You’ll be a friendly and efficient first point of contact for donors and will assist the team with the wide range of fundraising we carry out. Main duties and responsibilities

• Provide effective administrative support for fundraising activities across teams to help the department promote philanthropy and support those wishing to donate to the University.

• Provide a main point of contact for fundraising queries and correspondence, by email, mail, on the phone and in person. Lead on the daily monitoring of fundraising email inboxes and phone queries, ensuring a quick and friendly response to provide the best possible supporter care.

• Lead on timely responses to expressions of interest for donating and leaving gifts in Wills. To include drafting standard and non-standard responses to different enquiries (individuals and solicitors).

• Support the Senior Philanthropy Manager in the administration of legacy case loads including adding appropriate information to the CRM database, Raiser's Edge. Assist with other legacy related activity including updating online obituaries, supporting events and communications across web, social and print.

• Provide effective and efficient administrative support for Community Fundraising activities. Including using JustGiving to identify new community fundraisers (welcoming, thanking and supporting them) and supporting community fundraising events, such as The Big Walk.

• Supporting the telephone campaign through administrative support for the recruitment and training of student fundraisers.

• Provide administrative support to assist with stewardship (thanking) of donors and legacy pledgers. Including sending thank you letters; mass emails using our email software; running and updating data reports; collecting, drafting and checking written reports; assisting with donor visits such as setting schedules, booking rooms, liaising with guests and accompanying visitors on tours.

• Support the work of the department by recording data accurately on the CRM database (Raiser's Edge) ensuring all data is managed confidentially and in line with the GDPR. 

• Provide cover to the office reception when needed. To include answering phone calls, greeting visitors and processing mail.

• Carry out other duties, commensurate with the grade and remit of the post.

Role Description

The role of a programme coordinator is ensuring the smooth running of all programme related events. This will include having a full understanding of all the SEO London programmes; understanding the relevant industry that the programme supports; how these fits into the SEO London organisation and using this knowledge to liaise with students, young professionals and client/partner firms to run, organise and market successful events. In turn this role will be responsible for using data to run reports to show the impact of each programme. In coordination with the programme managers and other programme coordinators, will make recommendations for possible changes and ideas to further support the student and young professional experience. The role will also ensure a seamless and professional level of customer care to all participants.

Accountabilities

DAY TO DAY DELIVERY OF EVENTS

• Responsible for the overall administration all participants events, with specific responsibility to ensure student communication is exceptional. Including event management, student and partner communication and coordination of all the relevant stakeholders, along with posting roles on opportunities page and weekly newsletter 

 
STUDENT MANAGEMENT & QUERY HANDLING 

• Responsible for the relationship management of the participants - including the ability to understand needs, resolve issues and anticipating and creating a strong relationship on behalf of SEO London
• Responsible for managing participants query escalations and to identify where there are opportunities to improve communication, marketing, or the type of events
• Responsible for managing the programme inbox (where applicable)
• Responsible for identifying creative and innovative ways to connect, educate and train participants and students.

About the Role

As a Family Court IDVA you will take referrals from CAFCASS to arrange support for victims of domestic abuse entering or going through family court proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct support to victims of domestic abuse and coercive and controlling behaviour.
• Report writing for CAFCASS and other partners.
• Monitoring and recording activity and outcomes measured.

Your ability to work in partnership with statutory and voluntary organisation is crucial to the success of this project.

The service will provide a programme of support for families including face-to-face befriending in the home and community, community group activities, support by phone and video as well as signposting activities. You will lead a small team of peer volunteers working and travelling across Doncaster. The service will require the use of simple evaluation tools and the collection of impact data for reporting purposes.

