In this role, you will be at the heart of our finance operations, supporting the team with purchase ledger processes, staff expenses, and payment runs. You will build strong relationships with colleagues and suppliers, resolving queries quickly and ensuring that all transactions are processed with accuracy and care. From preparing BACS payments to managing reconciliations and keeping our financial records in order, your work will help us maintain the highest standards of accountability. This is also a chance to grow your skills and career. You will gain hands-on experience across various finance tasks, supported by a team that values professional development and collaboration. Whether it’s assisting with year-end processes or contributing to ad-hoc projects, you’ll play a key part in keeping our finance function efficient and transparent.

We are looking for someone who is motivated, proactive, and keen to learn. You’ll ideally you’ll be working towards or have a degree or AAT qualification or equivalent in experience , strong Excel and MS Office skills, and a sharp eye for detail. Experience with purchase ledgers or charity finance is a plus, but more important is your can-do attitude and ability to work effectively with others.

Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be asked to participate in criminal records checks at the point of offer.

You will be working in a team of Community Keyworkers in your region. Each Keyworker will provide holistic one to one community support to women with a variety of needs.

About You:

To be successful as the Community Keyworker you will need to be a creative self-starter who will support the service and look for innovative solutions to support clients with complex needs. You are a confident professional relationship builder with a good awareness of Safeguarding procedures. You will have strong administration skills and an understanding of compliant behaviours. You will also have good knowledge of the criminal justice system and awareness of other support provisions within the area.

JOB PURPOSE

To provide information, advice, support and advocacy work on all  forms  of  gender  based  violence faced by migrant women,  including  forced  marriage,  rape  and  sexual  abuse,  honour  based  crimes  and  related  issues  such  as  immigration/asylum  and  no  recourse  to  public  funds,  matrimonial  and  children,  housing  and  homelessness,  mental  health  and  financial  matters.  Your  casework  will  focus  on  women  with  complex  needs. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide  a  professional  high-­quality  VAWG  advocacy  and  outreach  service.

2. Undertake  casework  and  advocacy  (this  will  include  liaising  with  relevant  professionals  and  agencies  such  as  solicitors,  social  workers,  police  officers  etc.) 

3. Provide  practical  support  such  as  accompanying  women  to  appointments  and  courts,  making  reports  to  such  agencies  or  collecting  belongings  and  otherwise  taking  all  necessary  steps  to  ensure  the  general  safety  and  wellbeing  of  women  and  children. 

4. Write  assessment  reports  and  support  letters,  and  under  supervision,  help  to  collect  evidence  and  statements,  as  well  as  undertake  some  basic  legal  representation.

5. Undertake risk assessments for referral to the Multi-­Agency Risk Assessment Conferences  (MARACs) 

6. Establish  links  with  key  partners  [local  authority,  police,  health,  schools,  etc.]  to  ensure  effective  referral  routes  and  information  sharing  protocols.

7. Assist  in  developing  and  meeting  quality  standards  in  relation  to  advice  and  casework.  This  includes  administration  and  IT  systems  for  advice  and  casework. 

8. Cover the helpline as required.

9. Assist migrant women to access immigration advice, and assist in meeting their housing needs.

10. To  undertake  campaigning  and  policy  work  arising  from  the  advice  and  casework  (this  may  involve  some  weekend/evening  work)

11. Where  necessary  to  assist  staff  in  organising  and  running  support  group  activities  and  consultations  for  women  who  are  isolated  and  vulnerable  due  to  their  experiences  of  violence  and  abuse.

12. To  publicise  and  provide  S4S  services,  and  attend,  contribute  and  represent  the  organisation  at  relevant  local  meetings  or  initiatives. 

13. To  support and mentor the Women’s Council.

14. Follow  S4S policies  and  procedures,  and  maintain  IT  and  case  file  management  systems.

15. Contribute  to  S4S  record  keeping  and  provide  information  for  monitoring,  evaluation,  policy,  and  research  and  training  purposes. 

