The Mental Health Foundation is recruiting for a Financial Controller to support the Finance team based at our London office.

This exciting role will lead on all aspects of the finance function, including managing managing the Finance & Systems Officer, overseeing the production of year-end accounts in collaboration with internal stakeholders and auditors, and preparing monthly management accounts for reports to the Senior managers and trustees. Responsibilities also include stewardship of the Foundation’s liquid assets, leading the budgeting and forecasting processes, verifying monthly payroll prepared by HR, and ensuring the efficient operation of the purchase ledger function.
What does the role involve?
- Coordinate across the Foundation and help prepare the annual statutory accounts and all schedules for audit and be the lead liaison with the auditors.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and budgets for review by senior management, providing analysis and other measures of performance.
- Lead on improving processes and systems across all aspects of finance and liaising with the wider organisation to drive these forward.
What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?
- Up to date knowledge of charity financial legislation and best practice
- Innovative in the development of processes, procedures and information systems to support the work of the team and organisation
- Demonstrable successful accounting experience in a similar role, ideally within the charity sector

We’re looking for a hands-on and adaptable IT professional who combines strong technical expertise with a commitment to social impact. This role blends operational IT leadership with vocational training support.
You will take ownership of technical quality across our charitable refurbishment programme while working alongside teaching staff to support vulnerable adults in developing practical industry standard IT skills. Key Responsibilities
1. Refurbishment, Training & Technical Quality
- Act as the technical lead for all refurbished devices, ensuring consistently high standards for resale or donation
- Support teachers in delivering hands-on training, guiding learners through disassembly, diagnostics, repair, and software installation
- Carry out final quality control checks before devices enter the sales or donation pipeline
- Identify faults early and ensure devices are fully functional to minimise post-sale issues
- Evaluate incoming donations from corporate partners to determine refurbishment viability and processing requirements.
- Manage software installation and licensing (Windows/Office) across refurbished and internal machines
2. eCommerce & Sales Support
· Work closely with the Multi-Channel Sales Executive to support online sales activity
- Provide accurate technical specifications and condition assessments for listings
- Advise on pricing based on performance, battery health, and hardware configuration
- Help identify which devices are suitable for eBay versus community distribution
- Liaise with donor should there be any technical issues with devices
- Develop and implement ‘after-sales’ support for sold and donated devices.
3. Systems, Data & Infrastructure
- Oversee secure data wiping processes, ensuring full compliance with GDPR and data protection standards
- Manage the flow of devices through our CRM and inventory systems from donation to final use
- Maintain internal IT infrastructure, including network (Unifi Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN), patch panels, and server environment (IIS)
- Support hardware and systems including AWS environment, desktops, CCTV and display equipment
- Manage user accounts, backups, and disaster recovery processes to ensure continuity
- Provide general internal IT support across our systems
What We’re Looking For
Technical Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Hardware to include laptops, desktops, tablets and smartphone hardware repair, diagnostics, and refurbishment

This is an exciting opportunity to guide and support trainees in their development as future child psychotherapists. The successful postholders will liaise with the year 1 tutor, clinical and research tutors, service supervisors and intensive case supervisors. There will be regular team meetings with the year tutor other progress advisors responsible for the year group. Outside of this, working hours are flexible.
We are looking for ACP registered Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists with current CAMHS experience, who have an active interest in working with our year tutor and staff group to support trainees’ progress. The role may suit new career CAPts who wish to develop connections and experience within the field of CAPy training schools. There will be opportunity to take advantage of in house training to become an Intensive Case Supervisor and for additional paid hours of clinical teaching such as practice or clinical seminar groups as appropriate.

