We are looking to recruit a Fundraising and Legacy Administrator to provide administrative support within the Individual Giving and Gifts in Wills team and ensure all daily tasks and objectives are met in collaboration with the Fundraising Administrator. 

This is an exciting role in our Fundraising team that will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of the legacy administration, and for providing monthly legacy income forecasting reports. You will also support the Individual Giving & Gifts in Wills Manager in the implementation of the legacy marketing strategy, lead in the management of the charity database and lead in the processing of recording and thanking supporters for their donations. In addition to this, you will work closely with the finance team to ensure that all fundraising income is coded correctly and that regular Gift Aid payment runs are executed.

•  Provide insights for service delivery improvements based on your operational experience.  Maintain accurate and secure records of data logs.

Guest Interaction

•  Communicate sensitively and compassionately with guests, explaining key information about our services through phone, email, or text.
•  Invite new guests to our services over the phone, directing them to arrive that evening.  Manage guest inquiries, referring them to appropriate personnel within Glass Door.

General

Essential

•  Ability to work remotely and independently.

About the role

Corporate Partnerships are a vital income stream for Habitat for Humanity GB, and with the guidance of our Head of Corporate, the Corporate Partnership Manager will work to maximize fundraising opportunities and strengthen relationships with our current partners.

What the role involves

The Partnerships Manager will help to retain long term support and drive growth within in our portfolio for Habitat for Humanity GB. · Develop creative and innovative fundraising strategies for corporate partnerships, including writing proposals and pitches.

Contract: Permanent, Flexible working arrangements considered (3.5 to 5 days a week)
Location: The successful candidate will be required to live within a commutable distance to the Bradford, Peterborough or Camberley office with travel to other sites as required.
Salary: The spot salary for this post is £43,322 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.

They’re looking for a Policy Advisor to join their Strategy, Policy & Insights team. As their Policy Advisor, you’ll be responsible for supporting the development and reviewing of policies that support the strategic objectives of our client.

This role will support the Senior Policy Advisor with extensive research, stakeholder engagement, and the creation of evidence-based policy recommendations to ensure that our client meets its regulatory and legislative requirements, enhances service delivery, and promotes sustainable housing solutions.

To be successful the Policy Advisor will need to work closely with the Senior Policy Advisor to ensure policies are fit for purpose, understood, and followed by all relevant colleagues. 

This is an exciting opportunity as you’ll be involved in setting up and shaping our client's Policy function, supporting their Corporate Strategy of delivering lasting change. This is a dynamic role with a national remit.

What skills/behaviours do you need to be a Policy Advisor?

- Proven experience in policy development, research, and analysis within the housing sector
- Strong understanding of housing legislation, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment

Our Bank Support Worker roles are similar to our Support Workers roles, but they work on a more flexible, temporary basis – so if you don’t want to commit to a regular working pattern and prefer to pick up shifts that work for you, when they are available, this role is for you. It's also a great way into the organisation and can be a stepping stone into other roles. 

Our Brighton & Hove Services provide supported accommodation for 50 young people at risk of homelessness across two sites - Lansworth House and Gareth Stacey House. They are both 24-hour supported housing projects offering high and medium levels of housing-related support for young people aged of 16- 25. We provide support to our residents to help them build essential life skills, identify their goals and work towards aspirations so that they can move on to enjoy fully independent futures. Each Support Worker holds a caseload of residents and meets with them weekly to build a support plan and help them achieve their goals. 

We are looking for Supported Housing Bank Support Workers to join the team - you will bring your own individual and unique qualities to the team for the betterment of the team dynamic. You will contribute to the smooth and safe running of the services, along with supporting young people to develop living skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, managing behaviour, seeking and securing employment and making wise decisions. When required you will record any incidents, accidents and safeguarding issues and share information with relevant colleagues. You will also undertake housing management and health and safety-related tasks as required.

You will ideally have experience of working with a similar client group and a good understanding of the key risks, challenges and opportunities for young people. Emmaus Oxford is in the process of setting up a digital learning centre to deliver accredited digital literacy qualifications to our companions [what we call those ex-homeless men and women that form our community]. People experiencing socio-economic exclusion are further marginalised if they lack basic digital skills. A lack of digital proficiency can prevent companions at Emmaus from successfully engaging in essential life tasks, such as applying for jobs and housing, completing online forms (e.g. universal credit forms), paying bills, managing bank accounts, as well as day-to-day activities like booking / attending remote GP appointments.

We are conducting a 20-week pilot to deliver the Essential Digital Skills (EDS) Level 1 Qualification. The qualification will be offered onsite in our learning hub. Your role, as digital coach, will be to deliver the course to companions in a manner that supports their individual learning and well-being needs. The role includes recording lessons learned and making recommendations on the roll-out of further digital skills qualifications and courses

The Digital Coach will be responsible to deliver the Essential Digital Skills (EDS) Level 1 Qualification Pilot Project. You will support companions to develop digital and life skills so that they realise their full potential to find employment and move on from Emmaus when they are ready.

Part of an award-winning Communication & Policy Department, our Scottish Empty Homes Partnership (SEHP) is a Scottish Government funded project aimed at enabling private sector empty homes to be brought back into use across Scotland. 

The Partnership achieves this via a mix of policy work, capacity building, training, best practice sharing and awareness raising with councils, community groups and others. It’s also home to the national Empty Homes Advice Service - a public facing advice line that anyone can call for help or to report an empty home.
