At Ambitious about Autism, we’re currently looking for a Research Manager to join our External Affairs team.
You’ll conduct and commission research projects, publish and disseminate research findings to ensure we are maximising our reach and impact, and ensure that we are using relevant and up-to-date evidence throughout our work.
You’ll identify key research needs and questions to continually improve our activities and impact for autistic children and young people, drafting briefs and managing independent researchers to deliver projects on time and to budget.
You’ll use both quantitative and qualitative research methods to develop and support co-produced research with autistic children and young people, as well as parents and carers, whilst ensuring that new evidence is embedded into our resources, working collaboratively with the policy, communications, fundraising and service delivery teams to ensure that we maximise the impact of our findings.
The successful candidate will be joining the organisation at an exciting time and this role will play a central role in providing an evidence base for us to influencing Government, as well as enable us to engage media and public attention to our calls for change. It will also look for ways to unlock insight and learning, so we can influence the practice of the wider education sector.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Strong working knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Proven experience of managing research projects or programmes within agreed timescales and budgets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to critique and summaries data and research findings to make recommendations.

Purpose of job: To work with the Partnerships and Philanthropy/Fundraising, Finance and across all Foundling Museum teams by providing excellent CRM & systems administration. The Foundling Museum is transforming how digital systems underpin the foundations of this small but mighty Museum and charity. The position of CRM & Systems Administrator sits at the heart of this continued transition, following the successful implementation and migration to Shopify, Xero & Beacon CRM in 2023.
This new role is essential to the success of Philanthropy and Partnerships, Director’s Office and the whole team, in providing effective research and administration support. The CRM & Systems Administrator will provide support across all fundraising areas including individual giving, corporate sponsorship and trusts and foundations as well as playing a vital role in keeping all Museum systems working effectively.

Key objectives in first 6 months:

Key responsibilities:
CRM Administration & Finance Processes
- Maintain and regularly update the CRM system by logging all applications made and pending, prospects, funding received, reporting deadlines, reports, thank you letters and all other supporter correspondence
- Process donations, pledges and ticket payments from individuals, organisations and trusts and foundations, ensuring gift acknowledgements on CRM are up-to-date and any information related to gifts, grants and donations received is captured accurately and consistently
- Day-to-day administration of the Museum’s Friends, patrons and corporate sponsorship schemes and 1700 Clubs, as directed by the Philanthropy and Partnerships team
- Support the maintenance of accurate financial records of funded projects

Data & Insights
- Assist in data capture and gathering, including statistics or insight to support reporting, business cases, reports and funding bids

Organisational Infrastructure

Job Purpose
To manage the day-to-day accounting and financial tasks, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions, and providing support in the preparation of financial reports. This includes processing of both purchase and sales invoices and the reconciliation of the books of prime entry. You will assist senior members of the finance team at month end and year end.
Main Duties
1. Go through relevant financial procedures as necessary with new staff.
2. Set up and train new starters on the purchase order system.
3. Review and post all monthly petty cash and prepaid card returns per the management accounts timetable.
4. Maintain the Purchase Ledger making any changes necessary such as name and bank details with the necessary correct documentation.

About the role
This role will provide financial and operational leadership and management for CCLC particularly focussed on the Legal Practice Unit and the Migrant Children’s Project but with support for the Child Law Advice Service and Coram International where required. Managing a small finance team, the role will hold primary responsibility for core financial functions within CCLC including legal aid billing and management and tracking of grant and other charitable funding. Through systematic and efficient financial management, the post holder will play a pivotal role in CCLC’s financial sustainability. The role will act as a key point of contact with Coram’s central finance team and a range of internal and external stakeholders on financial matters.
The role will also oversee the smooth running of the London and Colchester offices through line management of operations and administrative staff.
The role would suit a high organised and efficient business support professional with experience of financial management within the legal or charity sector. In particular, candidates with experience of legal billing and more specifically, civil legal aid billing, would be welcomed.
This is a largely office-based role in order to fully provide support to the finance and operations team. However, some remote / hybrid working may be possible depending the experience of the candidate after the initial settling in period (to be negotiated with the successful candidate).The finance team are split between the London and Colchester offices and the post holder should expect some travel to both locations. Conservation Collective (CC) funds solutions to protect the environment, restore nature, and safeguard against climate change. Prospectus is delighted to be working with a well-known global charity supporting the welfare of local communities and their animals to appoint their new HR / Business Change Manager – People and Culture to cover a parental leave for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a pivotal role to assist our client’s team through the provision of a high-level HR service, operating as a business partner guiding the charity through re-structures and overall organisational change. The post holder will provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to Directors, Heads of Department, Managers and staff on People & Culture matters, as well as providing insights on HR policy implementation. The successful candidate will also work on initiatives and projects in the People & Culture’s operating plan to improve organisational performance ranging from talent management, diversity & inclusion, performance management, reward, and benefits review.
We are on the hunt for an all-rounded, CIPD qualified, HR generalist with extensive experience in change management and digital transformation. To be successful, you need to have strong experience working in a business focused / income generating environment as an HR Business Partner and solid systems knowledge and use of HR systems. You will be a change leader, able to embrace and facilitate change and to bring a continual improvement mindset. You will have excellent influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to persuade others to follow organisation systems and procedures.
