Recruitment Lead
Harris Hill is looking for a Recruitment Lead on behalf of an ambitious, mission-driven organisation that is helping to level the playing field for young people as they make decisions about their future education and careers. With a global reach and a strong social purpose, the organisation works with thousands of schools, universities and employers and is continuing to grow. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative People team as Recruitment Lead, taking ownership of recruitment across the organisation while contributing to a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture. The role is hybrid (2 days a week working from the office in London).
The post holder will lead the organisation’s Talent Acquisition process end-to-end, from working with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, interview processes and assessment criteria, through to advertising roles, managing the ATS, reviewing applications, coordinating interviews, leading interview panels and managing offers and contracts. You will be a trusted adviser to hiring managers, providing guidance and challenge where needed to ensure recruitment decisions are fair, consistent and focused on skills and capability. You will also lead initiatives to continuously improve the recruitment function, including recruitment guidance, interview best practice, candidate experience and the use of AI in recruitment. Alongside this, you will manage the recruitment inbox, support visa sponsorship processes and work closely with the wider People team on onboarding. The role also includes responsibility for developing and administering employee benefits and providing support with the organisation’s London office.
We are looking for an experienced recruitment professional with strong in-house experience and a genuine passion for delivering excellent, fair and inclusive recruitment processes. You will have experience managing talent acquisition end-to-end, partnering confidently with hiring managers and using an ATS, ideally alongside experience of designing recruitment processes, interview questions and scoring frameworks. You will be an excellent communicator and relationship-builder, with the confidence to coach and challenge colleagues while maintaining strong collaborative relationships. Experience of working within the education sector would be a significant advantage.
