A prestigious university is recruiting a Head of Finance, Planning & Analysis to take on a key role and drive forward the university forward. As the head of FP&A you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Ensure the provision of a high standard of customer service in a business partnering capacity, delivering advice and information to budget-holders and senior managers in the University that is relevant, accurate and timely.
- Lead and manage the Financial Planning and Analysis team, within Finance consisting of Business Partners, Management Accounts Analysts and a Research Finance team to deliver ‘fit for purpose’ professional support services, delivered in line with professional practice, in a consistent and timely manner within the budget allocated, adhering to financial regulations, and are evaluated for impact and value for money, and contingencies are in place to ensure business continuity and risk management.
- To ensure a consistent and high quality of service is provided to Heads of college/PS Directors through the development and implementation of appropriate processes. To seek continuous improvement in the content and presentation of all financial information for management purposes, including the monthly financial report.
- To manage the annual budget-setting process along with quarterly forecasting cycles, in liaison with the Deputy Director of Finance and Director of Planning and Performance, ensuring that it is consistent with the financial strategy inclusive, transparent and meets the University’s goals.
- To lead the development and automation of regular financial planning cycles, including quarterly forecasting and to support the Deputy Director of Finance in the development and implementation of the 5-year planning process.
- To lead the development and improvement of financial modelling, notably in support of financial business cases for all material initiatives requiring approval under the Universities Delegated Authority regulations.
- To lead the annual TRAC submission, ensuring that the University fulfils the requirements of the Office for Students (OfS), and advise on how the outcomes can be utilised to support the University in achieving its strategic goals.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Head of Digital to join our Brand and Marketing Communications team on a 12 month maternity contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a newly formed digital responsible for both digital experience and digital engagement.

This role will start at a key time in strategy development and long term planning, as they enter the final phase of their incredibly successful Up Against Time Appeal to replace their two helicopters.
As they enter the final phase of the appeal, having raised £11.5m of their £15m target (with a number of further pledges confirmed) this role will focus on developing the long term Trusts fundraising strategy. As Deputy Head of Philanthropy you will be tasked with considering the opportunities presented by the new 15 year organisational strategy, and contributing to the wider Philanthropy, Partnerships and Events team plans to ensure they have a strong footing as they look to the long term and next 15 years of London's Air Ambulance Charity.
As Deputy Head of Philanthropy you will not only lead on strategy development but also build and develop the Trusts pipeline, leading and developing the Trusts and Prospect Research teams to improve internal processes and influence/respond to upcoming fundraising opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Trusts and Prospect Research teams and programmes through a year of maternity cover, ensuring both areas are in a strong position on the return of the substantive postholder.

SHiFT’s Head of Practice Development will lead the supervisory and direct practice work SHiFT does with children, young people and the people in their lives who matter. This is a critical role for an expert in practice with complex and highly vulnerable young people. The role is an opportunity to take on a system influencing position to shake up the youth criminal justice system.
The role has been designed so that you would directly lead a small central team and be outwardly focussed on supporting SHiFT Guides and SHiFT Practices to work in ways with young people that are aligned with the SHiFT Framework. We do not want you focussed on managing a large team, developing the central organisation, or managing partnerships with local authorities. We want you to be obsessively focussed on consistently excellent practice.
Key Duties
Working with support and direction from SHiFT’s Director of Practice and Learning, your principal responsibilities will be:

Experience, knowledge and skills:
- Substantial expertise in leading, developing and assuring exceptional practice between practitioners and young people caught in highly risky situations and relationships.
- Knowledge of, and/or experience of using, systemic ideas in practice with children and young people would be highly advantageous.
- Experience of influencing the practice of others through your own direct line management, through supervision, coaching and teaching.
- Detailed knowledge of youth justice and children’s social care agencies, systems, and policies.

The Child Opportunity Fund’s goal is to create more safe spaces to ensure that millions of children can live their lives to the fullest potential. We are looking for an exceptional philanthropic fundraising leader, with experience of leading an appeal and first-hand programme management skills, to undertake a one year maternity cover as the Interim Head of Child Opportunity Appeal. What will you be doing?
You will be joining Caxton Youth Organisation during an exciting time in our strategy, as we aim to maximise our reach and support the wellbeing of over sixty learning disabled and autistic 11–25-year-olds in Westminster each year, by creating communities, breaking barriers and empowering young people through youth work. You will be central to this, developing a team of youth workers and ensuring our programmes are delivered successfully. As well as maintaining top quality accessible activities, embedding referral and activity partnerships. You will be working directly with young people 1-2 evening sessions a week and on incredible trips around the community.

This is a newly created role, fully remote where you are required to come to London four time a year. Working very closely with a forward-thinking CEO and being part of a newly established Senior Leadership Team (SLT), as the Head of Finance and People, you will be leading a team of Finance and HR professionals to ensure Advice UK's business plan and strategic priorities are achieved.
Salary: £64,000 - £68,000 per annum pro ratad to three days a week plus Regional Weighting (upto £4,454 in London)

- Lead the SLT and key suppliers in developing a business continuity plan that ensures AdviceUK can continue to deliver its strategic objectives and support its members in times of business interruption. Once established ensure it is regularly reviewed and tested.
