Spectra are looking for an experienced Therapeutic Services Manager and Clinical Lead to lead, develop, coordinate, and represent Spectra’s counselling services internally and externally at Senior Management level. You will ensure delivery of consistent, high-quality counselling across all of Spectra’s teams (Young People, Sexual health, Trans and Non-binary (TNB) people), supporting and empowering our service users, whilst ensuring clinical work is carried out in accordance with ethical guidelines and Spectra’s protocols.  You will also conduct some clinical assessments and provide some weekly 1-to-1 counselling/group therapy sessions.

You will be confident working with diverse and intersectional groups who face social exclusion and inequalities around access to appropriate health care, wellbeing and holistic support. You will be able unequivocally to respect, support, promote and work within LGBTQ+ and other diverse communities.

£42,000 - £45,000 FTE per annum according to experience, pro rata for 4 days per week (£33,600 to £36,000). Hybrid working (office in Ladbroke Grove) with 25 days holiday and bank holidays (pro rata), plus a pension scheme. 

You will have experience of delivering individual and group therapeutic/counselling interventions in-person and identify under the broad umbrella of LGBTQ+ yourself (Spectra operates as a peer led model). You will have a strong understanding of the mental health support needs of LGBTQ+ young people and be confident in engaging with young people in a supportive, affirmative, and non-judgemental way.

You will support the service with high quality, consistent delivery to young people with our partners at P3. You will be part of a wider team of counsellors at Spectra who deliver across different client groups, in a supportive environment. 

Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 (35 hours FTE) depending on experience

As a Health Advocate, you will organise our women’s group sessions, a space for women to connect and learn more about their health. Funded by a diverse range of sources including the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS), NHS, and other partners, we deliver expert guidance and practical solutions to help clients manage and reduce their debt. Would you like to help send donated medicines around the world to those who do not have access to live-saving medicines? IHP is recruiting a Logistics Officer to become part of our growing logistics team who coordinate the safe and responsible donation of medical products to where the needs are greatest, so that people don’t suffer needlessly from treatable illnesses.

As a Logistics Officer you will play an integral role in IHP’s work arranging the shipping of donated medicines and medical supplies, for example our essential health packs and antibiotics, ensuring their secure transportation to diaster hit and vulnerable communities such as Sudan and Gaza.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the TCV Sussex team to expand and develop our Health Walks offer as part of our new Green Gateways social prescribing project.
The successful candidate is likely to have previous experience of managing volunteers, delivering training and have knowledge of social prescribing or public health. For more information please see TCV website. 
East Sussex Health Walks is a long running county-wide scheme of weekly one hour walks led by trained community volunteers. Last year we had nearly 20,000 walking engagements and we want to build on this. This post is for a Health Walk Coordinator to coordinate and develop the programme to help even more people to improve their health and wellbeing with regular, manageable exercise.

You will be coordinating the existing programme of Health Walks (approximately 25 per week) and managing the large group of Volunteer Health Walk Leaders (currently about 100). You will be responsible for recruiting and training new volunteers and developing new Health Walks to meet the funder's targets, including liaising with local partners, mapping, risk assessing and planning.

There will be ongoing marketing and publicity needs, as well as regular internal comms with volunteers to make sure they feel supported and valued and to reinforce and role model TCV best practise for safe, inclusive and supportive activities.
You will also be responsible for general project running tasks such as purchasing, scheme admin, report writing, attending events, liaising with funders & partners, meeting targets and deadlines.
Experience required/desirable:

- Managing, supporting & recruiting volunteers
- Delivering training
- Health & wellbeing projects / public health / social prescribing

The post is currently funded until October 2025. It is full-time (35 hours per week) and based in the TCV office in Hastings but covers the whole county. We have an exciting 18-month fixed term opportunity to join British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) Health Partnerships & Community Resuscitation Team to deliver partnerships which make a lifesaving, life improving impact.

Through our work we want to reach more people, in new ways, with greater impact, involving more people in their heart and circulatory health and care, and in the work of BHF. This will improve health outcomes and help ensure that BHF strengthens its position as the nation’s heart charity.

About the role

In this role you’ll contribute to the operational delivery of innovative health partnerships for BHF. These partnerships help us to reach, on a mass scale, people at risk or living with heart and circulatory diseases; working with large corporate organisations, other charities, and community groups to provide information, support and skills in innovative ways to improve health awareness, support self-management and reduce health inequalities.

As part of the Health Partnerships team, you’ll support several health partners, delivering agreed activity and maximising the opportunity to reach their workforce and customers with our free health initiatives.

You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues across BHF particularly in our Medical and Marketing, Fundraising and Engagement teams, as well as external partners to meet agreed aims and objectives. You’ll also work closely with other delivery teams (e.g. Clinical Support, Health Content, Community Resuscitation and Customer Service Teams) to create an integrated and seamless customer experience for your partners.

