About the role

The role of the Corporate and Community Partnerships Manager is to generate income to meet the Charity’s fundraising requirements by maintaining and developing successful partnerships with corporate and community group supporters, through donations, sponsorship, employee and group fundraising activities and events (organised both by Hope and third parties).

Responsibilites:

Fundraising – General 

• To deliver a continuous fundraising operation to meet the short, medium and long-term revenue needs of the charity as determined by the CEO and Board of Trustees

Development Director

Main Purpose and Scope of the Role

The Development Director will be a key part of the Action4Youth Senior Management Team, contributing to strategic development of the whole organisation and taking responsibility for the leadership and management of all aspects of business development, sales, fundraising, marketing and communications.

The Development Director will ensure development to support the Strategic and Operational Plans in order to achieve growth, sustainability and stability and to support the Action4Youth core offer i.e.  programme delivery and outdoor education.

Because Action4Youth is a relatively small organisation, teams are small and this means that even senior members of the team like Directors may have to cover for a team member when on leave or generally help out as necessary to achieve targets. In this particular role, that could mean undertaking basic tasks like completing a funding bid to meet a deadline, updating a webpage, writing blog posts or handling sales calls. This job is unusual in genuinely being both strategic and hands on.

Networking is an important part of this role so the post holder will often be expected to attend out of hours events to represent Action4Youth and to develop valuable relationships and connections.

The Programme Manager role will report to the Senior Programme Manager and sit within the Programmes Team.

Fauna & Flora is seeking a highly experienced professional to manage it’s fundraising from a portfolio of statutory (government and multilateral) donors, such as Defra, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service etc.

You will support colleagues and partners to develop high-quality proposal packages for priority donors, and ensure their timely submission. You will coordinate proposals and reporting internally, and ensure all documents produced for donors meet their criteria, as well as follow Fauna & Flora approval and submission procedures. There is a strong capacity development element to this work, and you will share knowledge, learning and resources across Fauna & Flora to maximise success rate and promote best practice in grant management and donor stewardship. You may also develop and deliver training packages, in Cambridge and potentially overseas. You will monitor Fauna & Flora’s activities in statutory fundraising and fund management within your portfolio, and support internal decision-making and strategy development by sharing this learning.

Experience of working with government funding sources, be they bilateral and/or multilateral, is essential for this role. You will have proven experience of securing restricted funding from government sources, and a strong understanding of how statutory donors and funding programmes support the achievement of international targets and government priorities. Knowledge of and experience in biodiversity conservation, the development sector, and/or climate is an asset; a commitment to learning and supporting these sectors is essential. You may have worked in the non-profit sector, such as international development, or have a background in bid management, proposal development, and grant fundraising.

Strong relationship-management and communications skills are essential to the role, to develop positive, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regional teams, non-governmental partners, and government agencies. You will be diplomatic and persuasive, and your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to coordinate people and processes to meet timelines. About the role 

We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled Bid Manager who can actively craft commercial tender submissions and work with the team to ensure we submit high-quality, winning bids within UK government procurement rules.

How will you make a difference? 

Through your bid management expertise you will proactively manage the workload of the bid-team, balancing known pipeline opportunities and the unknown tenders issued, ensuring capacity to bid on rewins and make the most of the new business opportunities. 

You will assiduously manage the end-to-end bid process and will support and empower the Bid Writers to take ownership of proposals and ensure they co-ordinate input from key stakeholders across the organisation.

BRAC’s office in Europe provides vital support for BRAC’s development work around the world through fundraising and communications, building impactful, long-term relationships with partners, whether they be foundations, companies, Governments or major donors. BRAC office in Europe also plays a key role in engaging with and influencing policymakers and practitioners to tackle extreme poverty across Europe.

To achieve its ambitious goal, BRAC is seeking partnerships with like-minded organisations and allies across Europe. It has an ambitious target to grow its funding from the European market to GBP 100 million over the next 24 months. To achieve its ambition BRAC is building a specialised team of partnerships specialist to be based across key European markets i.e. Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, UK and Switzerland.

The Foundations Officer will work as part of the Partnerships team and focus on delivering income targets from trusts, foundations and corporates. The Foundations Officer plays a pivotal role in advancing BRAC’s mission by stewarding partnerships with philanthropic and corporate foundations and creating new business opportunities to deliver on BRAC’s mission.

Join us in the ambitious ‘Birmingham In Action’ campaign, which commits to raising over £600 million of charitable funding and 1.25 million volunteer hours positioning the University as one of the world leaders in University development. To fulfil our exciting campaign ambitions, we are recruiting a Philanthropy Manager (12 month contract) to help grow our philanthropic funding and to take our campaign to the next level. 

Our world has many challenges that will deeply affect our generation and the next. As a Philanthropy Manager, you will cultivate significant gifts for amazing education and charitable research projects, you will provide funding for scholarships to support students from underrepresented backgrounds and will raise philanthropic funds for priority research areas including cancer, other global health issues and climate change. You will encourage and inspire donors to make long-term, sustainable gifts.

You will be joining an established team of fundraisers made up of Senior Philanthropy Managers, Philanthropy Managers and Philanthropy Officers. You will have experience of delivering against financial targets, along with the ability to translate complex information into a compelling ask in both verbal and written form. As a Philanthropy Manager in DARO, you will be innovative, self-motivated, and take ownership of fundraising opportunities in this area and generate significant gifts for amazing philanthropic projects. You will have an enthusiasm for building relationships, the skill to interact with high-level donors and supporters, and the ability to showcase the sector-leading academic research to a range of audiences.
