About The Role
We are recruiting for a Senior Participant Experience Manager to join on a part-time basis, working 21 hours per week (0.6 FTE) as part of a job share. This is a fixed-term contract until the end of October 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our successful Events team, co-leading our 7-person Participant Experience team. Working closely with the other Senior Participant Experience Manager, you’ll be jointly responsible for identifying and delivering strategic projects and multi-channel supporter journeys to improve the supporter experience for all events participants, resulting in maximised income, retention and lifetime value.

You and your team will work across the Events team, adding value to our participants’ experience across our full range of products, from sign up to thanking and beyond. You’ll lead the team to drive cross product testing, learning and innovation. You will also maximise the impact of our communications across multiple channels, such as telephone, email, post, SMS, whilst pushing efficiencies by streamlining processes and ways of working across teams.

Working as part of the Events Management team you will contribute to the strategy and direction of the wider Events team.

Interviews for this role have been provisionally scheduled to take place on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th August. We are open to offering different working arrangements for this role, with a view to discussing specific working days with candidates during interviews.

About you
We’re looking for a strategic thinker who has a strong background in stewardship and customer experience with an understanding of the charity sector.

You will able to manage and inspire the team throughout busy and high-pressured events seasons. You’ll have experience of managing people to deliver the best results for the organisation whilst effectively developing team members within their roles. As a job share, strong collaboration and relationship building skills will be vital in this role.

Crucially, you will have a proven track record in developing and managing multichannel supporter journeys from planning to analysis. You will have experience of managing complex projects and will be confident in negotiating with and managing internal and external stakeholders, managing these vital relationships to ensure best practice and the best results for Alzheimer’s Society.

You will be data-savvy, with clear understanding of fundraising and data protection laws and have extensive experience streamlining and improving processes.

What you’ll focus on:

- Co-leading the Participant Experience team, creating a culture of high performance, collaboration and celebration.
- Managing the supporter journey programme from initial contact through to event day and beyond.
- Working across internal teams and with external partners to deliver exceptional supporter experiences for all our event participants.
- Leading innovation and testing around stewardship activities.
- Supporting the Head of Events and collaborating with Senior Managers to implement a new strategy for the Events team.

Delivery Officer (North)

£32,000-£34,000 (dependent on skills and experience) plus generous benefits

To help us with this important mission, we are looking for a Delivery Officer for our North Region (covering Cheshire FA, Cumberland FA, Durham FA, Lancashire FA, Liverpool FA, Manchester FA, North Riding FA, Northumberland FA and Westmorland FA). As a Delivery Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of capital projects across a defined region – including 3G pitches, pavilions, grass pitch improvements, PlayZones and more. You’ll work closely with applicants and colleagues across the Foundation to help turn project ideas into reality, from early pipeline stages to pre-award. 

You’ll provide first-line support to applicants, coordinate project records, and contribute to grant assessments – ensuring each project meets our standards and supports our strategic aims. What can we offer you? 

The salary band for this role is £32,000 - £34,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience.

Your role

To lead on trust fundraising at SeeAbility and to grow and diversify trust and foundation income in line with SeeAbility’s aspirations.

Your responsibilities

• Lead on the development and delivery of a trusts strategy, overseeing the whole trusts portfolio, to generate agreed annual targets for SeeAbility.

Salary: £28,000 - 32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location: Associate Independent Investigating Officers for Complaints primarily work from home. About the role

We are seeking additional experienced Associate Independent Investigating Officers (IO) for Complaints, to increase our capacity to respond to referrals from Local Authorities to provide an independent element to the formal Stage 2 investigations under the Children Act 1989.

The IO will lead investigations, and will give the complainant (who may be a child, young person or adult) the opportunity to express their view, ensure the child or young person’s rights and best interests are at the centre of the investigation and that the investigation/review process is open and transparent. They write a report on the investigation/review, which is submitted to the referring agency.

The Job Description document sets out the expectations for an Associate Independent Person for Complaints (IPC) who is approved by Coram Voice. IPCs are independent, freelance and responsible for their own work. Nevertheless, IPCs are accountable to the organisation for their professional standards and are expected to comply with Coram Voice Code of Ethics and Practice Guidelines.

Please note: the nature of associate work means that we cannot guarantee a regular amount of work, and complaints will be allocated dependent on the associate’s availability, location and the needs and demands of the individual case. Investigation work takes place Monday to Friday within working hours. This position is not suitable for applicants who already work or have commitments more than two days within the working week.

Purpose

The Philanthropy Leads, reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, are responsible for inspiring new prospective, cultivating and stewarding high-value donors into greater involvement with Christians Against Poverty. They aim to draw supporters closer to the work we do, deepening their relationship and support of CAP. Income from CAP¿s major donors is vital for the future expansion of CAP in the UK.