Prospectus are delighted to be supporting the Sussex voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) Leaders Alliance (SVLA) in developing a new team to work on behalf of the VCSE with health and care partners across Sussex. There are three Health and Care Programme Manager roles part time roles (0.6 fte) with roles based in West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and East Sussex. The roles require hybrid working, with the flexibility of office, home and some travel.

These new and exciting leadership opportunities in the VCSE sector in Sussex will develop the sectors strategic role as a partner in the emerging health and care integrated structures to reduce health inequalities and improve population health for people living in Sussex.

The postholders will work closely alongside the VCSE within their dedicated places and as a team with the Sussex Strategic Lead to develop and enable strong relationships to support the VCSE in its preparation and response to the developing strategic commissioning approaches in the health and care sector. Recognising the breadth of the VCSE sector, the multiple funding arrangements and the introduction of the new structures, the postholders will enable collaborative working between NHS, Sussex with the range of VCSE providers at neighbourhood, place and system level.

The postholders will work with the SVLA Chair, team and VCSE members, to develop its strategic ambition, structure and relationship with the Sussex Health and Care system.  The work will include developing health and care partners understanding of the local VCSE eco system and developing and embedding the principles of co-design, co-production, and strategic commissioning within the commissioning and funding cycle that will drive improved population health outcomes for the integrated care system. 

The successful candidates will be strategic thinkers with strong leadership experience and understanding of the needs, complexities and challenges faced by the VCSE sector, NHS and local government partners. they will have excellent knowledge and understanding of the strategic national and local context and key drivers across the breadth of local health and care structures, bringing significant experience and understanding of strategic commissioning and the range of funding models and mechanisms to the team and be comfortable working in an environment of transformational change.

They will also hold a track record in engaging, influencing, and securing shared ownership to enable a collaborative vision to be realised along with experience of working in rapidly changing environments.  Experience of developing and managing a varied range of projects with demonstrable success in delivery and budget management of simple projects, along with some experience of governance either through Board or Committee membership are a must.

The Hepatitis C Trust develops projects nationally where peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C, to provide education and training, increase hepatitis C awareness, and access to testing and treatment for people living with hepatitis C. 

Working with the South West Peninsula ODN, The Hepatitis C Trust are now expanding this commitment through the introduction of the HCC (Hepatocellular Carcinoma) surveillance and early liver disease detection programme.

Working under the guidance of the South West Peninsula Peer Programme Manager, the post-holder will work alongside other identified partners to help develop a community outreach liver surveillance program and carry out HCC early detection activity and interventions across Plymouth.

About the role

As Philanthropy Manager (Health), you will manage a portfolio of prospects and develop bespoke solicitation plans focused on raising philanthropic income at the five-figure and low six-figure level from a variety of income streams to support UCL's health and medical fundraising priorities.

We are happy to consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible (minimum 0.8 FTE - equivalent of 4 days per week, stated salary to be pro-rata). This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 20% on site.

The Thalidomide Trust is seeking a collaborative, inspiring and empathetic leader to join as our next Director of Health & Wellbeing, providing leadership to a committed and expert team as we work to deliver the best possible support to thalidomide survivors as they enter older age.

The Thalidomide Trust was established as a registered charity in 1973 to support individuals living with disabilities caused by their mothers taking thalidomide during pregnancy. Today, our support encompasses financial grants and guidance, together with comprehensive health and wellbeing support (including emotional support). We also undertake research to better understand the needs of our beneficiaries and provide vital information resources for professionals working with them. Secure funding means we can focus entirely on how to improve the lives of our beneficiaries.

We assist 430 beneficiaries, most of whom the Trust has worked with since they were children. We are often the first port of call for any issues they face. As our beneficiaries are now in their 60s, we must continue to evolve to meet their changing needs. The Trust is approaching a crucial transition point - effectively becoming an older person’s charity over the next 10-20 years, as the group’s needs become ever more complex and diverse. We must ensure we are ready to provide much-needed support to our beneficiaries as they face the typical challenges of aging that impact them more as thalidomide survivors, as well as the unique impacts and accelerated aging caused by thalidomide damage.

Our current Director of Health & Wellbeing is taking on the Joint Chief Executive role with our existing Executive Director. This means we need a new Director of Health & Wellbeing to join in October this year to lead our fantastic, 12-strong team of health & wellbeing professionals though this transition period. They will ensure they have the resources and skills to support our beneficiaries into this next phase of life, maintain and build on our award-winning culture, contribute to the development of the Trust’s next Five-Year Strategic Plan, and lead the implementation of the health and wellbeing objectives and deliverables within the plan.

Salary: £80,000 - £85,000

Contract:  Permanent, full time with flexible working

Location:  St Neots, Cambridgeshire, with hybrid working (2-3 days per week in the office). The role also requires regular travel to meet beneficiaries in their homes (including for Holistic Needs Assessments)
