Our client is looking for a reliable and confident Administration Officer to provide vital support during a colleague’s maternity leave. Working closely with their Director of Finance & Resources, you’ll take ownership of a broad range of internal operations, from HR administration and office systems to procurement and regulatory processes.
This is a varied role for someone who enjoys being the "go-to" person and thrives on making things run smoothly behind the scenes. You'll be part of a small, committed team working to accelerate the transition to human-specific medical research.
Job title: Administration Officer
Salary: c.£29,000 pa FTE (c.£17,400 pa pro rata)
Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week (0.6FTE)
Location: Remote with occasional meetings throughout the UK

- Coordinating recruitment, onboarding, and employee records
- Managing internal events, health & safety records, and office systems
- Liaising with suppliers and tracking office spending
- Supporting the delivery of a data protection review
- Acting as a helpful first point of contact for staff and external queries
