Location: London, Manchester or Duxford (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)
Contract: Fixed-term until December 2026

Are you a natural storyteller who knows how to bring people together through great communication?

We're recruiting on behalf of a nationally recognised organisation for an enthusiastic Internal Communications Officer to join a busy and collaborative communications team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong writing skills, excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating engaging content that keeps colleagues informed, connected and inspired.

You'll play a key role in delivering internal communications across a variety of channels while working with stakeholders from across the organisation to support employee engagement and organisational priorities.

What you'll be doing

• Create engaging content for intranet pages, newsletters, staff updates and internal campaigns.
• Support senior leadership communications and organisation-wide announcements.
• Manage and maintain intranet content, ensuring information is accurate, relevant and up to date.
• Build strong relationships with teams across the organisation to gather stories and promote key initiatives.
• Support the delivery of staff events, briefings, workshops and engagement activities.
• Monitor internal communication channels and respond to enquiries professionally.
• Gather colleague feedback and help shape improvements to internal communications.

What we're looking for

• Experience in internal communications, employee engagement or a similar communications role.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Confidence creating engaging content for digital communication channels.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• A proactive, collaborative approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience using intranet or content management systems would be advantageous.