Each Philanthropy Lead may be allocated one or more area of Philanthropy engagement in order to specialise in, but will be expected to support in any area as required. Such areas include:

Along with seeking direct support for the organisation Christians Against Poverty, there is also an expectation for the postholders to support the raising of funds for the wider movement, particularly for local Church frontline partners.

They themselves will be an experienced and confident relationship builder, communicator and fundraiser, cultivating relationships with high-value donors and partners to achieve ambitious targets.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Implementation & Fundraising 
• Implementation of a strategic plan to significantly increase major donor income, with a target of 17.5% of overall revenue within 3 years.
• Implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy for major donor income, aligned with CAP's overall strategic priorities.
• Execution of market research and competitor analysis to identify new funding opportunities and best practice in Philanthropic fundraising.
• Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, in order to identify points of engagement and draft appropriate funding bids.
• Represent CAP at high-level events and conferences to build relationships with potential donors and partners.

Major Donor Development

• Manage a designated caseload of high-net-worth individuals or trusts, cultivating deep and meaningful relationships.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings, personalised communications, and bespoke stewardship plans to cultivate and steward major donors.
• Develop compelling restricted funding projects to attract major donor investment.
• Implement a donor recognition program to acknowledge and celebrate major donor support.

Philanthropy Team Membership

• A member of the Philanthropy Team of our Mission and Movement Directorate.
• Providing peer support and development with other members of the Philanthropy Team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
• Work with the Head of Philanthropy to set ambitious targets and KPIs for the postholder, ensuring they are aligned with overall fundraising goals.
• Ensure the timely submission of funding applications and effective stewardship of grant and donor relationships.
• Implement robust systems and processes for donor relationship management, data analysis, and performance tracking.

Impact & Reporting 

• Ensure that the CRM is updated with engagements, proposal submissions and engagement plans in a timely fashion.
• Develop compelling narratives and impact reports that effectively communicate the impact of major donor support.
• Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of fundraising efforts and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide regular updates on fundraising progress to the Head of Philanthropy.

Innovation & Best Practices 

• Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in major donor fundraising.
• Implement innovative fundraising strategies, such as engaging new philanthropists, digital engagement, corporate engagement and high-impact events.
• Evaluate philanthropy activities with the rest of the team and the Fundraising Insight & Innovation team to develop a deeper understanding of supporters and identify new prospects, making data-informed decisions.
• Champion a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the Philanthropy Team.
• Create opportunities for supporters to engage at a senior level and deepen their relationship with CAP, working with the CEO and other senior staff.

Communications & Campaign Management: 

• Plan philanthropy initiatives that in order to produce excellent bids, proposals, events, and reports, delivered on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with the Brand and Digital Engagement teams to align messaging and campaigns.
• Ensure philanthropy plans align with brand guidelines and fundraising regulations.

Measurable Outputs:

• Implementation of an annual philanthropy plan that contributes to the wider long-term fundraising strategy.
• Deliver assigned agreed annual income targets for philanthropy which may include:
• Major Donor income
• Trusts & foundations income
• Corporate income

Skills required

• A proven fundraiser who can inspire, influence and deliver results
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills, particularly in securing philanthropic support and building partnerships
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent and passionate written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
• Strong financial literacy, including experience managing budgets, tracking performance and forecasting income
• Able to analyse complex situations, identify challenges, and make sound, data-driven decisions
• A high level of emotional intelligence 

 

Essential:

• Proven track record of success in securing significant major gifts (5-6 figures) from high-net-worth individuals.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in high-value fundraising.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of fundraising best practices and regulatory requirements.

Desirable:

• Experience of managing budgets for projects and campaigns.
• Knowledge of fundraising databases and CRM systems and Salesforce in particular.

Educational requirements

• HND level or equivalent experience of critical thinking

Finance Business Partner | Interim | 3 - 6 Months | Up to £340 per day (Umbrella Co) | London | Hybrid

For a charity in central London, we're recruiting an interim Finance Business Partner to join a high-performing finance business partnering team. This role will manage the delivery of robust financial information to stakeholders. The Finance Business Partner will add value to the financial information provided by budget holders via technical analysis and data visualisation. This role will build excellent relationships with various teams within the charity to help them adhere to financial policies and build financial literacy capacity. The role is for 3-6 months and could go permanent for the right candidate.

Main Duties:

• Partner with senior budget holders to enable planning and budget decisions, and produce robust financial reports to inform decision-making
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders and provide expert advice and enable them to be accountable for their budgets
• Communicate analysis of financial plans and proposals and build financial literacy and confidence among budget holders
• Provide financial insights and analysis ensuring actionable insights are provided and use Power BI to improve the quality and value of financial information
