About the Project
Hertfordshire Mind Network is proud to provide early intervention support to children and young people experiencing poor mental health across Hertfordshire. We provide a combination of support through psychoeducational workshops, open access, 1:1 and group support.
We are expanding our provision, to offer drop in, open access community support to 10–18-year-olds across the county who need someone to talk to about their mental health in that moment. This space will offer timely support, in a person-centred, trauma informed way.
The objectives of Hertfordshire Mind Network’s Herts Haven Café service are:
- To improve the mental wellbeing of children and young people experiencing mental health issues, including crisis presentations, in Hertfordshire.
- To provide drop in, no referral required, timely support to 10-18 year olds.
- To support children and young people in Hertfordshire to access community based mental health help.
- To increase early access to help for people experiencing mental health crisis in Hertfordshire, by providing a clear and effective pathway to services provided across the CYP MHS system.
About the Role:
The key purpose of this post is to be an integral member of staff delivering the Herts Haven Café service, facilitating drop-in mental health support for children and young people aged 10-18. As a practitioner you will meet the varying needs of the individual, as they present, meaning no day may look the same.
A person-centred approach will be maintained, and this role is pivotal to ensuring CYP have a warm and welcoming space to turn to. You will be working as a team to facilitate support, deliver brief mental health interventions, signposting, and ensure timely information, guidance and referrals are provided for ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
- To play an integral role in instilling HMN’s values throughout the Herts Haven Cafe Service.
- To play a key part in the development and delivery of quality CYP mental health support services.
- To provide consistent and clear communication to the team, working proactively and with initiative.
- To be part of a cooperative and collaborative team that is flexible and adaptable to changing requirements.
- To deliver 1:1 and group interventions, depending on need, flexibly and creatively.
- To ensure that every individual accessing the service receives, safe and trusted support.
- To create and review risk assessments, wellness plans, crisis support plans, safety plans, as well as signposting resources, as required.
- To proactively recognise indicators of deteriorating mental health and facilitate appropriate action, whilst liaising with relevant agencies e.g., C-CATT, Emergency Duty Teams, CYP MHS, etc.
- To work alongside Crisis Teams in line with joint protocols, where required, to support those individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.
- To signpost and refer effectively into other Herts Mind Network services, as well as alternative VCFSE and statutory organisations.
- To act as a positive role model showing professional and caring attitudes and behaviours towards other team members, children and young people, families/carers and professionals.

Headway East London is a charity supporting people living with brain injury. Working across 13 London boroughs we offer specialist support and services for survivors and their families. We offer therapies, advocacy, family support and community support work alongside our day service: a community venue where people can make the most of their abilities and interests.
About the Role
As Occupational Therapist you will provide occupational therapy assessment and treatment to survivors of acquired brain injury (ABI) who have been referred to the Headway East London services, as part of the Day Service in Haggerston or the Enfield community service. You will focus primarily on activity and participation issues. You will also provide advice, recommendations and training to Headway staff or external organisations.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Please refer to job describtion for more information)
- Undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessment, treatment and evaluation of progress with individuals with complex neurological presentations as an autonomous practitioner, including the assessment of neurological impairment (including cognition, perception, upper limb impairment, and fatigue) as well as activity limitations and participation restrictions, using evidence-based tools and outcome measures, to ensure effective intervention.
- Negotiate goal-directed intervention with individuals and / or carers to establish a realistic person-centred treatment programme, and promote an individual’s choice and autonomy.
- Contribute to the development of, and run, a range of therapeutic groups offered at Headway and in Enfield to ensure they continue to meet the needs of members with support from the Technical Instructor and Therapy Manager.
- Maintain accurate and up to date documentation for all of caseload and provide written reports for external professionals such as GPs and case managers to meet professional and organisational demands.
- Assess and determine the need for assistive technology and / or adaptive environments to enhance an individual’s independence; making recommendations to individuals / carers and other staff / professionals, trialing and training individuals and carers in their use agencies to ensure the delivery of a co-ordinated service.

· Salary: £37,338 - £44,962 per annum (Hospiscare Band 6)
What you’ll do:
· Manage a range of Data Protection and Security processes and protocols to ensure that Hospiscare and St Lukes are both compliant with its statutory responsibilities.
· Produce St Lukes and Hospiscare’s annual Data Protection and Security (DPS) Toolkit submission
· Advise staff across the organisations and deliver training in relation to Data Protection and Security and GDPR.

WellChild, based in the centre of Cheltenham, is the national charity for seriously ill children and their families. We fund
programmes and services to make it possible for children and young people living with serious illness to be cared for at
home instead of hospital.
What we are looking for:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and well organised Family Engagement Coordinator to work within our Family Team. This
role will be working directly with charity beneficiaries - parents and carers of children with serious and complex health
needs. This is a diverse and interesting role that is central to the development and expansion of our WellChild Family
Tree service.
Purpose of the role:
The Family Engagement Coordinator is vital to the success of the WellChild Family Tree Network. This is a growing network
that exists to connect families across the UK caring for a child with serious and complex medical needs with each other
and with WellChild. Through its online Facebook forum, and programme of activities, events and communications, it
provides members with the opportunity to make friends, make memories and get support.
Working within the Family Team and as part of the wider Programmes team this role will report to the Family Programme
Manager and is central to the development and expansion of the WellChild Family Tree. Key to this role is taking ownership
of and delivering a well-defined WellChild Family Tree membership experience that attracts and engages families from
across the UK and includes the provision of high-quality content and regular communications.

The Family Services Coordinator is responsible for providing families (parents/carers and children up to ten years) affected by cleft with opportunities to access accurate information, connect with each other and form supportive communities. They will champion CLAPA volunteers and will lead on the development and effective delivery of our volunteering strategy.

As Supporter Experience Manager, you will help us to champion and improve audience experience across the charity, including our support services, fundraising, campaigns, and marketing activity. You’ll focus on mapping, developing, managing, and analysing a matrix of multi-channel journeys with the overall goal of increasing impact, deepening engagement and loyalty, and driving up income.
You will be reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager and will work closely with teams across the organisation to showcase key insights and make actionable recommendations, considering how objectives, content, channels, and targeting can best be used to optimise the audience experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit all our current audience journeys, identifying the key KPIs for each and analysing how well the journeys are achieving their aims.
- Use data analysis to identify where audiences experience could be improved (e.g. overlapping communications, pain points) and highlighting where good practice exists.
- Prioritise journey development based on organisational goals and impact vs input, balancing quick wins with longer-term improvements.
- Working with teams across the organisation, showcase key insights and make actionable recommendations to both our journey matrix and individual journeys, considering how objectives, content, channels, and targeting can best be used to optimise the audience experience.
- Contribute to, and help to implement, new processes so we can better plan and manage individual journeys, as well as our journey matrix.
- Run workshops, training sessions and consultation meetings where appropriate that help teams to make journey improvements and transition to a more audience-centred way or working.
- Influence internal stakeholders to see the benefit of leaving behind a product-only mindset and expanding their view to better meet the needs of our different audience segments.
Person Specification:
- Experience of working in an audience experience-focussed role in a similar sized organisation - mapping, planning, measuring and optimising audience journeys.
- Experience of working within a marketing team to deliver communications and creative content to range of audiences across a range of channels.
- Experience of analysing various forms of audience insights to develop tangible actions for teams to apply to individual journeys, as well as the journey matrix.
- Experience at championing the audience voice and encouraging teams to shift to a more audience-centred way.
- Experience of creating and improving processes to better plan, manage and evaluate audience journeys.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work with cross[1]functional project groups and programmes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build good working relationships with, and influence, internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent data literacy and numeracy skills.
