INTERIM FINANCE MANAGER | IMMEDIATE START | LONDON HYBRID

£70,000–£80,000 salary equivalent or £347–£396 per day
London | Hybrid, 2–3 days in the office
⏳ Initial 3-month contract, with potential to extend to 6 months

We’re urgently seeking a hands-on Interim Finance Manager to join an established non-profit organisation and take ownership of its day-to-day finance operations.

This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded, highly organised finance professional who can hit the ground running, keep the numbers right and ensure business-critical financial processes run smoothly.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing accounts payable, invoices, expenses and supplier payment runs

• Ensuring grants and other financial commitments are paid on time

• Owning bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records

• Leading month-end close and preparing management accounts

• Monitoring cash flow and supporting forecasting and budgeting

• Maintaining robust financial controls and documentation

• Liaising with external payroll providers, accountants and other stakeholders

What we’re looking for:
✅ Strong, recent hands-on QuickBooks experience
✅ Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar operational finance role
✅ A self-sufficient, practical approach with the ability to deliver from day one
✅ Excellent attention to detail, integrity and financial discipline
✅ Start-up or fast-growing business experience would be beneficial
✅ Finance systems implementation, migration or optimisation experience would be a plus
✅ Charity, non-profit or grant-funded organisation experience

This is an operational role focused on keeping finance running effectively, working alongside senior leadership while a separate programme of finance transformation is underway.
