We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a real difference to the lives of children living with serious illness/ disability or mental health crises in hospital by making our case to donors, trusts and corporate organisations to fund our work in children’s hospitals.

We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Bid Coordinator to join our Fundraising Team.  Within the team you’d be responsible for generating income from The Door’s fundraising portfolio to meet our budgeted current and future service delivery needs, and specifically for raising income from grants and tender bids.  You’d coordinate the end-to-end process of bid submission, from researching funding opportunities to writing compelling bids to ensuring the timely delivery of reports to funders.

You’ll be an excellent written communicator, with the ability to compose accurate, concise and persuasive prose, strong administrative and relationship management skills, experience of working with budgets and a good eye for detail.  You should have experience of writing successful funding bids and reports.  A detailed understanding of the wider funding environment in the voluntary sector is also highly desirable.

This role is home-based and ideal for a skilled bid writer who needs flexible hours.  Occasional travel to our office in Stroud, Gloucestershire will be required.  Applicants must be UK-based and eligible to work in the UK.

About you

We are seeking an ambitious fundraiser with experience of developing multiple four and five-figure funding relationships from trusts and foundations. You should be confident and outgoing with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should be able to write with flair to develop compelling applications and reports and speak passionately and articulately about BookTrust's work to the staff and trustees of trusts and foundations.

The ideal candidate will be efficient, have a strong eye for detail, and have good time management skills. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team with common goals and have natural 'Fundraiser Detective Instincts' to spot funding opportunities and go above and beyond with stewardship.

Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work of the highest standard are crucial. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously, will be necessary for success in this role.

As Trust Fundraiser, you'll be primarily focussed on raising funds through trusts and foundations to help Chuf deliver their ambitious 2024-27 fundraising strategy. A good chunk of this will be project based. You'll also be part of the Chuf fundraising team, so you'll be getting involved with all income generating activities. This will include assisting in the delivery of Chuf's in Memory Giving strategy through maintaining donors and providing fantastic stewardship. ABOUT THE ROLE:

The role is essential to delivering the charities income targets for Trusts and Foundations and developing long term relationships. In addition, the post holder will support the Head of Income Generation with approaching, reporting, and maintaining Trust and Foundation relationships for major appeals.

he Fundraising Officer will work as part of the Fundraising team and focus on delivering income targets from trusts and foundations. The role is responsible for growing LDCT’s trust and foundation income by increasing the amount and longevity of funding from current supporters, as well as building a portfolio of new trusts and foundations through research, maintaining a pipeline of prospects, updating the Funding Matrix and making successful applications. Building good relationships with new funders including regular reporting, as well as good stewardship of existing funders, is an important part of the role.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Delivering on fundraising priorities and targets for trusts and foundations income, including our current and future major appeals.
2. Researching, identifying, and prioritising appropriate trusts and foundations to maintain and convert a pipeline of new, prospective trusts and foundations.
3. Working with colleagues across the organisation to help shape projects for funding and creating strong Cases for Support to ensure effective applications.
4. Writing and submitting high quality targeted funding applications.
5. Maintaining an effective stewardship programme for trusts and foundations including appropriate accurate records, ensuring the fundraising e-Tapestry database is kept up-todate and that fundraising income is processed efficiently with timely thank you letters and acknowledgements.
6. Managing relationships with existing and new funders to encourage maximum funding, multi-year funding awards and repeat funding.
7. Monitoring outcomes, updating the Funding Matrix and producing timely reports and information as required externally by funders and internally for Management reporting.
8. Promoting the support of funders through press releases and social media posts.
9. Adhering to standards of fundraising best practise as set out in the Institute of Fundraising’s Code of Practise and ensuring all activities comply with relevant Data Protection obligations and any other legislation

The Trusts and Foundations Team is part of the Fundraising, Marketing and Communications Department and is central to Whizz Kidz contributing to its ambitious goal of ensuring that every young wheelchair user in the UK is mobile, enabled and included. The six-strong team is responsible for delivering over £3m a year for the organisation’s services.

The Role

This role will be responsible for researching and applying to small Trusts and managing an existing portfolio (up to 10K) alongside supporting larger grant applications where required. You will create and maintain a prospect list, apply for relevant opportunities and effectively steward existing funders, preparing reports and updates ensuring they meet donor guidelines. Furthermore you will support the migration of our CRM from Raisers Edge to Microsoft Dynamics.

The person

You will have Trust fundraising experience with excellent research and writing skills with ability to identify new Trusts to apply to, prepare accurate and compelling donor reports and case studies and be confident in approaching donors and promoting the work of Whizz-Kidz.  You will have strong donor stewardship skills with ability to tailor approaches to the needs of the donor. You will also have strong time management skills with ability to manage and prioritise your workload and ideally experience of using a CRM for Trust Fundraising.

The Helen Bamber Foundation (HBF) is a pioneering human rights charity supporting refugees and asylum seekers who are the Survivors of extreme human cruelty. OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

As the Trusts and Foundations Executive, you will be responsible for delivering income from a range of donors and prospects, with a focus on trusts and foundations, through growing a successful grants pipeline and inspiring funders to support the Helen Bamber Foundation. We are looking for an individual who thrives working in a collaborative way and who wants to gain experience working with Fundraising and Communications Team that has a successful track record of securing income.

You will be managed by our Grants Manager and work closely with the Head of Fundraising to deliver high-quality applications and reports to small and medium-sized Trusts and Foundations, as well as supporting larger donors in collaboration with your team members.

Your Essential Criteria:

• One year of relevant work experience or voluntary experience
• Ideally experience in fundraising environment, preferably with grant-giving trusts
• IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office

Regenerate is looking to recruit a highly organised, efficient and focused grants officer. This integral role is all about thinking creatively and securing funding through applications to Trusts and Grant giving bodies.

The position requires someone with an attention to detail and ability to prioritise and multitask effectively. It requires an ability to think creatively and efficiently deliver applications and reports, keeping to strict deadlines.

To do this, you must be able to understand the impact of Regenerate’s work and creatively demonstrate its worth to a variety of current and potential stakeholders. You must also be able to accurately keep records and ensure data on applications, reports and other fundraising sources is well managed. In addition, you may be required to support the other areas of fundraising.