The successful candidate must have experience of engaging in risk reduction activities associated with conflict and violence alongside experience of working with parents within communities. The Senior Fundraiser for Trusts and Foundations will be our lead fundraiser, drawing in support and expertise from across the team. The role: 

The Senior Fundraiser for Trusts and Foundations is required to lead a wide range of activities. You will be expected to manage your own time, prioritising tasks and leading a small team of people who contribute to CARAS’ fundraising. You will inherit excellent systems and skilled, supportive and enthusiastic team players. You will work closely with the CEO, and the senior leadership team which draws together Heads of Service from each of our programme areas. You will collaborate with our Finance Manager to ensure smooth management of grants and donations and will play a key role in budget setting with the Finance Manager and CEO. 

The role demands cross-departmental working, and regular contact with community members to enhance your ability to advocate for them. You will be at the forefront of developing new ideas and approaches, ensuring that teams have the money and resources to have an impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

Fundraising 

• Line-manage our Fundraising Officer and work together to generate income to meet CARAS’s budgetary targets through trusts and foundations, individual giving, community fundraising and other means at our disposal. 

• Develop and deliver a fundraising strategy which synchronises with the CARAS Strategic Plan.

• Research and maintain a real-time pipeline of fundraising opportunities and oversee delivery. Lead or allocate all income generation opportunities in good time so that appropriate co-design and decision-making processes are behind applications. 

• Maintain up-to-date records on potential and active funders in CARAS’s database. 

• Ensure compliance with best practice in fundraising including use of data and confidentiality. 

• Work collaboratively with Heads of Service and CARAS’ Finance Manager to develop, deliver and iterate systems to ensure grants are accurately and effectively managed. 

• Work closely with CARAS leadership to align fundraising priorities with programme plans and organisational growth. 

• Lead on the development of programmatic and core budgets for diverse grant funders. 

• Write and submit high-quality, tailored applications that articulate CARAS’s impact, values and plans.  

• Ensure applications are accurate, persuasive, and meet deadlines and funder requirements.  

• Collaborate with the team to gather supporting information, budgets, and case studies. 

Reporting & Stewardship  

● Maintain excellent records and monitor deadlines for reporting and renewals.  

• Develop CARAS’ outcomes report and donor report ensuring they are data rich and clearly demonstrate impact. 

• Monitoring the wealth of data CARAS collects through our frontline service to ensure we stay agile and adaptable within a changing policy context, supporting Heads of Service and other relevant stakeholders to deliver excellence. 

Collaboration with Finance 

• Work collaboratively with the Finance Manager to ensure the rigorous financial management across all income and expenditure to ensure all grants and donations are accurately accounted for and spent. 

• Working collaboratively with the Finance Manager and CEO, develop the organisational annual budget and lead on income projections for the year ahead to ensure expenditure budgets are feasible and unlock multi-year growth. 

Governance 

• Contribute to the maintenance of up-to-date policies relevant to the role.

• Attend board meetings as requested to share reports with the Board on fundraising.

• Work closely with the Treasurer and the Finance Committee on fundraising strategy. 

Cross-Organisational Contribution  

● Coordinate annual impact reporting, including data analysis, case studies, and visual storytelling.  

● Build strong internal relationships and stay connected to CARAS’s work by attending occasional programmes, events and residentials.  

● Contribute ideas and support the fundraising team’s broader work (e.g. campaigns, supporter communications).  

● Engage with programme staff to gather stories and data that demonstrate CARAS’s impact.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Animal Equality’s campaigns have driven Parliamentary debates, legal victories, policy shifts, corporate commitments, mainstream media coverage, and inspired thousands of individuals to change their diets.

We are seeking a creative, driven, and strategic Campaigns Coordinator to deliver our current high-impact campaigns with a view to exposing the cruel animal agriculture industries, influencing decision-makers, and mobilising the public to create lasting change for farmed animals.

Working closely with team members, the Campaigns Coordinator will design and deliver imaginative campaigns while working in alignment with the organisation’s wider mission: to end factory farming. The Campaigns Coordinator will report to the Campaigns and Public Affairs Manager and work closely with others across our UK and international teams. You will play a key role in coordinating and inspiring volunteers and external stakeholders.

• Stakeholder management: Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, experts, regulators, allied organisations, and members of the public to strengthen campaign outcomes.
