About the Role
 
Responsibilities will include:

• Lead delivery of key Local Offer programmes, such as our successful Peer Review and Peer Network Programme, which are designed to support Local Authorities and organisations in meeting the needs of young people and in the case of Local Authorities meet their Statutory Duty (section 507B).
• Manage the delivery of traded services relating to Quality Standards and Organisational Development.
• Manage and regularly update both existing and new online resources related to Quality Standards, ensuring consistency and standardisation across all materials.
• Collaborate with the National Curriculum and Learning Manager to influence the youth work curriculum and share learning and insight from programmes
• Work collaboratively with the Youth Investment Fund Programme Manager to inform and develop Quality Standards.
• Work with Local Policy & Partnerships Manager and the NYA Knowledge Team to develop sector insights and to share learning and knowledge across NYA teams and the youth work sector.
• Collaborate with Local Authorities and partner organisations to promote awareness and encourage participation in NYA programmes and Quality Standards.
• Utilise NYA tools, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Project Management systems, to generate timely and relevant performance and financial reports that support informed decision making and effective programme delivery. Experience of using project management platform (or similar) would be an advantage.
• Provide line-management and support to peers and officers as required.

 
Our ideal Local Quality Improvement Manager should have the following:

• Extensive experience working directly with young people across diverse settings, demonstrating a deep understanding of youth development and engagement.
• Demonstrated expertise managing youth work programmes and improving practice standards, including within Local Authority contexts.
• Proven experience in assessing youth work against established standards and implementing quality assurance processes for effective management, delivery, and evaluation.
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in embedding best practices in youth voice, participation, and leadership within services and programmes.
• Strong understanding of the current challenges facing Local Authorities and youth sector organisations, and the implications for young people’s needs and service delivery.
• Ability to analyse complex organisational and Local Authority structures, reflect critically, and articulate clear recommendations for improvement and recognition of effective practice.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with experience supporting and managing peers and officers in a collaborative environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate teams and work effectively with partners and stakeholders.
• Proven experience in project management, with a proactive, self-starting approach and a strong focus on solutions and outcomes.

Born out of the COVID-19 crisis, DLAG is now one of London’s most dynamic community support networks. We’ve mobilised over 3,000 volunteers to deliver food parcels, household essentials, digital access, and more to thousands of people across Merton, Wandsworth and Kingston.

About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and skilled Communications and Fundraising Coordinator to lead the delivery of our comms and fundraising strategies. You'll work alongside a passionate team of staff and volunteers to grow our impact and help drive support for DLAG’s life-changing work.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and wants to play a vital role in strengthening local communities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, schedule and deliver marketing plans and social media campaigns
• Prepare and distribute fundraising and donor materials (e.g. newsletters, raffle collateral, digital campaigns)
• Administer JustGiving and Enthuse platforms for campaigns and events
• Coordinate the production of marketing assets with volunteer graphic designers
• Create monthly impact reports and manage marketing dashboards
• Oversee the CRM/database — adding donor, school and corporate contacts
• Support event planning and donor recognition activities
• Line-manage the Volunteer Fundraising Administrator and Newsletter Editor
• Report directly to the Director and work collaboratively with the volunteer marketing team
• Research areas of greatest need in our three boroughs to ensure we continue to reach out to these communities

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in charity communications, fundraising and admin
• Excellent writing and project coordination skills
• Confidence using fundraising platforms and CRM tools
• A self-starter with great time management and attention to detail

Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health globally, tackling mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, testicular cancer.In our mission to stop men dying too young, we’re recruiting a Fundraising Executive to join our Irish team and help deliver our hugely successful annual charity campaign. 

This Is a Fixed Term Contract from July to December 2025.

You will be part of our vibrant and energetic team supporting our fundraising community and the delivery of the Movember campaign across Ireland. This is a hybrid role, with the option to work remotely but there will be the expectation to be in the Dublin Office two to three days weekly.We encourage applications from all backgrounds and communities and are committed to having a team that is made up of diverse skills, experiences and abilities.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Be the voice of Movember and the first point of contact for supporters in Ireland, responding to all telephone and email enquiries from our community in a fast and effective manner.
• Processing donations and gift matching requests efficiently.
• Supporting the Fundraising team on research, outreach, data management and project work as required.
• Supporting the management of the IE social media inboxes and fundraising pages.
• Identifying any patterns or issues with the website, and reporting these to the Fundraising Manager and Country Manager.
• Supporting our post-campaign thanking plan.
• Supporting office management; including collecting, processing and sending post, and ordering supplies to be used by the team.
• Responding to ad-hoc requests as needed.
• Helping execute the distribution of merch to our key supporters.
• Attending local events, where necessary, to give our fundraisers a remarkable experience, which can include work at evenings and weekends.

Support Fundraising Managers:

• Assist with tasks as required for to support driving income, specifically within Sport, Community and Workplace audience
• Identify and develop opportunities within identified community audiences to create a pipeline of new prospects in Ireland
• Secure new supporters to meet annual acquisition and income targets, and other organisational targets in line with the wider strategy
• Other tasks as assigned by Fundraising team to meet income and audience goals

For this role, you’ll need:

• 1-2 years’ experience in a relevant role, such as fundraising or customer services
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A passion for delivering excellent customer service
• Great organisation skills and ability to prioritise
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• To work well under pressure and to deadlines, with excellent attention to detail
• Be a great team player
• A high degree of self-motivation and initiative

Desirable:

• Experience using SalesForce and Asana

GOOD CAUSE:
Working for Movember, you’ll help raise millions for men’s health (not for a CEO’s bonus). And all those dollars do a whole lotta good. We’ve funded cancer research. Created lifesaving medicines. And helped make cancer treatments less “one-size-fits-all”, and more specific to each patient’s needs.

About the role

Primarily, Consultants work in project teams, led by a Senior Consultant or Manager, to deliver consultancy project work to external clients (e.g. charities, social enterprises, foundations), using existing Spring Impact methodologies. This work includes:

• Contributing, through analysis and critical thinking, to shaping the strategic direction of projects and recommendations to partners

• Preparing first draft documents, slide decks, write ups, reports etc

• Conducting interviews and focus groups

• Supporting workshop design and co-facilitating

• Delivering training workshops

• Develop financial models (you will be trained to do this!)

• Conduct desk-based research, interviews and focus groups with partners, stakeholders and their beneficiaries

• Coordinate project administration and logistics

Beyond working with our partners, there is the opportunity to contribute to internal activities such as:

• Contributing to best practice and methodology development and codification, 

• Improving our Monitoring & Evaluation,

• Developing our external communications 

• Developing proposals for new and existing clients

Your first six months

You will learn about our approach to working with others, and creating impact at scale, through a mix of team-led training, project-shadowing and self-directed study.

Within the first two weeks, you’ll be introduced to clients and begin to support internal teams to deliver consulting, coaching and training. You will work on a mix of UK- and internationally-focused projects, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients to navigate challenges on their journeys to scale.

Key Details

• Salary: £34,500 - £36,250

• Full-Time

• Location: London (Southwark) – The post holder will be expected to spend a minimum of one day per week in the London office. There may be opportunities to travel outside of the UK for work purposes, though this is optional. We actively support flexible and home working.
