The Community Development & Health Programme Manager is responsible for the ongoing strategic development of the programme area, as well as maintaining oversight of the contracted delivery across its broad but integrated remit.  The Programme Manager also has a responsibility to be visible in the communities we serve locally and to attend meetings, events and community profile raising within and without normal working hours, as needed.

This role leads the operational line management and direction of a multidisciplinary team of Project Managers, Seniors & Development Workers, who are themselves are responsible for designing, fundraising for, delivering & evaluating services and activities which cover the needs of the entire community, across the whole age range to meet identified community needs and with a range of VCSE and statutory partners. 

The aim of these activities, services and events is to deliver support, develop learning, and build VCSE infrastructure, capacity and sustainability to deliver individual and community changes for those facing challenges. These currently include community events; community hub development; youth and family work; emergency and community food provision through community supermarkets, East Sussex and Lewes District Food Partnerships; community capacity building; VCSE infrastructure support; healthy lifestyles activities and community-rooted approaches to addressing health inequalities; access to green, open and blue spaces for health and wellbeing; development of active travel; addressing environmental issues and climate change at a community level. 

This work is achieved through the coordination and development of appropriate partnerships, and initiating and delivering activities and services through community development approaches which are community-rooted and build stronger, healthier and inclusive communities.

With responsibility for bid writing in support of SCDA’s charitably funded activities and services, and collaboration on larger tenders for SCDA community initiatives & services, the post holder will ensure quality of provision and that those projects run to agreed budgets and schedules.

About The Felix Project
The Felix Project is London’s largest food redistribution charity. Our vision is a London where good food is never wasted, and no one goes hungry. We aim to reduce the negative impact food waste has on the environment by working with the food industry to rescue high quality surplus produce, that would otherwise have gone to waste. This food is sorted at one of our four depots or turned into meals in Felix’s Kitchen. Purpose of the Job 

Based in one of our operational warehouses and in the community you will help support Felix’s missions through the development of a network of charities, community groups and other key stakeholders involved supporting vulnerable Londoners across London. Your work will help to build the network’s capacity to accept and distribute food through our depot operations, Green Scheme & Felix Connect and non-food items through Felix’s Multibank. 

The Community Coordinator role will support the depot and operational teams, responding to enquiries from the community network to help ensure the smooth flow of food and non-food items whilst delivering excellent customer service. This will include ensuring recipients of our food are compliant with all relevant legislation and guidance as required by our food partners and food business operators. 

Your work will help us to effectively monitor and evaluate our growth against our strategic objectives through robust data collection, monitoring and updating using our CRM system.

At Ambitious about Autism, we are currently looking for a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Specialist to join our team.

As a PBS Specialist you will be passionate about improving the quality of life for autistic children and young people with additional learning needs. You will provide specialist behavioural assessments and interventions to the children and young people (CYP) in the setting at TreeHouse School. You will be involved in undertaking direct assessment and intervention, and indirect assessment and monitoring with class teams, with a fluid caseload determined and prioritised by the needs of the cohort.

You will also work alongside colleagues, parents, and carers to enable them to better understand behaviours that challenge and teach functional replacements in order to reduce risk and increase access to education and future opportunities. All of your work will be in line with PBS principles and will be person-centred.

We are looking for someone that has:

• Board certified behavioural analyst qualification, or Masters level training in Positive Behaviour Support or equivalent experience
• Skilful in the use of complex methods of functional assessment and intervention
• Has advanced skills in building and maintaining positive relationships with children and young people, professionals and parents/carers

About the role:

Dennis Handfield House is part of the Camden adult pathway and is a 39 bed service for males and females. There is a staff team of 5 Complex Needs Worker, Specialist Complex Needs Worker, Day Concierge and Night Team, we also have a Work and Learnings Worker and Psychotherapist shared across SHP.

This is a high-impact role, designed to support individuals with multiple and complex needs, including mental and physical health challenges, substance use, and a history of offending. You will support and empower our clients as they move from crisis towards stability, independence, and meaningful engagement in the community.

