Job description
We are growing our programme of research and are looking for a Research Manager to lead this work.
We are seeking to build our evidence base to inform national policy and the delivery of our services using both synthesised data from our services and new key pieces of research.
The Research Manager will work in the Policy and Research Team and manage a Research and Engagement Officer. The Research Manager will design, develop and implement an impactful programme of research that centres the needs of survivors and support the Research and Engagement Officer to conduct research. This will include managing and delivering two significant, funded research grants exploring the provision of support services and accommodation for LGBT victims and survivors.
You will promote the analysis, dissemination and use of the data generated to ensure maximum impact. This will include contributing to policy work led by the Director of Policy and Evidence, supported by the Policy Officer.
Location
Galop’s offices are located in London (Hybrid available). We are also open to this being a remote working role for someone based outside of London.
Hours
This role is offered on a 0.6 - 0.8 FTE (21-28 hours per week) basis, and we are open to discussion on how those hours are structured in order to encourage applicants with additional responsibilities or commitments.

£38,746.08 per year full-time equivalent including London weighting of £4,212.01 if living in London and/or working from our London office.
The salary pro-rata is £23,247.65 per year for 0.6 of the FTE and £30,996.86 per year for 0.8.
If the role is remote, the salary without London weighting pro-rata is £20,720.44 per year for 0.6 of the FTE and £27,627.26 per year for 0.8.
