- Work with colleagues across the charity to understand their questions and translate them into useful reporting and business intelligence solutions.
- Develop clear KPIs and performance measures that give teams a consistent view of what is happening and where attention is needed.
- Turn data into clear, engaging reporting that makes complex information easier for different audiences to understand.
- Work alongside our Data Engineering and Analysis teams to develop the datasets and reporting capabilities colleagues need.
- Identify opportunities to automate and simplify reporting, reducing manual processes and making information easier to access.
- Support colleagues to confidently use dashboards and self-service reporting, helping make data part of everyday decision-making.
- Help maintain high standards of data quality, accuracy and governance across our reporting.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience developing dashboards and reporting using Power BI.
- Strong SQL skills, with experience interrogating, analysing and validating large datasets.
- Experience working with multiple data sources to produce accurate and meaningful business intelligence.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to spot trends and understand what the data is telling you.
- Experience developing KPIs, performance measures or reporting frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to understand what colleagues need and translate this into practical reporting solutions.
- Good communication skills, including the ability to present data and explain findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
- A proactive approach to improving and automating reporting processes.
- Experience of fundraising, supporter or charity data would be useful, but isn't essential.
This is an opportunity to help make data easier to understand, easier to access and more useful. You’ll enable colleagues to have the confidence to turn information into action.
