Purpose of this role

At NEON, we know that you can’t separate the external work of the organisation from the internal work. They are so interlinked and interdependent that they both have to be given priority and resources if we want to achieve high impact. We see them as inseparable. 

So the purpose of this role is to support NEON achieving its mission by ensuring things are running smoothly:

• day-to-day through running some of our core systems and processes and being responsive to team needs

• in the long-term by helping to embed a progressive culture and working on operational projects

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Overseeing tech systems and hardware - website management, Mobilize, Nationbuilder, GDrive, Slack & other communication channels, laptops, mobiles, printers, and meeting tech & peripherals - and provide technical support to staff as well as collaborating with our external IT support providers;

2. Overseeing day to day running of the office, managing office supplies including first aid and ensuring accessibility as well as supporting hybrid working needs;

3. Supporting GDPR compliance - being the point of contact with our external advisor, supporting data champions in the hubs and managing GDPR changes; 

4. Working with the People & Ops Manager to run excellent people processes for the lifecycle of our staff from recruitment and induction to offboarding;

5. Participate in Operations projects, for example IT review & optimisation, GDPR review or programme support review;

6. Managing logistics for board & other meetings, team away days and retreats, other NEON events and other ad hoc team support, in particular for the EDs - booking meeting rooms, sorting out meeting tech or ordering food;

7. Monitor organisational accounts including generic email accounts and NEON networks;

8. Running delivery of an ops programme with the whole ops team - currently this is ops peer support network but with ambitions to expand to a formal programme;

9. Play an active part in the whole NEON team, contributing to organisation-wide plans.

Who you are:

1. You care about organisational culture and people and have some experience in this role that you want to build on. You are committed to improving conditions & processes for the benefit of your colleagues and the wider movement. 

2. You have experience dealing with people in different capacities, both internally and externally, on a day to day basis, and build strong working relationships.

3. You have the skills and drive to do day-to-day people & ops tasks listed above and want to do them as a regular part of your job. You see this as important work in itself, not just a stepping stone to other parts of NEON (though you are also keen to learn about all aspects of NEON’s work) This includes doing logistics (venue bookings, booking travel for 40+ people, organising catering etc), and “facilities” work like keeping our office running well and ensuring our team have the equipment they need to work well. 

4. You are experienced with using a range of IT and tech and are happy to learn new apps and new bits of hardware, so that you can get all of your IT tasks done well, and teach the team how to use things whether that’s updating our website, helping the team to use Slack as well as possible, or finding a new solution for hybrid working

5. Able to flex between longer term projects, regular cycle work and responsive requests - you are great at being self-motivated in order to push longer projects forward over weeks or months, as well as getting daily or weekly operational tasks done. But you can also shift your workload to turn things around on a day when it’s important.

6. You are proactive, well-organised and feel empowered to solve problems yourself when they come up (sometimes described as an “ownership mindset”), as well as balancing this with asking for help when you need it

7. Excellence is important to you and it shows in your work. Whatever you do, you do it to a high standard. To you, it doesn’t matter whether that’s making sure our office plants are all watered, or coordinating all of the logistics for one of our flagship programmes, it will be done excellently and to deadline

8. A great communicator and you know that good communication is really important to the type of work you do - you’ll be happy to use our internal comms systems (Slack, Google Suite, Asana) to keep everyone in the loop on your work, and you’ll do the same for participants on our programmes via email and phone

9. About the Role

You will play a strategic role in our organisational growth with new services, with a focus on shaping service delivery; offering specialist advice, supervising assistant psychologists and postgraduate research.

Our IAP's support residents who have left prison and are based within a residential setting to reintegrate into the community. They are given support and guidance to aid their reablement, resettlement and rehabilitation post prison. You will contribute towards them achieving goals necessary for their personal development and move on within the community. 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Providing high quality psychological services, contributing to the delivery of Approved Premises aims as specified by the Ministry of Justice.
• Ensuring all services are delivered in accordance with HCPC standards of conduct, performance and ethics.
• Demonstrating clinical leadership by setting direction for the psychological service and driving high standards for quality, safety and ongoing improvement.
• Exercising clinical responsibility for residents’ psychological care, showing skill and judgement in selecting appropriate assessments and interventions.
• Consulting with other parties contributing to a resident’s diagnosis, formulation, treatment and risk management in the community.
• Create opportunities to collaborate with peers including AP-based psychologists nationally and OPD pathway psychologists delivering services to APs.

2. Deliver excellent partner stewardship and build strong relationships with partners helping to develop a pipeline of high-value, multi-year, strategic partnerships which support the charity’s strategic objectives.   
3. Working collaboratively with key teams across Impact, Comms and Fundraising, develop compelling pitches and propositions which demonstrate the impact of the charity and secure partners’ support.

• Manage a pipeline of new and existing partnership opportunities and track progress using the charity’s CRM to ensure excellent record keeping and administration.

Commercial Development Lead is an exciting, brand-new role with great potential for an ambitious self-starter who can make the most of our venue's stunning spaces and heritage USP.

The Felix Project

The Felix Project is London's biggest food redistribution charity and the largest end-to-end food redistribution charity in Europe.

Our vision is a London where no one goes hungry and good food is never wasted.

