About the role

Based at our offices in Stroud, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and confident Head of Finance to join our vibrant charity and help us in making a difference to people’s lives.

As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will lead on the sound financial management of the organisation and contribute to shaping our strategic direction.

This is a chance for you to draw on your accounting and financial experience in bringing new and innovative ideas to how we organise ourselves.

About you

This is an ideal role for someone with the ambition, energy and curiosity to develop and continually improve our accounting and reporting systems. Alongside your first-rate accountancy knowledge, you will bring excellent people skills and the ability to successfully and positively implement change.

You’ll enjoy managing those around you to help you deliver, and you’ll thrive if you are also happy to get stuck into a fiddly problem and fix it quickly. Your talent for knowing when to stand back and see the bigger picture will be vital in this busy role.

Empathy with the aims of the organisation and our clients is essential. 

This is a part-time role with options for flexible and hybrid working. We offer 25 days annual leave and a contributory pension scheme.
