About the role

Key duties

The Bridge Youth Project, in partnership with St Paul’s Church, is creating a brand-new role — Third Space Youth Lead — to develop meaningful, faith-rooted connections with young people outside the classroom. Across Salisbury’s schools, something sacred is unfolding. Through the ministry of chaplaincy, young people are not only encountering the Christian story—they’re engaging with it. There is a growing openness, a hunger to go deeper, and in some, a readiness to own and articulate faith. Yet for many, those germinating seeds have nowhere to grow. There’s no natural community to nurture belief, no clear bridge between their experience in school and a life of ongoing discipleship. The result? What should be a comma, sadly becomes a full stop.

This role exists to change that.

The Third Space Youth Lead is a unique partnership between The Bridge Youth Project and St Paul’s Church, Salisbury, bringing together two missional contexts with one unified purpose: to help young people move from curiosity to commitment, and from early encounters with faith into meaningful, sustained discipleship.

Half of this role is embedded at St Paul’s, leading a vibrant and growing youth ministry for young people aged 11–18, offering regular gatherings, discipleship pathways, mentoring, and opportunities for leadership. Scope of the role

Our mission as a charity is to create brighter todays and better tomorrow for the children and families of Noah’s Ark. The Sparkle Fund plays a vital role in the first part of that mission, creating brighter days for inpatient families by delivering our ‘over and above’ service on the wards. The Team Administrator for the British Association of Perinatal Medicine (BAPM), is a varied and vital role in which you will provide administrative support for the Association’s activities, such as supporting the working and steering groups, minute taking, managing the application process, adding events to our website and sending email newsletters.  

As Team Administrator for the BAPM, you will manage the administration for the BAPM endorsement process and run the administration for the student essay competition and the BAPM Awards.

Reporting to the BAPM Chief Executive, you will work as part of a team of five staff members, therefore flexibility of duties and roles will be required. As a crucial member of a small team, it is essential for you to develop and maintain an understanding of perinatal issues in order to appreciate the wider impact of BAPM’s work. Ideally the role is for 35 hours per week but 28 hours per week can be offered for the right candidate.

Educated to a good standard, you should have substantial experience of providing administrative support to a busy team and be capable of prioritising competing demands and delivering to deadlines. With experience of organising online meetings and taking notes, ideally you will have a background in using online forms to collect and present data and be adept at managing a shared email inbox, running webinars and updating websites using a content management system.

An excellent team player with outstanding organisational, communication and customer service skills, you should be self-motivated and have the ability to act in a professional manner and manage sensitive and confidential information.

The ability to undertake occasional travel for BAPM meetings and conferences would be desirable.

The role is home-based with the option of London desk space working if preferred.

You will be responsible for engaging with governance processes around membership, including overseeing changes to membership categories and election of senior member roles, and ensuring that member needs and insights are championed throughout the organisation.

You should bring significant experience of leading membership functions in complex organisations, including expertise in digital service delivery, budget management, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll also need excellent communication skills, sound judgement, and the ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution.

A background in the healthcare sector, knowledge of governance matters, or a professional membership (e.g. CIM) would be advantageous. A formal project management qualification is also desirable.

The RCPCH sets and maintains standards for the education and training of all doctors working in paediatrics and child health in the UK. We advocate on child health issues at home and internationally. As the Head of Development you will shape and drive a new fundraising strategy on the back of the organisation’s 25th birthday and will inspire their team and key internal and external stakeholders to achieve fundraising success. Working closely with the Deputy Director, Director and Board to realise fundraising ambitions, you will provide hands on leadership to maximise income from all areas with a particular focus on philanthropy. You will develop strong relationships with existing funders, sponsors, supporters and other stakeholders to ensure effective and exciting stewardship processes are in place.

The selected candidate will have a proven track record of raising six figure donations through personalised and sophisticated approaches to donors and will have examples of personally leading cultivation and stewardship of major donors. The postholder will be a brilliant relationship fundraiser and will be an effective, inspiring leader.

This role is a full-time permanent position that will have hybrid working in the London offices for three days per week.

Bounce Back workers work with the Herts Mind Network Community Outreach Teams and hospital staff to ensure that patients are offered advice, information and holistic support for smooth, timely and supportive discharge from hospital back in to the community.

About the Project

Herts Mind Network (HMN) has formed a partnership with Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust (HPFT) to deliver a one-to-one outreach service for people who are in psychiatric hospitals across Hertfordshire.

About the Role:

The Bounce Back Worker will be based at Kingfisher Court or Albany Lodge and HMN Centres, promoting joint working between Kingfisher Court staff and HMN, creating a seamless pathway into community support for clients recovering from mental ill health.

The aims of the Bounce Back service are; to provide up to 10 sessions of emotional and practical support, advice and information to patients. We will visit patients on the ward and continue the sessions in the local community and in patient’s homes once discharged. We will facilitate a smooth and timely hospital discharge.

The recovery approach includes empathy, warmth, acceptance, authenticity, compassion and humanity.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive referrals from the ward teams at Kingfisher Court, Albany Lodge and other appropriate hospitals across Hertfordshire.
• Provide practical and emotional support to encourage patients to develop their independence within their local community.
• Facilitate a smooth discharge from hospital back to the community.
• Have a solid understanding on the dual effect of mental health and drugs and alcohol.
• Monitor outcomes and evaluate the service.
• Ensure that the safety and wellbeing of patients using the service is monitored and reviewed regularly.
• Embed a person centred and recovery orientated approach in all aspects of the roles and responsibilities.
