As a Relationship Fundraising Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading our Relationship Fundraising Team to achieve our fundraising goals and objectives. Working arrangements

EDUCATION FOR ALL MOROCCO transforms the lives of marginalised girls, in the High Atlas mountains, enabling them to fulfil their potential, reducing social injustice and inequalities, improving the quality of life for women, and their communities.
Prior to the Al Haouz earthquake in September 2023 EFA funded six boarding houses, enabling young women to access senior school education. Five boarding houses were destroyed. Astonishingly, no girls or staff were in them at the time.
We are unashamedly ambitious to build on EFAs transformational work over the last two decades. Our Covid Recovery Strategy focussed on widening our impact, and the earthquake has just made us even more determined to deliver on our promise, because we have never been more relevant.
Due to the extraordinary generosity of donors, we have funding in place to support a major rebuilding programme. However we don't want to simply rebuild. Due to covid and the earthquake there is a lot of catching up to do.
As Head of Fundraising & Communications you will work with the trustees to deliver the strategic vision, by developing and implementing a successful fundraising and communications strategy. A new website is under construction and the successful applicant will play a leading role in determining its fundraising functionality, content, and messaging.

About Us
The Upper Room (TUR) works with a wide range of financially and socially disadvantaged groups including homeless people, people with long-term mental health conditions, asylum-seekers, refugees and ex-offenders – helping them to improve their lives and become productive members of society. Central to our offering is our UR4Meals service, providing free, home-cooked food to people who cannot afford to provide for themselves. We are also very proud of our UR4Driving programme, which supports people recently out of prison with free driving lessons in exchange for community volunteering. Gaining a driving licence greatly enhances their future employability prospects and helps break the cycle of re-offending. Additionally, our UR4Jobs project focusses on both client wellbeing and breaking down the many barriers to employment faced by disadvantaged people every day.
The role
This newly scoped role reports into the CEO and is critical to our ability to create the income we need to keep up with the ever-increasing demand on our services. Primarily, the role has two fundamental elements to it: firstly, working with both a specialist external consultant and the CEO in planning, submitting and reporting on the grants that make up a large proportion of our income; and secondly, the planning and managing of TUR’s traditional (and always fun) annual events. These include celebrity interviews and talks, garden parties and various community events such as the Green Days festival in Chiswick. There are additionally a number of community relationships that add great value to our work and efforts to raise funds which require regular contact. Occasionally, the role will also require presenting or talking to both funders and community groups as we share our magnificent story with them – and ultimately, convince them to support us.
About You
You live within – or know well – West/Central London; you probably need a job with some working flexibility and want to have genuine belief in the cause you’re promoting. You have a CV that demonstrates experience in a comparable role: this could be in another charity, CIC or other Non-Profit organisation. You are comfortable and confident with working autonomously, so you will need to be disciplined; you can articulate and ‘bring to life’ our story through your advanced written and oral communication skills, enabling us to always deliver highly compelling reasons to secure gain financial (and other) support. You don’t need to be a Microsoft Office expert, but you should be familiar with Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Finally, you are self-motivated and energetic, as well as passionate about making sure disadvantaged groups across West London get the opportunity to improve their highly challenging lives. Ideally you will have a driver's licence and use of a car, but this is not essential.

What we’re looking for:
- Experience of raising funds in a community fundraising environment

You will have excellent organisational and planning skills and experience of leading motivated, engaged and high performing teams particularly in a changing environment.
You will have experience of leadership in a large and complex fundraising and/or communications role or environment.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Supporter Stewardship Assistant to join our Supporter Stewardship Team at the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association.
We are looking for someone to provide administrative support and deliver an excellent supporter care experience to all supporters, members and donors. You will be able to effectively engage, inspire and motivate people to support the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Within this role, you will support the team with a wide range of tasks including:
- Advise and guide our new and existing supporters to make them feel valued and engaged with the charity, maximising their fundraising potential and encouraging repeat support.
- Work in partnership with Supporter Stewardship Officers to collaboratively complete all aspects of the Supporter Stewardship workload.
- Establish good rapport and understand supporters' needs and reasons for supporting and triaging supporters as required.
- Record supporter information on the Raisers Edge database accurately.
- Order fundraising materials and packs, and process any orders needed by other members of the Fundraising Team.
- Adhere to the Data Protection Act, HMRC, Audit regulations and other internal compliance procedures and policies.
- Play an active role as part of the Supporter Stewardship Team, encourage cross-team working and participate in working groups.
- Work to business and personal development objectives and as required participate in any relevant projects as agreed with the Supporter Stewardship Manager or Head of the Supporter Care team.

Job Description
We are looking for someone who has the experience, skills and drive to grow our income, to build strong relationships with supporters and to lead our communications. This will initially take place in the community of Nottinghamshire and provides an exciting opportunity to develop your own strategic fundraising and marketing approach to ensure we can support hundreds of local bereaved children and families every year.
Working closely with the Chief Executive, you will review current fundraising activities and communications to develop the existing income generation strategy to meet the charity’s strategic objectives. You will be responsible for leading a team of three, to enable them to reach their individual marketing, community fundraising and fundraising administration goals.
You will play a vital part in leading the income growth and expansion of the charity, as per the long-term organisational strategy, through proactively securing and developing existing support throughout the region. This will be through a variety of income streams including individual giving, in-memory donations, legacy donations, major donors, corporates and community.
About you
The successful candidate will have energy, ideas, skills, and a proven fundraising track record (or transferable experience of managing and developing diverse funding streams and effective communications).
You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, including networking, and good IT and social media skills. You will need a full UK driving licence, be self-motivated and the ability to work well alone and with others.
