MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT | CHARITY SECTOR | £70K | 9-MONTH FTC

I’m partnering with a well-established charitable organisation to recruit a Management Accountant / Charities Accountant for a 9-month fixed-term contract, full-time, starting 1 December.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative finance team, supporting a diverse portfolio of charitable activities and helping ensure funds are managed effectively to maximise their impact.

Based in an impressive Central London building, directly opposite a tube station, with scope to work from home one day per week.

The role will involve:

• Leading on budgeting, forecasting and management reporting across multiple charities.

• Supporting housing operations, grantmaking, investments and capital projects.

• Preparing financial analysis and reports for senior stakeholders and committees.

• Business partnering with non-finance teams to support informed decision-making.

• Driving process improvements, systems development and opportunities for AI and automation.

• Supporting statutory accounts, year-end processes and strong financial controls.

We’re looking for someone with:
✔️ Charity-sector management accounting experience.
✔️ Knowledge of fund accounting, budgeting and financial reporting.
✔️ Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
✔️ A proactive approach to improving processes and financial performance.
✔️ Part-qualified or recently qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA status, ideally, or equivalent relevant experience.

£70,000 per annum

One day per week from home, where agreed
