The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven Fundraising and Events Lead to join our growing team. This is a new and exciting opportunity to shape the future of M7 Education’s fundraising strategy and be the driving force behind our next phase of growth.
You’ll take the lead in developing new income streams, building strong relationships with donors and fundraisers, and creating inspiring fundraising events and campaigns. Working closely with the CEO, you’ll have the freedom to innovate, test new ideas, and lay the groundwork for a future fundraising function within the charity.
This is a hands-on role that’s perfect for someone with experience in charity fundraising and event management who’s eager to make a tangible difference in education.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive fundraising strategy to increase income across multiple channels.
- Manage relationships with individual fundraisers, supporting their journeys and ensuring excellent stewardship.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver fundraising events — both third-party events (such as the SuperHalfs series) and M7-run initiatives.
- Research, write, and submit compelling grant applications to trusts and foundations.
- Lead creative fundraising campaigns that engage new supporters and promote M7 Education’s mission.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and community partners.
- Monitor fundraising performance, prepare reports, and evaluate impact to inform future growth.
- Contribute to the development of a future fundraising team, including volunteers and, in time, staff members.
Person Specification
Essential:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in charity fundraising, with a track record of generating income.
- Proven experience in event planning and delivery.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational and project management abilities.
- Confident working independently and taking initiative in a small, fast-moving team.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically about income growth.
Desirable:
- Experience in the education or children’s charity sector.
- Skills in communications, social media, or email campaigns.
- Understanding of sporting events and community fundraising (e.g. marathons, challenges).
- Experience writing successful grant or trust funding applications.

The Deputy Contract Manager is responsible for the operational management of our specialist customer focused support services across the service. Working in partnership with stakeholders, external agencies and our Commissioning Team, you lead your Team to offer high quality support to customers to maintain their tenancies and empower people to live their best lives and move to independence. Responsible for Safeguarding our customers, you will promote sector best practice and legislative compliance to keep our customers safe within their environment.
The role provides direct line management, leadership, coaching and support to Support Workers, Specialist Support Workers and Night Support Workers, ensuring compliance with current legislation, contractual requirements financial regulations and Look Ahead Policy and Procedures.

The shift pattern for this role involves Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, with 1 Sunday per month.

About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious and experienced practitioner to join Become’s Care Advice Service. They will respond to enquiries to our independent national Care Advice Line (CAL), advising children and young people in and leaving care, and professionals and caregivers supporting them, so that young people understand and access their rights, are signposted to specialist support, and feel less alone as they navigate care. They will deliver workshops and advice surgeries in the West Midlands, advising care experienced young people and care leavers to understand their rights.
Location
We are currently hybrid working: our team primarily works from home with in-person attendance and meetings generally expected once or twice per month, usually at our central hot-desking location in Old Street, London. For non-London based staff we will consider hot-desking options near you, if required. This role will deliver regular in-person workshops and advice surgeries in the West Midlands. As such Become is unable to meet the cost of travel for this from other regions, or the accumulation of TOIL for travelling to or from the region. However, any travel required within the West Midlands region for work purposes and required travel to our London office will be reimbursed by Become, as London is not the specified location for this role. We are open to conversations about flexible working arrangements.

