Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced project specialist to join their established Training team as a Training and Development Executive. The team designs and delivers a calendar of specialist further education training programmes for educational professionals working across the further education sector.
In this role, you will be working in a small training team led by the Head of Events, Training & Sponsorship, working closely with the wider events team. In this role you will be responsible for programme management of a wide range of in-house and open training programmes and workshops involving project, client and financial management, ensuring high levels of customer service at all times. The role will also support, develop and promote the provision of in-house training through business development and account management activities. The role will involve some UK travel, overnight stays and occasional long hours.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a good understanding of project management with the ability to manage, plan and co-ordinate all aspects of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered to a high standard, on time and to budget. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills and attention to detail coupled with excellent time management and a positive, collaborative approach to problem solving. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator and use their excellent written and verbal communication skills appropriately with people at all levels.