Our Anti-Trafficking and Modern Slavery safe house in Bath accommodates victims of Modern Slavery who are being supported through the National Referral Mechanism. Our aim is to provide tailored, person-centred support and to assist them transitioning from victim to survivor. Our setting supports adult female victims of Modern Slavery, of all nationalities, faiths and sexual orientations.
As our Female Night Concierge on these waking shifts, you will ensure the safety, welfare and wellbeing of existing residents, and provide a warm welcome for any newly referred victims of modern slavery who arrive overnight. You will empathically engage with residents who might seek your assistance, and work to provide empowering support.
As well as providing support, you will be required to perform relevant administrative work, answer phone calls, and respond to any arising emergencies or out of hours referrals. To ensure the safety and security of our residents, you will carry out building checks; and as a night shift is typically quieter than our busy day shifts, you will also perform domestic/cleaning duties to support with the smooth running of the setting.
You’ll need excellent customer service and people skills, and be able to use your initiative whilst you lone work on the shift. Your experience in working with vulnerable people in a supportive setting will be put to good use. You will be proficient in using a range of IT packages, and understand the importance of accurate record keeping.

Main Purpose of the Role
This new role aims to support the design, coordination and delivery of Action Duchenne’s events portfolio, including the Annual Community Summit, regional meetups, workshops, and online events. The role will ensure smooth operational delivery, high‑ quality participant experiences, accessible information, and effective logistics‑ and supplier coordination.
This role contributes directly to our organisational impact by ensuring families, young people, professionals and partners have access to engaging, supportive and well managed events. Specific Tasks
1. Event Coordination and Logistics

Support the planning and delivery of the Annual Community Summit, working closely with the Chief Scientific Officer, Director of Fundraising and Communications, and wider team.

Coordinate logistics for in‑person and online events, including venue liaison, catering, accessibility arrangements, equipment, travel, accommodation and schedules.

Ensure event details are accurately published and updated across relevant platforms (website, CRM, communications channels).

Manage registration processes for all events and ensure attendees receive timely, accurate joining information.

Main Purpose of the Role:
To provide proactive, emotional, and practical support to families and individuals affected by Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) across Scotland. The role will focus on early engagement, wellbeing assessment, community building, and delivery of workshops and events, while ensuring accurate tracking of support outcomes and data.
The successful candidate will also lead on support for young people living with Duchenne during 2 key transition points (primary to secondary school stage and moving into adulthood). They will work closely with the England-based Transitions Coordinator to deliver a joined-up programme of support across the UK.
Specific Tasks:
1. Proactive Family Support
- Initiate contact with newly registered families within agreed timeframes (email within 3 working days, call within 7–10 working days)
- Contact to be made to all registered Action Duchenne members, knows to us in Scotland, to ensure the current support offer is clear
- Provide ongoing support tailored to individual needs, including emotional wellbeing, physical health, housing, financial security, self-esteem and respect, decision-making, social engagement, quality of life, and access to care
- Use the Action Duchenne Assessment Form and Action Plan to identify and respond to areas of concern
2. Transitions Support
· Lead transition support across all nations, with a focus on Scotland, for children and young people facing key life changes, including:
· Moving between educational settings such as primary to secondary
· Transitioning from paediatric to adult health services
· Changes in mobility and independence (e.g. transitioning to using powerchairs)
· You will lead, but expected to work collaboratively with the England-based Transition Coordinator to ensure consistency and continuity of support across the UK
· Develop resources, guidance, and workshops to support families through transitions
3. Wellbeing Tracking and Outcome Measurement
· Administer wellbeing questionnaires and record scores across key domains (e.g. physical health, emotional wellbeing, financial security)
· Collaborate with families to co-create action plans and track progress
· Ensure all data is entered into CRM (E-Tapestry or similar) within the allotted timeframe, i.e. immediately after or during the call.
4. Community Engagement and Event Delivery
· Organise and deliver regional meetups (minimum one per quarter)
· Facilitate support groups (virtual and in-person) for parents, young people, and extended family