16. Ensure  women  are  referred  to  S4S  projects  and  activities  as  required  for  example,  counselling or group work.

17. Support women residing in the refuge as required.

18. Be  self-­servicing  and  to  assist  other  workers  when  required. 

19. Undertake  any  additional  duties  which  will  contribute  to  the  smooth  running  of  the  S4S services  and  projects.

GENERAL  DUTIES  AND  RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Contribute  to  the  smooth  running  of  the  project  and  activities 

2. Assist in maintaining high standards in all aspects of the organisations work; including conduct with colleagues, external agencies and service users.

As Senior Grants Manager, Environment and Communities, you will identify, assess, and manage grants that contribute to these evolving areas of interest. 

A particular focus of the role will be developing strategic grants and partnerships that contribute to Environmental Sustainability.  This is a developing area of interest, supporting activity that restores the natural environment and enabling practices such as nature friendly farming and community growing.  Current grantees include the Sustainable Food Trust, the Wildlife Trust, and local farmer clusters.  

The Foundation has recently launched a ‘Green Fund’ pilot, supporting Buckinghamshire grantees to deliver progress in environmental sustainability.  The role will lead on the delivery of this programme.

As well as developing relationships with external stakeholders you will also closely collaborate with colleagues, making connections between grants and activities at Waddesdon Manor.  In particular, working closely with the Rothschild Foundation’s Sustainability and Conservation Department and the Education & Learning Department.

The role will also support the development and assessment of grants to the Rothschild Foundation’s Community Fund which is open to not for profit organisations in Buckinghamshire who support local communities, with a particular focus on disadvantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic development of our Environment programme, including current explorations in community growing, nature friendly farming and nature restoration.
• Leading on the delivery of a ‘Green Fund’ pilot, supporting grantees and funded activities.  This will include working closely with the Evaluation and Impact Manager and Operations Manager to review the programme and make recommendations for future delivery to Grants Committee
• Maintaining an overview of the portfolio of ‘Environment’ grants, sharing learning and identifying connections across grantees
• Keeping up to date on sector development, identify funding gaps, and emerging opportunities.
• Identifying and supporting potential applicants, conducting visits, guiding proposal development, and ensuring due diligence standards are met
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with grantees, conducting six-monthly catch up conversations, visiting funded activity and acting as a ‘critical friend’
• Supporting the delivery of our Communities funding, including assessment of applications to the Community Fund and occasional Trustee related community grants
• Producing regular updates for Trustees, including project updates and data insights, and contribute to creative ways of sharing the impact of our funding

They will assist in the implementation of a cultivation and stewardship strategy ensuring consistency, creativity, and alignment across fundraising sectors, with a focus on gifts of £25,000+ from Individuals and Trusts, and £50,000+ from Corporates. They will work closely with the Development Operations team to align efforts and maintain high standards.

As a core member of the Operations team, the role will work closely with colleagues across the National Theatre and be responsible for developing compelling proposals and impact-led reports that inspire new and continued major gifts to the Stories Start Here campaign.

The role requires effective collaboration, strong writing ability, attention to detail and the creativity to deliver exciting and impactful donor engagement opportunities

The International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) is exclusive partnering with Robertson Bell in their search for a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to join their evolving team on a permanent basis, in this newly created role.

The Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a key senior member of the finance team and will help shape the strategic management and direction of the team. They will support the Director of Finance and Operations, Senior Leadership Team, Trustees and budget holders to understand and interpret IIED’s finances and play a key role in the long term strategic financial planning process.

The key duties of the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis are as follows:

• Lead on strategic financial reporting to provide a clear picture of the organization’s short- and long-term financial position

However, our desire is to continue this work of establishing and growing a healthy youth organisation that provides excellent & vibrant youth work that makes a difference to young people’s lives and produces healthy staff that are equipped and empowered to do the job they love.