You will play a vital role in helping clients sustain accommodation, access services, and develop the skills and confidence needed to take control of their lives. We are looking for someone who is outgoing and enthusiastic to join our Supporter Care team, who will carry out essential supporter engagement and administrative activities associated with marketing campaigns, donations, fundraising events and requests for materials. With previous experience of providing excellent customer service, you will have the ability and confidence to communicate with a variety of people, engaging with supporters by phone, email and in writing about a wide range of enquiries.

The Supporter Care team at Alzheimer’s Research UK is often the first point of contact in the charity for supporters, potential donors and members of the public. The Supporter Care Administrator works alongside five other team Executives handling supporter enquiries, processing donations, and thanking supporters to ensure an excellent standard of customer care and to generate the maximum amount of income for dementia research. This role reports to the Senior Supporter Care Officer (SSCO) and ensures that the team successfully deliver an efficient and a first-class supporter experience for the charity.

This role will be known internally as Supporter Care Executive.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Supporter engagement

· Answering inbound telephone calls; responding to a wide range of enquiries including marketing campaigns, donations, fundraising events and requests for materials.

· Managing email enquiries, either by responding or forwarding as necessary.

· Responding to written enquiries received in the post.

· Making outbound telephone calls in order to increase the value of, or to retain supporters; including thanking, obtaining Gift Aid declarations and reactivating lapsed donors.

· Recording feedback received by the charity and assisting in the resolution of complaints.

· Champion high quality supporter care, ensuring that all supporters and members of the public have an excellent experience when contacting the charity.

Donation processing, database and general administration

· Processing donations from telephone calls and mailings, acknowledging supporters appropriately.

· In Memoriam giving; sending out materials, processing donations and sending appropriate acknowledgements to donors, Funeral Directors, and the Next of Kin.

· Regular giving; processing new Direct Debit instructions and Standing Order payments, amending and cancelling gifts as necessary.

· Processing and thanking donations relating to regional fundraising and sporting events.

· Ensuring the integrity of the database (currently Salesforce), by amending supporter details as necessary.

· Opening and batching incoming post.

· Updating team procedures as required.

· Archiving, scanning and filing documents.

Other duties

· To take personal responsibility for ensuring a good working knowledge of Alzheimer’s Research UK when communicating with supporters. This will require attendance at marketing campaign briefings and other staff presentations and continuously building knowledge by taking the time to read daily news summaries, press releases and the staff intranet.

· To recognise fundraising, engagement and retention opportunities when communicating with supporters using a range of initiatives to explain how donations positively contribute towards the cause.

· To actively and enthusiastically promote supporter care at Alzheimer’s Research UK and be willing to take part in various initiatives to help maintain this such as department updates and trainings and being involved in inducting new starters to Alzheimer’s Research UK on the work of the Supporter Care team.

Keswick Town Council, acting as Fitz Park Trust, has recently announced plans to launch a fundraising campaign to support the creation of a brand-new, inclusive play area in Fitz Park, Keswick. The new play area will offer a modern, safe, and fun environment for children of all ages and abilities to engage in physical activity, imaginative play, and outdoor exploration.

Role Overview:
As a Fundraiser, you will play a key role in driving the success of our fundraising efforts. You will be responsible for developing and executing fundraising campaigns, engaging with existing and potential donors, and ensuring we meet our financial targets for the duration of the contract.

The Role:

As a member of the Work Experience team, you will play a key role in facilitating meaningful work experience placements for young people in Tower Hamlets. In this role, you'll work closely with local employers in Tower Hamlets and the City of London to support them in delivering engaging placements.

Responsibilities will include actively recruiting and onboarding new employers through phone calls, online meetings and carrying out on-site health and safety checks. In addition, you’ll support the Work Experience Manager in delivering school-based sessions, such as assemblies and Q&A drop-ins, to help prepare young people for their placements. You’ll also assist in coordinating placements at The Switch by creating schedules and supporting young people with their tasks. During delivery weeks, the team is responsible for providing responsive support to employers and schools. In case of any issues, you may be required to work from the office five days per week during these periods.

· Working hours are typically 9am – 5pm Monday – Thursday, and 9am – 4pm Fridays
