Our client is a well-established, medium-sized organisation in the professional membership sector, known for its commitment to public service and high standards. With a finance team of around nine people, this is a close-knit, collaborative environment where your contribution will be valued and visible.

The Job
We're recruiting for a Management Accountant to support our client's financial operations and strategic planning. This is a varied and impactful role involving the preparation of monthly management accounts, quarterly VAT returns, and active involvement in budgeting and forecasting. You'll also attend meetings with department managers to provide financial insight and support decision-making.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation to be in the Farringdon, London office 1-2 days per week, and the remainder working remotely.

The Person
We're open to applications from both finalists and fully qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). The ideal candidate will have experience in both management accounting and VAT returns, and be confident working with stakeholders across the organisation.

You'll need to be strong in Excel, including the use of pivot tables and VLOOKUPs. While experience in the charity or not-for-profit sector is a bonus, it's not essential-we welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds who bring the right skills and mindset.
