About the role
We’re recruiting a Head of Strategic Communications and Planning to lead WWF-UK’s external communications strategy and ensure our voice is trusted, influential and impactful to help bring our world back to life.
In this role, you’ll shape and deliver a clear, coherent communications narrative that supports WWF-UK’s mission, fundraising, advocacy and partnerships. Taking a supporter-first, insight-led approach, you’ll ensure our priority moments are planned and delivered through integrated, high-impact activity across channels and platforms.
You’ll provide senior leadership across the organisation, setting strategic direction, enabling effective ways of working and developing a high-performing team with the skills and confidence to deliver at pace. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, internal teams, agencies and partners to ensure communications activity is aligned, agile and focused on impact.

• Significant experience leading large-scale, integrated communications strategies and campaigns across multiple channels and audiences

About the role
We’re excited to be recruiting a Head of Journeys and Personalisation to lead the design and optimisation of full lifecycle digitally-enabled journeys and personalised supporter experiences at WWF-UK.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for shaping how supporters experience WWF-UK across their full lifecycle, ensuring journeys are relevant, engaging and aligned to both supporter needs and organisational priorities. You’ll lead and develop an existing email team that will, over time, evolve our journeys and personalisation capabilities and play a key role in a new Supporter Experience Directorate.

Do you want to use your skills to make it possible for people with myeloma to live longer and better lives? We are looking for someone with experience of delivering high quality supporter journeys and delivering fundraising projects and activities to join our Legacy & In Memory Giving team. Helping to grow income and supporting and delivering the Legacy & In Memory Giving fundraising strategy.
You will have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills with good attention to detail and be able to follow procedures accurately. Being successful in building effective relationships, self-motivated with the ability to manage a wide range of tasks under pressure and committed to making a difference is essential.
Previous experience of working in a cancer or healthcare charity, talking to bereaved and vulnerable supporters and using Raiser’s Edge or a similar CRM system would be an advantage but not essential.
About the role
The Legacy & In Memory Giving Fundraiser will help support and deliver the Legacy and In Memory Giving fundraising strategy. You will have compassionate communication skills, especially when talking to supporters who are recently bereaved and you will develop and deliver outstanding stewardship programmes that offer support and drive retention.
This role requires using data and insight to help deliver the Legacy marketing programme, whilst also supporting the day-to-day Legacy and estate administration, dealing with solicitors, legal representatives and executors. You will proactively develop In Memory Giving fundraising, maximising the fundraising products, channels and messaging already available, as well as identifying new opportunities that are suitable for the Legacy & In Memory audience.
The role will also include working with colleagues, maximising cross team collaboration and ensuring appropriate Legacy and In Memory stewardship across all fundraising specialisms.

The Reconciling Leaders Network (RLN) has a vision for the church to be a reconciling presence in conflict and communities, with a purpose to mobilise a generation of reconcilers, pursuing a just and flourishing world. RLN works across the Anglican Communion and ecumenically, supporting a ministry of peacebuilding and reconciliation, with a small and agile team (currently six team members).
Reconciling Leaders Network (RLN) has developed Difference, growing a cohort of global champions and a network of leaders focusing on reconciliation as a mission.
Difference (difference.rln.global) aims to encourage, support and mobilise a generation to live out their calling as peacemakers and reconcilers, pursuing a just flourishing world. This role will seek to deliver significant growth and engagement of Difference.
What you'll be doing
The Head of Communications and Partnerships (for Reconciling Leaders Network) will lead RLN's communications, marketing, and digital engagement strategy, ensuring our message is clear, compelling, and consistent across all channels, extending the reach and engagement of Difference. This role is central to shaping how RLN and Difference are experienced by audiences in the UK and globally.
The successful candidate will bring understanding of the reconciliation and peacebuilding sector, as well as the geo-political and church contexts in which RLN operates. They will be a strategic thinker, a skilled marketeer, theologically astute and a relationship builder who is committed to equity, diversity, inclusion and justice, and brings cultural sensitivity to their work and leadership.
The post holder will support the bold objectives for this reconciliation ministry. They will have budgetary and line-management responsibilities and work with external agencies and freelancers to deliver outcomes.

Key role requirements

- Develop and deliver RLN's communications strategy in alignment with organisational goals.

- Create and implement campaigns and tactics, working with all forms of media, to grow a network of reconcilers, extending the reach and engagement with Difference and RLN initiatives.
- Strategically contribute to the sustainability of RLN & Difference through fundraising efforts and income generation.
- Oversee the user journey and experience across all channels (website, resource hub, social media, emails etc.), ensuring they are optimised and effective.
