Working closely with the Philanthropy & Engagement, Communications, and Programmes team, you will support the research, logistics, and administration required to connect and engage our supporters, prospective funders, conservation partners, allied organisations and wider networks. Through this essential role, you will help to raise Synchronicity Earth’s profile, influence funding practices in the environmental sector and champion the voices and perspectives of marginalised and underrepresented people in global conservation forums.

Could you use your communication skills to help St Mungo’s inform, involve and inspire our colleagues?

We are looking for someone to join the St Mungo’s People, Culture and Inclusion team as a Senior Internal Communications Officer. You will work closely with the Head of Internal Communications, and Internal Communications Officer to develop and deliver clear, consistent communications that inform and engage colleagues.

In the role of Senior Internal Communications Officer you will produce content for a range of communication channels, alongside other key responsibilities:

• Leading the day-to-day management and longer term improvements of our intranet, ensuring it is easy for colleagues to find the information they need to continue doing.  
• Play a key role in managing our regular webinars and events for colleagues, and have opportunities to lead on communications campaigns and projects.

We are looking for a creative individual with excellent communication skills who can demonstrate their experience of working in a communications role, ideally for an internal audience.  

• You will have experience of creating compelling and accessible communications in different formats for a range of offline and offline channels.
• You will have an interest in working with others, and able to build positive relationships with colleagues including senior stakeholders.
• You will have hands-on experience of managing and developing intranets or websites, and be confident coordinating and managing both online and offline events.

Main Duties

• Develop and implement the global philanthropy strategy as part of the overall fundraising strategy, liaising with senior leadership, programme leads, communications and finance to ensure ClientEarth can maximise the potential income from major donors.
• Develop, implement and achieve relevant KPIs and financial targets for the philanthropy team and lead on the production of appropriate reports for senior management and the board of trustees.
• Using the strategy (organisational and fundraising) the Head of Philanthropy will personally manage and support senior staff on holding income-yielding high-level relationships.
• Manage relationships and drive strategy relating to our senior stakeholders such as the Development Board, Chair of the Board and act as a key facilitator and steward of relationships between foundation staff and key programme contacts.

A senior member of the high-performing Trusts & Philanthropy team, you will be responsible for routinely raising significant revenue and capital funds from major donors. This key role will focus on working with prospects and donors with the motivation and capacity to invest in Maggie’s growth and will prioritise transformational gifts which can support our accelerated growth. curiosity and a love of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) in
young people across the East of England.

Job Description
This role is central to positioning CSC as the leading small-to-medium-sized science
centre and STEM engagement organisation in the UK. Working with the CEO and
Directors, you will help identify opportunities, shape CSC’s marketing strategy, and
translate that into an objective-led plan of action. You will be responsible for all CSC

key audiences, including the public, community groups, teachers and school leaders,

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a lively, dynamic and driven fundraising events team. Over the last decade, Breast Cancer Now has built up a strong events function, with community fundraising and events currently accounting for nearly a quarter of the charity’s overall voluntary income.

Due to internal promotions, we’re now looking for 2 new events officers to play a key role within the team. Managing the delivery of our varied portfolio of challenge events, currently comprising of running, cycling, swimming and trekking challenges and engagement events such as our Carols by Candlelight, supporter focussed events and key internal events too. You’ll be a supporter for hundreds of fundraisers, acting as a point of contact and an ambassador for the organisation to excite and retain our supporters.

We’re looking for an individual with excellent attention to detail and a passion for charity fundraising. An understanding of and experience with administrative tasks as well as event logistics and working in a fast-paced environment is desirable.

You’ll be a key point of contact with hundreds of our supporters and staff, many of whom will be in touch via email, phone or social media, so an understanding of using these channels and delivering customer service, particularly in the charity sector, is preferable. You should also have a demonstrable ability to work to deadlines and have experience working as part of a team.

Role Description

The Media and Communications Manager, reporting into the Head of Communications, is responsible for the creation and delivery of PAGB's external, member and internal communications, overseeing media relations and the PAGB brand.

Overall accountability

• To effectively manage all content on PAGB website and microsites
• To effectively manage the PAGB brand and visual identity
• To organise, co-ordinate and support PAGB events
• To manage all aspects of PAGB’s media relations
• To be the first point of contact for all media enquiries
• To effectively market PAGB services, events and training
• To create, manage and oversee creation of PAGB newsletters

Key areas of responsibility include:

Website and digital communications

• Managing the PAGB website to ensure it is regularly updated with relevant information and content is optimised for search and user experience
• Proactively managing website on on-going basis to ensure that it is up to date and actively liaising with PAGB teams to gather information to update as needed
• Managing relationships with PAGB’s website developers to ensure ongoing maintenance, updates and technical support are delivered effectively
• Managing relationships with PAGB’s IT suppliers over domain name and security certificate renewals as required
• Managing the Health and Food Supplements Information Service (HSIS) website
• Managing website and communications data analytics and analysis

