About the role

This is an opportunity to join the Solent Mind Finance Team as a Management Accountant. Your management accounting skills will help improve our budgeting, forecasting and interpretation of data to help deliver our strategy. Your knowledge, expertise and guidance will empower our budget holders to improve the services they provide.

• Hours: 22.5 hours per week (3 days per week)

About you

You will need to have experience of producing and explaining management accounts. 

You will need strong IT skills to help improve the reporting out of our Microsoft Dynamics Business Central accounting system and to help build spreadsheets to improve month end processes and reporting to budget holders. 

You will have strong communication and problem solving skills, generating ideas and identifying opportunities to benefit colleagues.

International Care Network is a Christian charity whose aim is to help to rebuild the lives of asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants. The UASC team provide Ofsted regulated supported accommodation to asylum seeking young people referred by various local authorities. About the role

As Guidance Programme Manager, you will lead the Guidance team delivering quality assurance and innovation of our clinical guidance and patient information resources. You’ll work closely with the Director of Clinical Quality and Senior Guidance Editorial Manager, and collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including clinicians, patients, partner organisations and specialist societies.

About you

We are seeking additional experienced Associate Independent Investigating Officers (IO) for Complaints, to increase our capacity to respond to referrals from Local Authorities to provide an independent element to the formal Stage 2 investigations under the Children Act 1989.

The IO will lead investigations, and will give the complainant (who may be a child, young person or adult) the opportunity to express their view, ensure the child or young person’s rights and best interests are at the centre of the investigation and that the investigation/review process is open and transparent. They write a report on the investigation/review, which is submitted to the referring agency.

The Job Description document sets out the expectations for an Associate Independent Person for Complaints (IPC) who is approved by Coram Voice. IPCs are independent, freelance and responsible for their own work. Nevertheless, IPCs are accountable to the organisation for their professional standards and are expected to comply with Coram Voice Code of Ethics and Practice Guidelines.

Please note: the nature of associate work means that we cannot guarantee a regular amount of work, and complaints will be allocated dependent on the associate’s availability, location and the needs and demands of the individual case. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to provide high quality evidence-based speech and language therapy, which promotes the participation, function and safe care of children and young people accessing The Children’s Trust.

Your aim is to deliver child and family focused goal led interventions supporting those with speech, language and communication needs and to those with dysphagia needs.
To support the service for those children and young people with tracheostomies, within the limits of skills and competencies.

Role Requirements

• Support the provision of high quality, evidence informed speech and language therapy assessments and interventions for children and young people attending The Children’s Trust, in partnership with other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
• Devise suitable, individual, plans that fit within the child’s daily routine, whether to be carried out by therapists, parents or members of the Multidisciplinary team; these should be monitored, evaluated and adjusted appropriately according to the needs of the child.
• Facilitate involvement of family and carers in the rehabilitation process, including day-to-day activities, and the handing over of practical skills and care.
• Be an autonomous practitioner with responsibility for assessment, treatment and planning for an allocated caseload of children/young people.
• Work closely with all members of the Multidisciplinary team, as well as the child and family, to provide a fully integrated approach to the overall management of the child. This will include any home/school visits, professional child related meetings and / or appointments, as required.
• Liaise with all appropriate medical staff, whether employed by The Children’s Trust, visiting consultants or at off-site clinics, and attend clinics with the child as required.
• Contribute to the assessment and discussion of new referrals to The Children’s Trust, carrying out on virtual and off-site referral assessments around the United Kingdom, as required.
• Contribute to child related reports, including looked after children and annual review reports as required, and assist with the collation of these as and when required, in a timely manner and in line with organisational targets.
• Utilise patient reported and standardised outcome measures for each allocated child/young person and complete in a timely manner.
• Assess, evaluate, and recommend discharge/transition plans for children/young people within the multidisciplinary team framework.
• Provide clinical cover across the service during episodes of staff shortage/heavy workload, in order to ensure effective service delivery.
• Work flexibly in terms of hours, in order to meet the needs of the service, including an early evening (maximum one per week) and weekend day (maximum one per month).
• Represent the Therapy Team and The Children’s Trust when appropriate, deputising for the Head of Therapy - Rehabilitation, as required.
• Actively participate in and support the running of relevant meetings.
• To undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.

Rape Crisis South London is looking for a skilled and experienced professional who is passionate about improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people. 
 

This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the delivery of the South West London (SWL) Child Sexual Abuse Early Emotional Support Service for the CYP service. Working closely with the NHS and Schools you will manage a small specialist counselling team ensuring high-quality, trauma informed support for our young people who have experienced sexual violence. It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of Safeguarding legislation for children and adults, as well as child development. 
 

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and an ability to develop partnerships with schools, families, funders and other key stakeholders. You will hold a relevant professional qualification in counselling or psychotherapy and be registered with the BACP/UKCP or equivalent. You will have significant experience of working therapeutically with children and young people, ideally in the contexts of trauma or abuse. 
 

Responsible to the Clinical Lead for CYP you will also provide additional support in the management and allocation of referrals, as well as provide additional support and advice as required to the wider CYP Service.

Job Purpose

Gaddum has secured external funding to deliver an Employer care project, which will provide unpaid carers living in Manchester with support and coaching in order for them to re-enter paid or voluntary employment.

