Interim Director of Digital and Data Transformation

12 Month Fixed term contract

35 hours per week

The Children's Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 130 years. We run local services that support children when they are at their most vulnerable and in desperate need of help. We're there for children, every step of the way.

Job Purpose

You will create stability and enable efficiency in our digital, data and technology teams. Leading strategy and setting a pathway for transformation through digital and data at TCS. You will also empower the team to be agile and customer focussed to meet the ever changing needs of young people, supporters and TeamTCS

[KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES]

In order to be successful in this role, you must have:

-Act as a change agent to deliver a shift in digital, data and technology mindsets, culture, capabilities, ways of working to drive clear business outcomes

-Consolidate digital, data and technology capabilities from across TCS ensuring strong foundations which deliver both value for money and impact for young people

-Partner with both the Executive Team and Leadership Team to help deliver on strategic goals and embed the first steps in our transformation

-Run efficient, effective and secure services across core software platforms

-Create a data driven culture which improves decision making by drawing on data and insights teams whilst maintaining GDPR compliance

-Create a development roadmap for digital products, including the website, increasing efficiency and delivering impact for young people