Democracy Club brings a mailing list of 35,000, an active community of 1,200 volunteer contributors collaborating on election information, and strong digital and data expertise to the Network.
Our vision for the Network
Over the last year, we have carried out extensive consultation with members of the UK Democracy Network, the Network’s Steering Group and funders. Through this process, we have developed a new vision for the Network that is designed to reflect and support the diversity of the democracy sector, and the wide range of approaches, perspectives and organisations within it.
Our model is built around a series of smaller thematic, geographic and demographic-based “hubs” within the wider Network. These hubs will create spaces for organisations and individuals working on particular issues, in particular places, or with specific communities to collaborate more effectively, while remaining connected to the wider democracy ecosystem.
Alongside this, the Network will support stronger coordination and information sharing across the sector through activities such as a monthly bulletin, shared events, an annual conference and practical tools and databases that help partners collaborate more effectively.
Importantly, we want to build on and strengthen the excellent work that already exists across the democracy landscape, rather than duplicate it. Over time, we also hope the Network can help incubate and support new hubs and collaborations around emerging issues and opportunities within the democracy sector.
About the role
The Network will be delivered by a small core team: a Network Director (this role), a Network Manager (in post), and a Network Coordinator (to be recruited).
Our medium-term ambition is for the Network to become an independent organisation in its own right. About the Role
This is an exciting time to join Solace Women's Aid and North London Rape Crisis (NLRC). The NLRC Counselling Service provides specialist trauma-informed counselling to survivors of sexual violence and abuse. The postholder will hold 1:1 counselling sessions with survivors aged 11+ who have experience any form of sexual violence or abuse at any point in their lives. The post holder will provide this service primarily in the evening hours, with a minimum of 1 evening a week in person at our Islington office.
The postholder will be ensuring diversity and equity is at the centre of the service and service delivery, and that the service continues to be responsive to, and meet the needs of all survivors in a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive way.
About You
Successful applicants will have knowledge of sexual violence and its impact on victim/survivors. You will have strong time management and organisational skills, excellent collaborative working skills and knowledge the impacts of sexual violence on survivors. You will also be empathetic and work from a trauma-informed, person-centred framework. While experience of working with children 11+ is desirable, we welcome applicants who have experience of working with survivors aged 13+.
It is essential that you have experience of using Microsoft Office packages and the ability to use an online case management system. You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Purpose of the job
Thames21’s purpose is to deliver increasingly resilient and healthy rivers and landscapes that are closer to their natural state with an abundance of fish and wildlife, empowering and working with people to bring multiple benefits to the natural environment, to individuals and communities. To enable this, we are looking for a committed, self-motivated and technically capable River Restoration Manager to lead this work.
Candidates with a proven track record in delivering river restoration and/or habitat improvement projects, including experience managing contractors and in partnership with multiple public and private partners are encouraged to apply. This role is a key position in implementing Thames21 mission and the selected candidate will be part of a dynamic and committed team. You will have the chance to add input and help develop our Five-Year Strategic Plan goals and as a key position in the organisation, you will influence how we deliver our restoration goals.
Main duties and responsibilities
Work with Thames21’s Head of Improving Rivers and local stakeholders such as catchment partnerships, councils, Friends groups etc. to develop and deliver river and wetland restoration projects throughout the areas we work.
· Develop detailed plans for the river and wetland restoration in consultation with local and expert stakeholders, meeting local needs and ecological objectives. Ensuring the necessary requirements for Construction, Design and Management (CDM) are covered as part of that process.
· Obtain all necessary permissions to deliver the projects, potentially including flood defence consent and planning permission.
· Ensure that the development and implementation of the works are well integrated into wider programmes such as catchment partnerships, evidencing and community engagement.
· Work with project partners to develop and manage tender processes for works which require the use of contractors, the tender processes will need to meet relevant requirements for project partners and funders (including CDM).
· Ensure that the Team’s RAMS are all correct and up to date. As well as ensuring all H&S documentation is correct and filed within SharePoint.
· Manage contractors to implement projects so they achieve maximum benefits and alignment to project scope.
· In partnership with others, use a range of monitoring tools to record and quantify the impact of different activities. Ensuring this data is captured correctly and presented to the programme funder, to potential future project funders and available to other relevant parties.
· Support the development and delivery of watercourse Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) projects, including habitat condition assessment, monitoring, reporting and long-term management planning.
· Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
· Manage and support other staff in the development and delivery of restoration projects.
· Input to the strategic development of Thames21’s work particularly the Improving Rivers Portfolio.
