We're looking for an individual with extensive data strategy and leadership experience to join us as our Head of Data and Analysis here at Save the Children UK. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team and embed a data-driven, supporter-centric culture that drives income growth, supporter engagement and impact as we enter a period of transformation.
Note: This role is a 12-month maternity cover contract to start in January/February 2026.

About the role
As Head of Data and Analysis, you will play a vital role in transforming how data and insights drive strategic decisions across our Public Impact division. You'll lead the development and delivery of a forward-looking data strategy, enabling agile, insight-led campaign planning and supporter engagement. You'll also play a key role in leading the team through technological and cultural change, championing collaboration and capability-building across multidisciplinary teams.
Joining our Public Impact Division and reporting to the Director of Public Income & Engagement, you’ll be leading Data and Analysis teams who are passionate about harnessing the power of data to deepen supporter engagement, increase income, and deliver relevant, impactful experiences.
In this role you will:
- Lead and implement a transformational data strategy that elevates the role of insight across marketing, engagement, and fundraising activities.

About you
With a proven track record of successfully guiding teams through transformation, you'll have a strong background in data strategy and leadership with a passion for unlocking the power of data to drive income and engagement.
You'll have:
- A strong track record of leadership in data, insight, and analytics roles within complex or matrixed organisations.
- Experience successfully leading teams and departments through transformation or change programmes.
- A deep understanding of data strategy, marketing technology ecosystems, supporter lifecycle engagement, and performance measurement.
- Strong understanding of analytics methodologies and approaches, including digital analytics.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable insight for diverse audiences and to drive cultural change.

Location & Ways of Working:

Job Purpose
The Operations Officer will support the efficient running of the Trust’s operations, working closely with the Head of Operations and wider team. The role involves supporting HR, IT, governance, and compliance functions, and maintaining effective systems and processes. The postholder will also liaise with trustees and volunteers and contribute to organisational development.
Key Responsibilities

Support office facilities and supplier coordination (office supply maintenance, postal services, IT, HR)

Assist in maintaining and improving internal systems including document management.

Support compliance with Data Protection, Health & Safety, and HR policies.

Help maintain operational records and business continuity documentation.

Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training logistics, welfare initiatives and HR record-keeping.

Provide administrative support for meetings, including occasional minute-taking.

Liaise with volunteers and u3a members to support operational projects.

Contribute to the coordination of events such as the AGM and trustee elections.

The postholder will oversee the full programme cycle — from referral and assessment through to delivery, evaluation, and progression — ensuring all work is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and aligned with Sister System’s mission and OCN accreditation standards. Acting as the central link between the leadership team and delivery staff, the Head of Programmes will manage and develop a high-performing team, maintain quality assurance across all programme stages, and foster strong partnerships with schools, local authorities, and community organisations to drive measurable impact and long-term systemic change.

Key Responsibilities
Programme Leadership and Delivery

Lead the design, coordination, and delivery of all Sister System programmes, services, and activities in line with organisational aims and funder requirements.

Oversee programme planning, scheduling, and annual mapping to ensure smooth delivery and strategic alignment across all three stages (Enable, Enhance, Empower).

Leading UK drug education charity the DSM Foundation is recruiting a Head of Business and Organisational Development to join their senior management team. This role involves working with the Director and Board of Trustees to provide strategic leadership to the DSMF team on all aspects of organisational and business development with a long-term income growth strategy, and alongside the Head of Operations and Head of Education and Engagement, to ensure that DSMF is a well-managed and successful charity with a clear strategic vision.
Suitable candidates will:
- Be passionate about supporting young people to make safer choices about drugs and alcohol.
- Have experience of strategy development and delivery, business and work stream development and income generation.
- Have a deep understanding of finance and market conditions.
- Be experienced in managing projects and performance.
- Be skilled in organisational development and people management.
Key information:
The Daniel Spargo-Mabbs Foundation is a drug and alcohol education charity, founded by Fiona and Tim Spargo-Mabbs in 2014 in response to the death of their 16-year-old son Dan having taken ecstasy. The charity aims to support young people to make safe choices and reduce harm, through increasing their understanding of the effects and risks of drugs and alcohol, and improving their life skills & resilience. They work with young people, parents, teachers and professionals, in schools, colleges and communities across the UK.
This role will be primarily based in the DSMF office with some opportunities for remote working.
