Clinical Education & Professional Development Lead
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinical educator to join our expanding clinical professional development team working 30 hours per week.
We are looking for a proactive individual who is passionate about education, professional development and paediatric palliative care. You will have experience in clinical education, running high-quality training programmes for clinical staff, and in overseeing student placements.
We are widening our student nursing placement offer and the post holder will take a lead role in the development, coordination and quality assurance of our student placements. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure students receive outstanding placement opportunities.
The successful candidate will also oversee the further development of our Paediatric Palliative Care Foundation Course. Having established a strong internal programme, we are looking for an inspiring educator who can help shape the next phase of its growth, extending opportunities for learning to both internal colleagues and external healthcare professionals.
In addition, as we expand our clinical skills training offer, you will lead the design, delivery and evaluation of simulation programmes that build clinical skill competence.
