You will be part of the Help for Heroes Community Fundraising Team, who work together to build support in the community to secure donations and build long time partnerships with community organisations / supporters and volunteers to deliver the annual community fundraising budget year on year. You will report to the National Senior Fundraising Manager and work collaboratively across the charity to drive income to support our veterans and their families.

Joining our Information & Support Team at an exciting time of growth in this new role, you'll provide crucial operational management for Marie Curie's Peer Support Services - our telephone companion and bereavement services. About the Role
As Senior Stewardship and Events Manager, you will be leading on the creation of ambitious funding propositions which will be attractive to high value donors and funders, working with key stakeholders from across the organisation to fully understand our existing services and transformational projects; translating complex information into compelling cases for support to be used by our High Value Partnerships team in funding applications, pitches and proposals. You will work closely with Recovery Services, Data and Insights and Finance teams to ensure all relevant information is gathered and reporting and evaluation processes are in place.
Working with your team and the wider High Value Partnerships team you will develop a special events programme to support engagement and fundraising, as well as leading on the development of developing engaging and relevant donor and prospect communications. SUDEP Action is the only UK charity focused on preventing epilepsy-related deaths. We have the only epilepsy bereavement service freely available to anyone suddenly bereaved by epilepsy (including SUDEP). Much of the charity’s income comes from our motivated and passionate supporters, so this role is a key part of income generation. The successful candidate will be able to build on current processes and successes to grow our engagement across all fundraising activities, platforms and campaigns. Experience of bid/grant writing would be desirable.

About the role
This is a new role for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity as we look to expand our successful Individual Giving & Lottery programmes.
The post holder will deliver quality fundraising campaigns, including Cash Appeals, Regular Giving and Lottery that will grow income, supporter base and lifetime value. Putting supporters at the heart of the Charity’s work, the role includes acquisition, retention and stewardship of individual donors and lottery players to achieve a sustainable increase in income for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Retention
- Administer the recruitment process by placing job adverts into the template on Canva, removing expired job adverts from the THET website; downloading applications; setting up interviews
- Update staff induction materials
- Update the Organisational Organogram on a monthly basis
- Update staff profiles on the THET website
- Maintain internal HR email/In-box
- Ensure new starters are added to the relevant induction meetings and staff meetings
Development & Performance
- Provide induction and refresher training to staff and volunteers on international travel

Policies and procedures
- Follow THET policies and procedures, flagging any issues arising
- Update control sheet for policy review dates and maintain version control numbers for policies and forms
Administration
- Provide administrative support to the CEO and SMT
- Update and maintain the Activ absence system: – Create user accounts for new staff/ archive leavers; monitor staff absences
- Administer travel arrangements within the UK and overseas for senior managers
- Oversee and improve standard operating procedures and forms
- Support the HR & Operations Manager with administration of new and current consultants, volunteers, and interns (recruitment, contract reviews, induction, and compliance training schedules)
Operational Support
- Coordinate the procurement process for items and services including approvals, advertising, tender process, preferred supplier contracts, communication to parties
- Undertake office management tasks including responding to THET mail/ calls; arranging and servicing office meetings; maintaining email distribution lists and email accounts
- Facilitate the purchasing of staff IT and other work equipment in line with budget
- Activate email accounts; coordinate laptops for new staff/leavers; open and close IT accounts for starters, and deactivate these for leavers
- Act as the main point of contact for the outsourced IT supplier.
Health and wellbeing
- Prompt Country Directors to ensure Country risk registers are up-to-date and evacuation/hibernation plans exist

We're looking for an IT Project Manager to join our Data and IT team. The IT Project Manager will oversee the planning, implementation and tracking of assigned IT projects within the charity. Can you harness the power of stories to improve life for people with dementia and those around them?
Our magazine, Dementia together, helps people affected by dementia to feel less isolated and better able to make decisions. We also inspire readers and listeners to be a force for change by campaigning, fundraising and more – people act on the real-life stories and ideas that we share.
You’ll work with the Magazine Editor to plan and create content that reflects the full range of people’s experiences of dementia, being true to their voices while also fulfilling the Society’s aims. You’ll speak with a great range of people in this role – people with a dementia diagnosis, their carers, friends and relatives, supporters, volunteers, activists, researchers, and colleagues across our teams as well as representatives from other organisations.
You’ll help make content available online and elsewhere, producing a podcast and enabling colleagues to draw on our content and material in other ways too.
We never stop improving what we do and how we do it. One example is our focus on finding new ways to involve people with lived experience of dementia in planning and creating content.
