Scheme Manager - St Claire's

St Claire's provides vital accommodation for 10 people who are at the end of their homelessness journey. Staff are available to support them and others in the community to maintain a tenancy and become totally independent. All of the people who live at St Claire’s have been in supported accommodation and are now ready to take the final step towards independence.

The St Claire’s building was renovated to provide 10 modern, self-contained and fully furnished apartments.

We also support a number of people who are already living independently to maintain their tenancy.

We`re currently seeking to recruit to the role of Scheme Manager with the right values and behaviours who is able to encourage and nurture a positive workplace culture based on respect and dignity for those who have experienced homelessness and are in need of support.

About the role

As a Scheme Manager, you`ll lead a team and be responsible for overseeing support, advice and assistance to people have been homeless so that they are able to access and maintain a safe and secure home of their own.

We`re looking for someone who has:

  • knowledge of relevant legislation in relation to homelessness, housing and the equalities act
  • an in depth understanding of the multiple and complex needs experienced by homeless people
  • previous experience of working in services for people experiencing homelessness
  • previous experience of managing others