The Sussex Beacon has a proud history of working with corporate supporters who are passionate about making a difference. The Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser will lead on identifying new corporate prospects, developing compelling proposals, and managing a portfolio of existing partners. They will create and deliver partnership plans that may include sponsorship, employee fundraising, cause-related marketing, and volunteering. By aligning business objectives with The Sussex Beacon’s values and impact, the postholder will ensure meaningful and sustainable relationships that benefit both parties.
Team Beacon
Team Beacon is the charity’s fundraising event brand, bringing together supporters through challenge events, campaigns, and volunteering. The Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser will work closely with the fundraising team to integrate corporate teams into Team Beacon activities, encourage staff engagement, and develop sponsorship packages for major events such as The Brighton Half Marathon, which we own, and community challenges. This collaborative approach enhances visibility and fosters a sense of shared purpose among partners and supporters alike.
Business Networking Events
The postholder will represent The Sussex Beacon at a variety of business networking events, including LGBTQ+ network events, across Sussex and beyond. These events offer valuable opportunities to connect with potential partners, showcase the charity’s impact, and build strategic relationships. The Fundraiser will be proactive in identifying and attending relevant events, from Chamber of Commerce meetings to local business expos, ensuring The Sussex Beacon maintains a visible and professional presence in the corporate community.
Other Duties
· Maintain accurate records of partner interactions and income through the charity’s CRM system.
· Prepare regular reports and updates for the Head of Income and senior leadership.
· Work with the communications team to highlight successful partnerships and case studies.
· Support the wider fundraising team during peak periods or major campaigns.
· Stay up to date with trends and developments in corporate fundraising and CSR.

We’re looking for Project Workers to join our dedicated Hither Green team at Spring Gardens and Hilda House. This is a great opportunity to be part of a specialist, trauma-informed service supporting 68 highly vulnerable adults in Lewisham who have experienced homelessness and face multiple challenges including mental health issues, complex needs, substance use, and trauma.
In the role of Project Worker you will be joining our busy client focused service to:
- Use a person-centred approach to support clients in identifying and working towards their personal goals.
- Respond to incidents and crises as part of a team, prioritising safety and wellbeing.
- Provide practical and emotional support in a caring, approachable way.
- Contribute to a safe, high-quality accommodation service as part of a committed team.
- Maintain accurate records related to client support, housing management, and health & safety.
- Lead shifts on a rota basis, ensuring effective task delegation and smooth service delivery.
- Continue developing your skills to provide holistic, person-centred support, while deepening your understanding of housing and benefits law, and other specialist areas supported through training, supervision and line management.
Work on 8 weekly shift rota that includes early shifts 08:00-18:00, late shifts 13:00-22:30, weekends 08:00-20:30 and bank holidays. For this role staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.

About the Role
As the Head of the India Office, you will be the senior representative and strategic leader for the ITF in the region. You will have overall responsibility for the operational and political effectiveness of the Delhi office, ensuring our work is aligned with both regional and global objectives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven Senior Leadership Experience: A track record of leading teams and offices, preferably within a membership-based, trade union, or non-profit context.
- Expertise in the Region: A deep understanding of the political, economic, and social landscape of India and South Asia, particularly relating to labour rights and the transport sector.
- Exceptional Relationship Builder: Demonstrable experience in high-level stakeholder engagement with unions, government bodies, and other key actors.
- Strategic Programme Manager: Strong experience in overseeing multiple work programmes and managing donor-funded projects, ensuring delivery against strategic objectives.
- A Commitment to Empowerment: A genuine and demonstrable commitment to advancing the leadership of women and young workers within the labour movement.

