We are looking for an Events Fundraising Officer for an incredible mental health charity to play a pivotal role in the Community and Events Fundraising teams strategic objectives.

This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in the either the London or Cardiff office. There is a permanant role available and there may be a 12 month contract with the team also.

The Role
Project Management: Deliver fundraising activity and supporter journeys from beginning to end, from writing briefs, working with creative agencies/freelancers, to collating results.

Data Analysis: Use data and insight to inform your work, to evaluate your projects and inform future activity, producing high quality analysis reports for activities.

Budget Management: Manage timely payment of invoices, including raising/requesting POs accurately and tracking expenditure to ensure activities are within budget.

Relationship Management: Attend supporter led and third-party events to help enhance supporter experience and deepen relationships.

The Candidate
Volunteer Managment: Experience and a proven track record of managing volunteers to undertake a fundraising activity and exceed their targets.

Data and Insight: Ability to interpret and analyse data and use insight to improve performance and help inform future strategies.

Project Management: Excellent project management skills, including managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Communication skills: An ability to deal with people at all levels and in all walks of life, on the telephone, face-to-face and in written communication.

The Role

The fundraising team at EIA, is responsible for raising income across trusts and statutory funders, as well as raising funds from individuals. The income raised from public fundraising has increased in recent years and they are investing in this area to further increase unrestricted income so that we can conduct even more investigative and campaigning work to protect our natural world.

It is an exciting time to join EIA, as we embark on a new organisational strategy and a new fundraising strategy. This role is crucial to our ambitious plans to step change our public fundraising and ensure the best possible experience for all of our supporters. Your work will help to ensure that our activities inspire the public to give generously to enable us to combat environmental crime and abuse around the world.

Responsibilities:

* Lead on the production of key supporter engagement pieces, the Year in Review and Supporter newsletters, including: curating the content, copywriting, data, as well as liaising with the mailing house and graphic designer.
* Plan, implement and evaluate digital and offline supporter-driven supporter journeys from all individual giving audiences, including appeals, digital, regular giving and the weekly lottery
* Work with the Senior Individual Giving Officer on the 40th anniversary supporter engagement activities
* Work closely with the Senior Individual Giving Officer, Supporter Services Officer and teams across the organisation (including the Communications and Campaign teams) to develop inspiring and targeted content and communications that increase engagement and lifetime value of supporters
* Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of supporter journeys
* Along with the Supporter Services Officer, be a key point of contact for supporters, ensuring that all supporters have a positive experience

New Supporter Acquisition

* Lead on all aspects of supporter acquisition through digital and telephone channels, ensuring that all campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and meet the campaign KPIs:
* Weekly Lottery acquisition campaigns - promoting to both new and existing supporters, to acquire new lottery players and raise regular income.
* Digital lead generation and acquisition campaigns - to recruit new cash and regular givers
* Telephone fundraising campaigns - to recruit new, and reactivate lapsed, regular giving supporters using leads from a variety of online and offline sources.
* Responsible for the end-to-end management of acquisition campaigns, from briefing internal and external stakeholders and suppliers, to developing creative and monitoring results and evaluating performance

Requirements:

* Demonstrable experience in an individual giving role in the charity sector
* End-to-end experience of creating successful direct marketing campaigns
* Excellent campaign management and planning skills
* Strong written communication skills and experience of writing compelling and engaging copy
* Good understanding of digital marketing and social media

The Role

This role will support the Financial Controller to deliver a high-quality payments and cash management service. The role of the Cash and Payments Manager is to oversee the Operational Finance team (3 people) and be responsible for managing, monitoring, and reporting on all cash transactions. You will manage cash management systems and processes, recommending and implementing any improvements to current processes and controls.

You will review and approve bi-weekly supplier/expenses payment runs ensuring that there is sufficient cash available and review, sample check and provide second stage approval for payment run files on the banking systems to ensure accurate payments.

The Charity uses Salesforce as its main CRM solution. It is used to manage the data of fundraisers, volunteers, events and donations. The Charity is in the process of implementing Boomi as it's middleware solution and are looking for a Data Integration Officer to play a key role in making the project a success.

Working within a small team, the ideal candidate for this position is someone who enjoys and excels in designing, developing, and implementing integration processes that connect different business systems, ensuring seamless data flow and optimal performance. Your role will involve collaborating with the Database Officers and Business Analysts to understand business requirements along with supporting the Database Officers and QA Tester with testing within the Boomi platform.

As a Data Integration Officer, the postholder must also demonstrate an excellent technical skillset both in terms of their data manipulation and administration skills, and in their consistently high level of accuracy and attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated with a "can do" / problem solver approach and desire to deliver added value and improvements on an ongoing basis.

You will have experience of managing and importing bulk data along with experience of data integration into Salesforce using middleware solution. The role raises unrestricted income from individuals by planning and executing the day-to-day campaigns to recruit, engage and retain supporters.

Key responsibilities will include;

• Creating, planning, delivering and evaluating multi-channel, insight-led, supporter-centric campaigns. This will include both acquisition and retention campaigns.
• Managing production of supporter material, including email acquisition & retention campaigns, social media posts, website content, print advertising, direct mail and inserts.
• Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and liaise with external agencies and suppliers to effectively deliver projects and campaigns.
• Working with colleagues to identify individual stories that can be crafted into impactful content for use in contribution marketing campaigns.
• Innovation - Manage a continuous cycle of testing new channels and developing acquisition and retention for individual giving, based on audience insight and sector trends.

The successful candidate will have experience of; 

• income generation from direct marketing campaigns (acquisition and/or retention) across a variety of offline and digital channels
• effective campaign copy writing
• project management to deliver acquisition or retention campaigns
• using databases for targeting, segmentation, testing and response analysis and how to apply these learnings to future campaigns
• managing and monitoring external suppliers and agencies

This position can be either a hybrid role if commutable to the North London Head Office OR remote for candidates based across the UK who want to work from home.

The Public Affairs Manager will play a key role in delivering the organisation’s external affairs strategy, helping to communicate their research and shape government policy, with a primary focus on Westminster. As a leading organisation in the green homes sector this charity has ambitious goals to influence public policy to accelerate the drive to decarbonise homes, heat and energy and this position will play an integral role in supporting this work. 

You will help deliver the public affairs function developing political briefings, meeting politicians, forwarding the charities positions, and attending parliamentary events.  When needed you will also engage with devolved administrations and cross-party groups, as well as support in party conference engagement and work with partners and coalition groups to help deliver aims and objectives.  

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced Public Affairs professional who understands the political environment in Westminster and across the UK and is passionate about tackling the climate crisis.

You should be knowledgeable on how legislation and policy is developed across government and how to influence it and inform the debate. You will also have a passion for driving practical solutions to the climate emergency.

This is a home-based position that would suit a candidate living within close proximity to London for regular attendance at meetings and events.
