Now is an exciting time to join the corporate partnerships team at Blood Cancer UK. We have spent the last two years building and cultivating our pipeline and have seen exciting wins as a result of this work, raising over £5million from the insurance sector.

We have seen record breaking corporate partnerships income in the last two years and we want that growth to continue – but we know there are more opportunities than we can capitalise on with our team the size that it is. The fundraising team has ambitious targets over the next 3 – 5 years, and we won’t reach them if we’re leaving potential partnerships behind.

We’re looking for an ambitious and tenacious new business fundraiser to help us bring new partnerships to the charity, and ultimately raise more money to deliver the change we want to see for people with blood cancer.

You will be an effective fundraiser; someone who can build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and is naturally entrepreneurial. If that’s you, we’d love to hear from you.

This post is a hybrid role and the postholder will be required to attend the office once a quarter for team meetings and regular travel for donor meetings will be required, currently a lot of our donor meetings are in London.

You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as being a collaborative team member. You will be supported by the Head of Public Fundraising to achieve transformational results across Individual Giving and Legacies. What the job involves

We're looking for a Proposition Development Manager to join a newly created team within our Fundraising directorate. The team have been created to work alongside the high value teams (Philanthropy and Partnerships) to provide them with the highest quality donor research, funding propositions and stewardship materials required to create transformative partnerships with businesses, high net worth individuals, trusts and foundations. 

As the Proposition Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in this team, supporting our ambitious high value fundraising strategy and the development of Prostate Cancer UK’s first Major Appeal. You'll take the lead in developing the Appeal case for support, and crafting funding propositions. Collaborating closely with our high-value fundraisers, you'll develop bespoke funding propositions ranging from six to seven figures, ensuring they resonate with potential donors. 

Your expertise will be central in guiding our high-value teams on creating impactful funding proposals, supported by consistent access to organisational priorities and plans. You'll also establish an 'Information Bank' of materials to support fundraising efforts. Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, you'll maintain the integrity of our data records in alignment with GDPR and organisational policies.

What we want from you

We’re looking for a fundraiser who understands high value fundraising. You’ll have experience in building compelling cases for support, bids and partnership concepts with major donors, companies, and potentially grant funders. Working in collaboration with our high value fundraisers, Research and Support and Influencing teams to create engaging and bespoke propositions. 

You’ll be an excellent communicator, often translating complex and technical information to a range of audiences and stakeholders in multiple formats (e.g. proposals, presentations or web copy). Your exceptional relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills will enable you to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

This is a rewarding role where you'll be supporting initiatives to deliver growth in high value fundraising, Philanthropy and Partnerships teams and assist in the development of long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with donors and partners.

UK-Med is a frontline medical aid charity. Born of the NHS, we’ve been working for over 30 years towards a world where everyone has the healthcare they need when crises or disasters hit.

We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual to lead the communications function of a fast-growing charity delivering frontline medical aid.

As the Head of Communications, you will play a key role in amplifying UK-Med’s voice, supporting our fundraising efforts through strategic communications, and ensuring our message reaches the world’s most vulnerable people.

UK-Med has an ambitious five-year strategy (you can view it here) with a goal to generate £1 million per year from voluntary sources by 2026 to fund emergency responses and training for health staff. While fundraising remains under the purview of another department, your role will be crucial in crafting and delivering the communications that support these fundraising efforts. Our charity’s income is currently primarily statutory, and while we are relatively new to fundraising, our voluntary income has quadrupled year on year for the last three years. Earlier this year, the Board invested in the team to support the delivery of the 2021-2026 Fundraising and Communications strategy.

As Head of Communications, you will build on the promising foundations laid to deliver an exciting chapter in the charity’s development. We are looking for an experienced grants fundraiser to join us and make a significant impact on our work with young people in central Doncaster. 

We are currently finalising our next Forward Plan, with an ambition to create an inclusive, vibrant community, committed to everyone having a fair chance to discover who they are and what they can become.  We currently work with children and young people aged 5 to 30. 

Our priority programmes include support coaching for young people, community activity sessions, sustaining our accommodation provision for vulnerable young adults and establishing how we can best support more young people on the homelessness pathway.  We have some great spaces that are in need of development, and we expect that both capital and revenue funding will be included in your workload. We also look for smaller grants during the course of the year, including for food for our residents and supplies for our art groups, and we hope to recruit volunteers to assist with the smaller and less complex bids. 

You would – for now – be our only Grants Officer, so should be familiar with the whole cycle of applications and monitoring and able to work independently.  This is a fabulous opportunity to make your mark on young lives in Doncaster and take our fundraising to the next level. 

Main Responsibilities

• To work delegated idea notes into fundable project profiles, each with a clear and compelling case for support.
• To create a clear and compelling case for support for unrestricted grants income.

We are now looking for an experienced and ambitious Head of Fundraising to lead the dedicated Fundraising Team at the hospice to ensure financial sustainability of the organisation’s services.

The Role

As the Head of Fundraising, you will be responsible for leading and developing the fundraising department. Duties will include:

• Working alongside the Director of Income Generation to create, develop & deliver a fundraising strategy to support the Hospice’s new objectives

You may have thought that leprosy is an ancient Biblical disease, but today someone is diagnosed with leprosy every two minutes. It is a disease of poverty, striking the most vulnerable. Stigma and discrimination mean many people with leprosy hide their symptoms for as long as possible, living in terrible fear of what will happen to them. We are seeking an Impact and Evaluation Manager to work closely with our Head of Data and Impact and Senior Data and Impact Officer. A key part of the role will be helping develop further how we evaluate the impact of our programmes. You’ll also be responsible for producing reports for different audiences including external partners and staff members delivering the IntoUniversity programme in our centres, and supporting with the management of our Salesforce database. As part of a small team, you’ll be involved in impact projects and providing key data support from the start.

The main duties of the role

• To work with the Impact and Operations teams to improve programme evaluation, including designing qualitative and quantitative impact and process evaluations.
• To lead the delivery of evaluations, including data collection, analysis and reporting.
• To act as an impact expert for the charity, using data and impact reporting internally and externally to develop IntoUniversity’s strategic goals
• To play a key role in the formal data and impact reporting for the charity including the production of Impact Reports and annual university reports, and ensuring the impact microsite is kept up to date.
• To prepare reports on the performance of the charity, collating data and presenting it in clear formats for a variety of internal and external audiences including: staff delivering the programme; Regional Operations Managers; the charity’s Senior Leadership and Senior Management teams; Trustees; Donors; University partners.
• To develop and maintain expertise in research and evaluation methodologies
• To keep abreast of research and policy developments in relation to the higher education and charity sectors.
• To lead on developing and delivering Impact training for new and existing staff.

The Local Storytelling Exchange is seeking a highly motivated individual to work closely with the Executive Director to drive forward the scale and pace of impact at the Exchange.

This person will be a creative individual with an entrepreneurial mindset. Excited about joining a start-up, they will be strategic and analytical, with a strong understanding of where storytelling can make the biggest public and political impact. A background in strategic communications and / or climate policy is desirable, but a strong track record in project management and ideas development is key. They will enjoy testing new ideas, evaluating success and developing new partnerships and opportunities. A self-starter, they will be a quick learner, able to take initiative and lead the effective delivery of programmes.

A clear grasp of the power of stories will be crucial to the success of this role.

These skills can have been acquired anywhere, but a commitment to environmental action is a must.