We rescue surplus food from businesses, supermarkets, restaurants and farms. This food is nutritious, in-date, and safe and includes a high proportion of fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and fish. If we did not rescue this food, it would be at risk of going to waste. Instead, we deliver it free of charge to London charities, schools, food banks, food hubs and other organisations serving people in need. Our food is a vital lifeline for children and families, people on low incomes, people who have lost their jobs, the homeless, refugees, domestic abuse survivors, the elderly and keyworkers.

We are a very ambitious and dynamic young charity and we haven’t stopped growing since we were founded in 2016 in memory of Felix Byam Shaw, by his father, entrepreneur Justin Byam Shaw. We recently ran a very high-profile media campaign with the Evening Standard and Independent, raising £10million to feed London. We have celebrity endorsement from Reece James, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Jack Whitehall, Steven Fry, James May and many others.

Last year we delivered enough food for 30 million meals to help people in need. Because nearly all the food we receive is donated by the food industry and volunteers, every £1 of expenditure redistributes £10 worth of food.

Purpose of the Job

We are looking for the Warehouse Team Leader to play a key role in our depot operations, with exceptional organisation skills, excellent people skills, attention to detail and a positive ‘can do’ attitude’. Ideally, you will have a background in warehousing or other operational roles, however, we are willing to train people who are passionate about our cause, have an excellent work ethic, and have strong customer service skills.

Duties and Responsibilities 

 The role is subject to a degree of flexibility but initially, the Team Leader will be involved with the following activities:

• Managing a team of staff and volunteers to run a warehouse of chilled and ambient food

Carers’ Hub plays a vital role in Lambeth, supporting the many unpaid carers across the borough with 1 to 1 and peer support, signposting, training, workshops and social activities. About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and organised Office Administrator to join our team. To manage the overall running of the Carers’ Hub office, including overseeing HR admin, implement policy and procedures, including Health and Safety, maintain administrative processes, manage stakeholders, serve the trustee board, and work closely with the Carers’ Hub team in the implementation of events and projects.

The Office Administrator role will provide a wide variety of operational support to the Carers’ Hub Leadership Team as we develop our offer and increase the number of carers who access our services. About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Registered Practitioner Psychologist with a background in clinical psychology to join our team in Croydon.

The service offers a psychologically informed environment across four sites, providing low to high support forensic mental health services to our residents with forensic mental health needs, complex conditions, and dual diagnosis.

In this role, you will drive the delivery of evidence based psychological assessments and interventions aimed at the rehabilitation and reintegration of our residents into the communities. This is a creative, evolving, and impactful role which works closely with our Group Psychological Lead and wider teams to provide support to staff and at times residents to support in providing a streamlined and psychologically informed service.

Key Responsibilities Include: 

• Provide advice, guidance, and support to the team with supporting our residents to overcome personal challenges and create a supportive environment
• Advise and streamline best practices, and enhance the overall skills and expertise of the team to deliver high quality care and support

About You

The Youth-Led Digital Campaigns Internship role is a twelve-month paid internship beginning in March 2026.

An exciting opportunity to be involved in the development of a growing adult literacy charity as it expands across North England

One in 20 adults in the UK has never learnt to read at all. This can have a serious impact on their confidence and wellbeing, limiting access to training, employment, and everyday opportunities that many take for granted. Being unable to read as an adult can be isolating and dangerous, reinforces social inequality, restricts economic growth, and worsens intergenerational disadvantage - but it is never too late to learn.

Read Easy helps adults transform their lives by learning to read. It does this by supporting its growing network of locally run, volunteer-led affiliated groups that offer free, confidential, one-to-one reading coaching—both in person and online to adults - aged from 18-88. 

With its free, flexible, confidential approach, Read Easy encourages people who are too embarrassed to join a class to come forward for one-to-one support. Each new reader is provided with their own personal Reading Coach, so that they can learn in private and at their own pace. Learning to read transforms their lives in many other ways as well, including enabling them to support their children’s and grandchildren’s reading, and so transfers the benefits to the next generation.

There are currently 80 affiliated Read Easy groups across England, together involving more than a thousand volunteers. Read Easy UK is the registered charity and umbrella organisation which supports this network of affiliated volunteer groups and provides the structure, training and support to enable volunteers to establish groups in new areas.

As our North Regional Adviser, your role would be to provide strategic leadership, guidance, and oversight to ensure that all volunteer groups in your region consistently deliver high-quality services aligned with Read Easy UK’s strategy.

You will support local volunteer leaders to strengthen group performance, and foster collaboration across affiliated groups, so that that they deliver coaching to Readers with consistent quality, and a positive and worthwhile experience is had by all.

You will also find volunteers to ‘pioneer’ four new groups in the counties where there is no Read Easy presence and provide them and our 17 existing groups and pioneers in the region, with high-quality support. Your quality support will ensure that they provide the same for their volunteers and new Readers. From meeting (mostly online) with Team Leaders to provide one to one support, and hosting online and annual in-person volunteer forums, to delivering presentations and occasional training for small groups of volunteers, this is a dynamic and rewarding role.

This is a home-based post requiring flexibility, some early evening working and occasional travel to visit groups. The role is available on a part time basis (22.5 hours p/w, 60% of 37.5 hours p/w FTE).

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Live within one of the following areas: York, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire or Greater Manchester (Due to the location of our groups in the region, and to ensure efficient travel);
• have been employed to work with volunteers for at least two years;
