An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Trusts and Foundations Manager to join our team at Leeds Children’s Charity at Lineham Farm.
This role is a new and important addition to the charity as we drive forward future developments, helping to brighten the lives of children throughout the city. As the Trust Fundraiser, you will be an essential member of the fundraising team, playing a pivotal role in identifying and capitalising on grant opportunities that will contribute to significant growth and long-term sustainability for the charity. Oasis South Bristol hub team is now in a position to employ a Community Project Worker to work alongside our Oasis Community Hub team in South Bristol and we are looking for a talented and adaptable person to join our busy team focussed on supporting our academies in Hengrove: Oasis John Williams and Oasis New Oak and the communities they serve.
The role will encompass community support activity as well developing and running school holiday provision.
Key responsibilities will be:
- To provide enrichment activities to the children’s youth work to include holiday schemes, afterschool and lunch time clubs.
- To develop a strong food poverty programme and offer support for the community through adult education, wellbeing, advocacy/family support and volunteering opportunities.
- To work alongside the Strategic Community Development Leader to develop funding and volunteer capacity which can support the Academies holistically across all of the Hub.
- To engage and work with families supporting them to access Hub services and activities to develop their skills, knowledge and aspirations.
The successful post holder must have:
- Proven experience of community development
- Self-motivation, resilience, with excellent organisational and inter-personal skills.
- Successful experience of working with parents / carers (voluntary or paid work)
- Successful experience of working with children and young people
- Experience working with challenging behaviours and attitudes
- Knowledge of safeguarding practices and health and safety

We are looking for an experienced youth practitioner to manage our youth team and work within the enact team to develop a range of engaging activities and training opportunities for young people with particular focus on those aged 10 to 19 in the Enfield community.
The Senior Youth and Community Worker needs to be a passionate, enthusiastic and professional. They will lead the youth team to create community-based opportunities for the whole family, in accordance with the ethos and values of Oasis. The Senior Youth worker will also support the enact team to develop and be involved in community cohesion projects involving children, families and youth.