The Role
The role of the Events team within Alpha International is to oversee the organising of Leadership Conference (LC) in-person, any events around Leadership Conference (including Donor events, Wednesday CEF event, Alpha Staff day, regional satellite events) and London-based Alpha events across the year (such as Alpha Collective and Experience Alpha).
This role is responsible for managing health and safety across the HTB sites, catering (crew, bloom café, Brompton road food vans and green rooms), internal deliveries and LC app, along with other LC related tasks.
The Key Responsibilities
Logistical arrangements:
o Development and execution of the events Day Plan. This is a minute-by-minute detailed plan that holds all the information of what will take place at the event
o Gathering technical and logistical requirements from speakers, stream leaders and internal departments; then negotiating this with the IT, Production, Vergers and Volunteers Teams or with an external venue or AV suppliers
o Determining catering requirements and caterer management
o Hiring of any additional venues as required and HTB site logistics
o Attending site visits (for external venues that might be used)
o Hiring of any additional equipment required for the event
o Liaising with the Production, IT, Verger, Worship team and all other internal departments
o Ensuring any legal and insurance tasks are thought about and in place for the event taking place
o Creating floor plans for the vergers to use
o Liaising on interpretation needs are met including BSL
o Liaising regarding speakers and associated tasks including contracts, gifts and accommodation
o Liaising and implementing programme decisions
o Developing and implementing new floor plans and layouts at events
o Ensuring event Health and Safety has been implemented
o Delivery plans
o Any other event related task
Marketing and communications:
o Working closely with the marketing team on the marketing plan and budget
o Steer and monitor social media campaigns, alongside internal creative services teams
o Ensuring all GDPR protocols are followed – keeping the login access tracker up to date
o Overseeing LC app contract and content
o Delegate collateral e.g. packing tote bags
Staffing:
o Volunteer recruitment working closely with the Alpha leadership on this
o Communication with HTB staff as to their specific roles and responsibilities & conducting staff briefings
o Building working relationships with volunteers and team when onsite
Registration and Ticketing:
o Oversight of the busy Leadership Conference inbox for guest queries
o Creating booking system for taking in person events registrations using an online event platform

Safeguarding
o Linking in with the Safeguarding Lead if any safeguarding issues come up in the inboxes or at the event
Debrief
o Debrief to be done for different areas involved in
Leadership Conference Week Responsibilities
o Taking a lead role on several key packages assigned to this role
o Create and maintain comprehensive event documentation
o Writing papers on the different areas for senior management to review as and when is required
o Stay within the budget allocated and make adjustments to event constraints based on financial situation. Looking for ways to save money on all areas you look after
o Developing and implementing new and improved processes
o Holding the Alpha standard on communication in everything we do or send before, during or after the event
o Attend senior leadership meetings to provide updates as an when is required on your different areas
o Managing admin across the event, dealing with sign off, budgets and compiling post event reporting – to take learnings for next years event
o Looking at ways to improve LC year on year by researching competitor events and market knowledge
o Any other event related tasks to support Head of Events
Helping on the day at CEF events across the year (such as Alpha Collective, Experience Alpha, Rising Generation).

Our adult adoption support service works primarily with adopted adults and birth families. Adopted adults can access their records and receive an intermediary service and be supported through a reunion. Your skills
We are looking for a Social Worker or Counsellor, who has experience of working directly with those affected by adoption. You will have experience and knowledge of adoption law and practice and able to liaise with partner agencies to deliver the service in North and West Yorkshire.
You will be a dedicated and enthusiastic professional who is committed to improving the outcomes for adoptive and birth families, adopted adults and relatives. You will also have strong verbal and written communications skills and be able to deliver the service to a high standard.

Job Summary
Working with the Senior Corporate Partnership Manager, this role supports high-value corporate partnerships through engagement, stewardship, and identifying new opportunities aligned with the charity’s goals. MHI is at a pivotal point in its development, having experienced significant growth since launching in 2017. Over the past 18 months, a primary focus has been on cultivating several major partners to support our core services (Shout and The Mix) and the development of three new digital mental health products. We are now looking to focus on these key partners, while expanding our portfolio of new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support with high value corporate partnerships, including the delivery of employee engagement activities and communications, fundraising events and challenges
- Manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships, delivering first class stewardship and identifying and maximising opportunities for wider engagement
- Support the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to steward and engage partners and prospects, including thought leadership, communications, events, volunteering and fundraising activities
- Support with business development, utilising Salesforce, Pearlfinders and LinkedIn to identify and track opportunities
- Support the Senior Corporate Partnership Manager to create proposals, offers and presentations for new and existing partners

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with varying audiences, including corporate partners
- A strong interest in mental health and in data and technology, and an understanding of corporate partnership opportunities for the sector
Desirable
- Experience of using Salesforce or equivalent CRM.
- Experience of both face to face and virtual stakeholder meetings with high value corporate funders