Delivery of this support to carers will be by Employment Coaches, who will manage a small caseload of carers and provide them with 1:1 support, helping them overcome barriers to employment and training. You will be responsible for supporting them through every stage of their journey, enabling participants to address their barriers and realise their aspirations. Successful employment coaches believe in the potential of every individual they work with.

Core responsibilities

• To support carers to address their barriers to employment by providing individual tailored packages of support so they can develop the necessary skills and confidence to secure and sustain employment.
• To act as coach and a mentor to build strong positive relationships, guide, motivate, challenge, encourage and help carers obtain sustainable employment.
• To ensure delivery targets are achieved by working with carers to identify employment opportunities and support them into and during employment.
• To meet personal performance targets and Key Performance Indicators.
• To manage a caseload of carers and utilise a variety of coaching strategies to help carers overcome barriers to obtaining sustainable employment.
• To undertake in-depth assessments using a suite of tools to fully understand a carers circumstances, preferences and holistic barriers to progression.
• To co-produce personalised action plans with sequenced interventions and development opportunities.
• To work with multiple agencies to develop holistic approaches to support carers. (Support the carers in all aspects of job-search and interview preparation to ensure that customers are matched to the right job that enables them to sustain employment and develop a career.

• Maintain IT files and customer records to the required compliance and quality standards.

This new role is an exciting opportunity to drive the growth of Family Fund’s high value giving, helping more families raising a disabled or seriously ill child access the support they need. 

As a key member of the fundraising team, you will play a vital role in securing transformational income from high-net-worth individuals building strong, lasting relationships that fuel our mission and increase our impact.

The role

As Philanthropy Manager, you will shape our philanthropic strategy, develop a new prospect pipeline and secure long-term support from individuals, family foundations, and wealth intermediaries. 

You will work closely with internal stakeholders across the organisation, to identify funding priorities and opportunities for donors. You’ll ensure we develop and deliver a long-term philanthropy strategy, building and managing relationships with wealth managers, private client advisers and networks that can introduce and connect donors to Family Fund. 

You will accurately record prospect and donor activity on our CRM system, maintaining clear pipelines and forecasts, and producing high-quality reports to monitor progress and impact. 

About you

We are looking for someone who is passionate and committed to drive our philanthropy strategy forwards. You will be a brilliant communicator, able to influence and inspire, representing Family Fund externally as a compelling ambassador for our work. You will be results driven with a solid track record securing major gifts from donors and demonstrable success in building new relationships. You will be entrepreneurial and self-starting, with the confidence to build a new programme from the ground up.

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

Our impact on the mission field is fueled by the faithful donations and prayers of our sponsors and donors in the UK and Europe.  These are our "partners" in the Gospel, labouring with us in prayer, giving sacrificially, raising a voice for the needs on the mission field, and often finding meaning in Jesus' call on their lives. 
 
Most people don't realise how much need there is, nor how they can make a difference to it, while for some it doesn't yet matter.  We aim to be a window into the mission field, to help people see the multitudes and be moved with compassion, and begin to take steps to make that difference as a partner of GFA World.  This is their "Partner Journey".

Today thousands of people in the world will die without ever having had a chance to hear of Jesus' love for them, and we exist to give more people that chance before it's too late.  We currently have about 1,500 generous partners, and we hope to double that in the next 5 years.  

In this role you will serve as a vital link between the church in the UK and Europe and the mission fields of Asia and Africa.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will help people find their path on our "Partner Journey".  You will function as part of a team, and have training in each aspect of the team's ministries, but you will only be responsible for certain ones or parts of them at any one.  These functions include, but are not limited to:

Point of Contact
Our sixth Core Value is "Having A Servant Lifestyle", and one way we do that is by answering phone calls and e-mails from our partners and inquirers.  You and the team will be the voice of GFA World to the UK and Europe, representing the mission field to them.  We will train you to answer queries, process requests, and share stories from the mission field. 
 
Donor Services
Our second Core Value is "Being A People Of Integrity And Excellence", and one key way we live that out is proper handling of donations from our faithful partners.  You and the team will receive donations and record them in our database, and send the appropriate acknowledgments to those who gave them.  

Sponsor Relations
Part of our Mission Statement is to "fulfil the Great Commission through sending out qualified labourers in partnership with the body of Christ".  There's no better way to see that happen than to help believers here sponsor missionaries in mission field areas.  You and the team will help people initiate and maintain their sponsorship commitments, sending them photo profiles, testimonies, and updates.

Posting Materials
We can't take everyone to the mission field to experience what God is doing, the next best things is to give them materials which tell the story, and challenge them to think about others.  You and the team will be helping that happen by sending people our mission minded materials and books.

Corporate Prayer
Our fifth Core Value is "Being A People Committed To Prayer And Worship", and GFA World started with a Tuesday Night Prayer Meeting.  It is fueled by prayer, and would die out without it.  We maintain this tradition and require all staff to take part in praying for the needs of a dying world, to ensure we are always depending upon the Holy Trinity for grace for His work.

• You are a practising Christian who reads the Bible and has attended a local church for at least 2 years
• Proven experience in administrative roles
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with database management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• You’d like to make a difference for people in other countries, even though you may never meet them in person
• You don’t feel a call to go to the mission field yourself, but you desire to use your time on Earth to help people know Jesus, from an office here in England
• You are able to communicate effectively in spoken and written English
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate clearly and effectively to internal and external Partners and team members.
• Ability to develop a rapport quickly with internal and external Partners, adopting a friendly and confident approach with a wide range of Partner types.

THE NICENE CREED
