Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, the Senior Finance Business Partner will play a critical role in supporting ODI's strategic decision-making and financial management processes. The Role

FP&A Manager | London | Interim | £300 - £350 per day (Umbrella), 4 months +
For a leading UK charity, we're recruiting an Interim FP&A Manager for at least 4 months. Managing the day to day finance operations, you will work to support the wider charity in improving financial and management reporting and analysis. About the Role
The Africa Death Penalty Team Project Manager is responsible for coordinating Reprieve’s litigation and advocacy in Sub-Saharan Africa. At the moment, the team works on death penalty casework and abolition advocacy in Malawi, Tanzania, and Kenya. Our casework includes work on individual cases on behalf of people facing a death sentence; large-scale projects, such as the Kenya resentencing project, wherein we support stakeholders to ensure 5,000+ people are able to access a chance at reducing their sentence from death via a new sentence hearing; and long-term regional projects, such as our strategic litigation before the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights, which challenges the mandatory death penalty, torture, and other associated violations of the African Charter.
Regional context
There is a trend toward the abolition of the death penalty in Africa. In recent years, countries across the continent have taken the decision to limit the application of the death penalty or to abolish it altogether. This has been seen as a turning away from old laws and systems that were imposed by former colonial governments, which obstructed alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, and were designed to remove discretion from the local judiciary. African lawyers and judges are now at the forefront of a wave of progressive jurisprudence on issues related to the death penalty including methods of executions, torture, sentencing practice, conditions of confinement, and intersections of gender, disability, and socioeconomic status with criminal justice. This jurisprudence has become a model for the international movement to limit the death penalty, and is being held up as best practice in jurisdictions around the world.
Contract and location
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model with staff working part of the week from home and part of the week from the office. Applicants must have the current right to work in the UK, which will be checked prior to interview.
Your presence is important during core office hours, whether remotely or in the office. You will also be available outside of office hours in the event of an emergency, for example case developments that require urgent action. This is a role that may require travel.

Robertson Bell are partnering with this well-known nonprofit organisation whilst they recruit for a new Accounts Payable Manager. Reporting into the Head of Operational Finance you will have three direct reports and a wider team of 25.
Duties for this role include:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments, adhering to the board's approval matrix for delegated authorities.
- Supervise the department's data entry process to validate invoices, match them with purchase orders, and ensure accurate coding for authorisation.
- Oversee the accurate and timely setup of new suppliers, following necessary controls and procedures.
- Manage expense payments, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance.
- Supervise all cash processes, including petty cash and payment runs.
- Maintain the ledger, resolving outstanding invoices and supplier issues prior to each payment run.
- Improve team efficiency by measuring KPIs and implementing process enhancements.
- Ensure objectives for the team are aligned with organisational goals and develop SLAs for direct reports, conduct regular performance reviews, offer necessary coaching, and regular development sessions.
- Provide internal and external guidance on accounts payable matters, collaborating with systems, accounting teams, and other departments to automate processes and support change initiatives.
Based at the organisations head office in South London this Accounts Payable Manager will be required to work in the office twice a week. This permanent position will best suit an individual who has already run an effective accounts payable function of a significant size.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a highly capable communicator.
- Have previously led sizable teams of 20 or more.
- Understand how to drive efficiencies across an accounts payable function.
- Be able to manage a busy workload within a large and complex organisation.

Chief Operating Officer
We have an exciting opportunity for a Chief Operating Officer to join the team in this hybrid-working role.
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum
Location: Central London, WC2A 3PE/Hybrid
Hours: Full time
Contract: Permanent

About the Role
Our team currently consists of 8 dedicated staff members and is led by our CEO, Anne Bishop. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a new role for BAUS. It will be a key part of our Senior Leadership Team, playing a vital part in the development and implementation of our strategy and deputising for the Chief Executive.
The COO role provides the essential financial stability and operational facilities to enable future growth through leadership and management of finance, maintaining and developing our IT infrastructure, and ensuring effective governance and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
· Supporting the CEO on the development of BAUS’s annual strategic planning and leading the accompanying operational plan
· Oversight of financial management and administration, with support from an outsourced bookkeeper and finance team
· Ensuring BAUS’s IT and digital infrastructure is well maintained, cyber compliant and fit for purpose
· Ensuring effective governance and regulatory compliance
About You
We are looking for:
· Experience of leading a finance function in a charity, as part of a leadership team
· Track record of delivering on a range of other corporate support/operational services such as IT and Governance in addition to financial responsibilities
· Relevant professional qualification desirable e.g. part qualified/fully qualified management account or chartered governance institute (CGI)