Marketing communications

• Marketing communications to promote PAGB’s services, events, and training to members and non-members using appropriate channels
• Developing and supporting communications via various media e.g. social media, podcasts and video
• Working with external agencies to deliver engaging videos and graphics to demonstrate PAGB’s impact in key areas
• Managing PAGB’s partnership with the OTC Marketing Awards and other external partners

• Developing and delivering the media aspects of PAGB campaigns to promote self-care and amplify PAGB policy priorities and key messages

Brand and design

• Responsible for PAGB’s corporate branding, ensuring correct and consistent use
• Maintaining PAGB brand guidelines and document templates
• Using Photoshop and Canva to undertake basic design tasks inhouse
• Managing relationships with external designers and oversee design and production of corporate publications and documents

Internal Communications

• Responsible for creating and generating content for internal staff newsletter
• Supporting monthly internal communications meetings
• Collaborating with other departments on internal changes, employee initiatives, and sharing company updates

General

• Contributing to the development and delivery of PAGB’s strategy, plans and activity
• Reporting monthly on activity and results to inform regular member value communications
• Ensuring work is produced in line with PAGB tone and brand guidelines
• Staying up to date with new developments and best practice in the media and public affairs fields
• Any other reasonable requests from your line manager or management team
• Occasionally respond to urgent media enquiries outside of normal working hours, where required

As our Digital Communications Manager, you will:

• manage a programme to develop and refresh our digital communications channels so that they meet the needs of our audiences with the best possible user experience and accessibility
• work closely with stakeholders in managing this programme, overseeing budgets, issues and risks; internally, this will include chairing our cross-organisational Digital Communications Operations Group; externally, this will include managing our relationships with the agencies that provide our platforms

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Head of Fundraising (Philanthropy and Partnerships) is a senior, hands-on role responsible for developing high-value fundraising to complement the Charity’s successful community fundraising and events programme. JOB DESCRIPTION 

We are seeking a Head of Partnerships & Events to join our highly successful Philanthropy team. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Fundraising & Communications to develop and enhance our Corporate and Special Events Programme. This is very much a hands-on role of team leadership and direct account management. This includes six figure partners and our key relationships with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, The Dorchester Hotel and international insurer Fidelis. Special Events include our Winter Ball which raises over £500k annual and our Golf Day at around £100k. The post-holder has a key role in the management of our Philanthropy & Corporate Board, which bring together industry leader to help move both these programmes forward. There is great freedom to innovate and a healthy pool of local business with an affinity to our cause. The post-holder takes a key leadership role across fundraising and marketing, working with their peers (Heads) and Director to take strategic decisions for wider benefit of the department. Having invested in the team’s capacity, we aim to grow income from c. £1.5m to £2m over the next few years. This in the broader context of a total voluntary income target for the charity of £5m-£6m.

The Head of Partnerships & Events leads a team of two currently, although this may increase. We have a Corporate Manager and Events Manger with support from the Philanthropy Officer.  You will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective partners of Noah’s Ark. You will ensure our partners have the best possible experience, making them feel engaged and motivated, valued and informed about the impact of their involvement and help them achieve their organisation’s objectives.

We are seeking a committed and motivated Head of Fundraising to deliver the OCT’s ambitious fundraising requirements. This is a vital role for the Ocean Conservation Trust (OCT) leading on the development and delivery of the full spectrum of fundraising activities to support our mission. The post holder will be a key contributory member of the Senior Management Team. 

The OCT has ambitious fundraising requirements. In addition to the funds raised through the National Marine Aquarium (NMA), the OCT needs a more diverse income stream to drive its core programmes, through the development of appropriate corporate, philanthropic and donation initiatives.

The post holder will need to understand the core programmes and develop appropriate schemes and campaigns to build a wide support network to secure a lasting pipeline of donations. They will need to be entrepreneurial, self-motivated, team focussed, comfortable liaising across the organisation to ensure integration with activities such as communication, research, membership, publications, partnerships and data and information services among others. They must own income targets and lead income growth, thinking in terms of pipelines, ROI, KPIs and lifetime value. In addition, they will be key to maximising use of the customer relationship management (CRM) system.

Overall, this role will be fundamental in developing the OCT as the leading Ocean conservation charity in the UK, generating significant new and diverse revenue streams to drive the Charity’s ambition.  They must be capable of moving OCT beyond NMA visitor income, building a resilient, mixed portfolio.

You will lead a team of 3 staff members and be accountable for achieving specific funding goals to deliver our strategic plans. The post is based at the National Marine Aquarium, Plymouth, UK. Flexible working arrangements include 3 days office/2 days home.
