Head of Finance – 6-month FTC - Global Non-Profit | Strategic Leadership | International Scope
 

I am delighted to be working with a respected international NGO to find a dynamic Head of Finance – a pivotal leadership role supporting global financial strategy and operations across multiple regions. This is an immediate start, London based hybrid role (4 days per month in the office), on a FTC for an initial 6-months.

The Opportunity:
Reporting into the Finance Director, this role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership of regional and country-level finance teams. You’ll drive performance, strengthen systems, and act as a trusted advisor to both finance and programme leads across the organisation.

Key Focus Areas:

• Strategic financial planning, budgeting & analysis

• Leading multi-country finance teams

• Driving compliance, audit, and internal controls

• Overseeing operational finance (AP, AR, payroll, cashflow)

• Building strong relationships with donors, partners & internal stakeholders

• Enhancing systems, reporting tools, and financial processes

About You:

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)

• Proven track record in financial leadership, ideally in complex, international environments

• Strong people manager with cross-cultural experience

• Adept at balancing strategic thinking with operational delivery

• NGO or donor-funded experience is a strong plus

• Must have the right to work in your current location
