Want to work with multiple award-winning charity, FoodCycle? As Regional Manager you will represent, manage and co-ordinate your allocated regional Projects. Our Projects are spaces where volunteers are empowered to run community meals using surplus food.​

You will manage local relationships with venues, community partners, supermarkets and volunteer recruitment channels to enable this to happen. As an excellent communicator, you will manage the volunteers at each Project ensuring they are trained, supported and on-message with FoodCycle strategy, ensuring that volunteers are confident enough to self-organise and make a success of their Projects.​

You will have experience of programme planning, delivery and development including community led/owned programmes. You will have experience of building relationships with a range of stakeholders and be passionate about food and cooking.​

There will be frequent travel to our projects in Yorkshire and The Humber, with some evening and weekend work needed to cover our projects. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this rewarding role.​

We have an opportunity for a Welfare Benefits Advisor to join our Customer Income Team in Bristol.

The Role

As a Welfare Benefits Advisor, you'll provide our customers with budgeting and welfare benefit advice.

This will include completing Income and Expenditure statements, giving budgeting advice, benefit & grant applications, and signposting for additional support.

You'll be working with both internal and external partners including Housing Benefit, Department of Works and Pensions and independent money, debt or legal advice services

To be successful in this role you'll need:

What you’ll do

As the Module Lead for Clinical Practice in Context (CPIC), you will lead the delivery and ongoing development of a core Year 2 module within the MSc Developmental Psychology and Clinical Practice programme. You will ensure the module is delivered to a high academic standard, supporting students to develop their clinical knowledge, reflective practice, and understanding of child and adolescent mental health within wider social, cultural, and professional contexts.

What you’ll bring

• You will hold a relevant doctoral qualification, such as a DClinPsych or PhD related to mental health or developmental psychology
• You will have clinical experience working within child and adolescent mental health settings

• You will demonstrate a strong understanding of the legislative, policy, and practice contexts surrounding Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)

Key details

Hours: 130 hours annually/ 2.5h a week. Teaching takes place in person at the London site on Fridays during term 1 of the academic year (October- December). Flexible/home working is possible for other duties such as marking and module planning.

You will lead a team of experts across marketing, communications, digital, press, content and advocacy, shaping how War Child UK engages supporters, partners and decision-makers. You will oversee the delivery of high impact campaigns and communications on the worst crises affecting children and across a portfolio of bold music, art, gaming and corporate partnerships and events.

This role requires someone who is confident managing senior stakeholder relationships, able to balance strategic thinking with delivery, and comfortable working across a complex organisation to bring partnerships to life. You’ll need to be proactive, resilient, and able to spot and act on opportunities to maximise income and impact.Someone who is creative, brings energy and ideas to our team and the wider organisation and has the drive and judgement to turn them into meaningful, deliverable partnerships.

To be successful, you’ll have significant experience in corporate partnerships or fundraising, with a strong track record of securing and managing high-value partnerships. You’ll be an excellent communicator, a credible relationship manager, and someone who brings energy, creativity and sound judgement to your work.

This role will operate in a hybrid working environment and although much of it can be done remotely our successful candidate must be able to attend our offices near Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire (PE29 2NH) for an average of once a month.  Occasional travel may also be required for partner meetings.  Internally this role is known as Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager.

The starting salary for this position is £36,665 - £44,812 pro rata per annum depending on experience. This will be complemented by;

• Pro rata equivalent of 36 days annual leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays) rising by 1 day each year to a maximum of 40 days pro rata per annum after five years

You’ll lead our press office and storytelling function and shape and deliver coverage that raises the profile of the charity and shows the reality, urgency and impact of kidney disease on patients and their families. 

You’ll have a strong track record in press or media relations, excellent writing skills and the judgement to operate confidently and at pace. You’ll be the first point of contact in the press office, with ability to spot a news story and the credibility to build lasting relationships with journalists. 

You’ll also oversee our storytelling function, ensuring patient and supporter stories are handled with care and the right consent, safeguarding and data processes are in place.

Working closely with fundraising, policy, research teams and colleagues in the marketing and communication team, you’ll ensure PR plays a central role in our strategic priorities and campaigns.

About the role 

As our Social Media Manager, you’ll play a key role in raising Compassion in World Farming’s public profile and driving engagement with our UK campaigns. You’ll use social media to communicate our strategic objectives, inspire action, and support our mission to end factory farming by 2040.

As part of our UK Communications Team, this role blends strategy, creativity, and community engagement. You’ll work closely with campaigns, fundraising, supporter engagement, and HQ teams to deliver high‑quality, impactful social content.

As our Social Media Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

• Managing Compassion in World Farming’s UK social media channels, delivering engaging content and effective community management
• Inputting into and delivering the UK social media content, broadcast and engagement strategy

• Previous professional experience of managing social media channels, with experience using social media management tools

About the Project

Herts Mind Network (HMN) has formed a partnership with Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust (HPFT) to deliver a one-to-one outreach service for people who are in psychiatric hospitals across Hertfordshire, based at Kingfisher Court in Radlett and Albany Lodge in St. Albans.

About the Role:

The Bounce Back worker will use a recovery orientated approach working with patients on the ward, and in the local community, including in people’s homes.

The Bounce Back Worker will be based at Kingfisher Court, Albany Lodge and Herts Mind Network Centres, promoting joint working between Kingfisher Court, Albany Lodge staff and HMN, creating a seamless pathway into community support for clients recovering from mental ill health.

The aims of the Bounce Back service are; to provide up to 10 sessions of emotional and practical support, advice and information to patients. We will visit patients on the ward and continue the sessions in the local community and in patients homes once discharged. We will facilitate a smooth and timely hospital discharge.

The recovery approach includes empathy, warmth, acceptance, authenticity, compassion and humanity.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive referrals from the ward teams at Kingfisher Court, Albany Lodge and other appropriate hospitals across Hertfordshire.
• Provide practical and emotional support to encourage patients to develop their independence within their local community.
• Facilitate a smooth discharge from hospital back to the community.
• Have a solid understanding on the dual effect of mental health and drugs and alcohol.
• Monitor outcomes and evaluate the service.
• Ensure that the safety and wellbeing of patients using the service is monitored and reviewed regularly.
• Embed a person centred and recovery orientated approach in all aspects of the roles and responsibilities.

We offer:

• Annual leave entitlement of 25 days per year pro rata, rising in increments to a max. of 29 days after 5 years employment (plus 8 days Bank Holidays)
