In order to be successful, you must have experienced :
- Strong experience in the field of Event management, Community Fundraising or Digital Fundraising
- Experience of strategy development, planning and Implementation
- Experience of utilizing in depth data analysis and segmentation for marketing purposes
- Previous experience and knowledge of CRM systems
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively and passionately
- Ability to develop excellent working relationships with senior management, staff and volunteers
- Driving license and access to a car

About the Role
Working within a small fundraising team, the Partnerships and Event Fundraiser will make a significant contribution to securing a legacy for thousands of local young people through the generation of new income. This income generation is broken into two programmes: the Community Fundraising programme and the SME Corporate Partnerships programme, both of which you'll be involved in. As Partnerships and Event Fundraiser, you'll be working across a number of projects and events to engage with businesses about creative ways in which they can support the Hive Youth Zone.
The Community programme will encourage the local community to fundraise for the Hive through approaching schools, groups, and associations, and recruiting participants for events. The SME Corporate Partnerships programme will encourage businesses to donate up to £1000 through initiatives such as Charity of the Year applications, staff fundraising initiatives, and recruiting support from smaller local businesses. You will also support and inspire existing corporate partners as part of your role.
About You
This role is a perfect opportunity for a fundraiser, with a proven track record of securing funds via community and corporate fundraising, to set up a new Community programme at the Hive. We are also very much open to candidates from a sales, marketing, and account management background, as well as candidates with events and projects experience. We are delighted to be working with the wonderful King’s College Hospital Charity which is looking for a proactive Philanthropy Manager to join their team. Patients are at the heart of everything at this charity and they work tirelessly to support the day-to-day work of the hospital and deliver practical benefits by raising money for cutting-edge equipment, research, pioneering treatment, patient wellbeing and staff development.
In this newly created role as Philanthropy Manager, you will shape and develop the growth of prospects and high-value opportunities and create compelling cases for support and proposals. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of something new for this charity and, with an agile working pattern, you will certainly thrive in this friendly and supportive team.
You will need:
- Experience in relationship development with donors and internal stakeholders
- Commercial or charity sector income generation experience
- Excellent interpersonal with experience in a client-facing role
- Compelling writing style and great organisational skills
Salary: £39,000-£42,000
Contract: Permanent Full time
Location: Hydrid – London 1 day pw

You will need:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in a client or customer-facing role
- An understanding of high-value fundraising
- Experience writing engaging communications
Salary: £27,000-£29,000
