This role will play a crucial role in providing excellent supporter care and stewardship, being the first point of contact for supporters and ensuring that their interactions are positive and memorable.
As a part of this role, you will oversee tasks such as donation processing, acknowledgement of donations and gift aid, including creating thank you letters and recording information and interactions with donors accurately on the fundraising database. You will also manage and maintain relationships with external stakeholders monitoring their performance through KPIs and SLAs. As an excellent Customer Services and Central Admin Officer, you will need:
- Strong income processing knowledge and experience
- Track record of providing excellent and outstanding customer service to donors

As the Individual Giving Manager - Supporter Retention & Development, you will play a pivotal role in the Individual Giving team. You will be responsible for the development and delivery of multi-channel (online and offline) activity and campaigns for Supporter Retention & Development including conversion, upgrade, reactivation, cross-selling, cash appeals & in memory income. You will lead on building the Supporter Retention & Development programme, focusing on growing income, the supporter base and improved engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proven experience of Individual Giving / Direct Marketing within a multi-channel, multi-discipline environment to deliver significant returns and supporter satisfaction, especially through supporter retention & development programmes
- Understanding of the effective development and use of supporter contact strategies, turning analysis and insight into high performance actions
- Strong project-management experience, including managing budgets, schedules, creative development, and supplier relationships for fundraising direct marketing campaigns
- Experience of Individual Giving retention and acquisition programmes

Harris Hill has an opening for an experienced Individual Giving Manager to join a health related charity for 3 months, but potentially longer to cover recruitment period.
Following the completion of a 5 year plan, the organisation has decided to invest in Individual Giving as it has been noted there is lots of room for improvement, one of which is dividing the team into separate retention and acquisitions teams. This will focus on the retention side. They will be recruiting permanently but need someone quite experienced to get the ball rolling on an interim basis.
As an IG Manager, you will be required to hit the ground running but also be quite hands on, ready to roll your sleeves up when needed. The role is hybrid based with one day per week in the office. They have two offices. One in central and the other in south London which could work well for someone commuting in from the Surrey and the south.
The client is willing to offer a daily rate on a PAYE basis of £164-200 per day, plus holiday pay, which would be payrolled via the agency. You could choose an umbrella company if you wish.

Harris Hill is looking for an interim Fundraising Assistant to support a national charity for 2 to 3 months on remote of hybrid basis, starting May 2024.
The role is full time but could be 30 hours per week. You can work remotely outside of London or hybrid inside London, supporting their mass participation team.
Key tasks and duties
Communicate with supporters on the telephone, offer tips for their fundraising, get to know them and build rapport.
Update records on our fundraising database.
Place orders for fundraising materials.
Respond to supporter queries via email and social media.
Any other duties that are within the scope and remit of the role and as agreed with your manager.
Ideally, you would have previous experience of working in a fundraising team, supporter care, or similar, happy to work predominantly on the phone, liaising with supporters.
