We are looking for 3 people to join the St Mungo’s Rough Sleeping Service as Housing Led Workers on fixed term contracts until March 2027. (2x Full Time, and 1 Part time).

The team will work in partnership with the Oxford Rough Sleeping Service, and in partnership with local partner agencies to provide long term tenancy sustainment support to clients experiencing homelessness. Our aim is to support people to access suitable accommodation; and move-on with the right support in place.

In the role of Housing Led Worker you will work as part of a team to oversee the day-to-day delivery of the service. Managing a caseload of around 15-20 clients you will:

• Provide personalised, flexible support that helps clients access the right services for their mental and physical health, substance use, community engagement, learning, training, and employment.
• Deliver intensive, ongoing support to help clients establish their home, sustain their tenancy, and work towards their personal goals and aspirations.
• Work in partnership with clients, using a creative and strengths-based approach to help people manage tenancy, build independence, and rebuild their lives in the community.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners.
• We will provide support and supervision to help you work independently and comfortably as a lone worker to support clients and effectively manage your own caseload.

Reporting to the Director of Services, as Supported Housing Manager you will have responsibility for the opening and day to day management of a new six unit LGBTQ+ housing scheme, working to create a safe, welcoming and psychologically-informed home environment for all beneficiaries. As Supported Housing Manager you will oversee a small, committed team of frontline staff, and will work to ensure that the support delivered is person-centered, holistic and to the highest quality. Acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will ensure that team members fulfil their duties in safeguarding children and young people in line with company policies, and will work in partnership with a range of agencies to achieve best possible outcomes for all service users. The Housing Management Officer plays a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality, end‑to‑end tenancy and property management across a diverse portfolio of 50–100 supported accommodation units. Working at the intersection of housing law, welfare systems, and resident wellbeing, the postholder ensures smooth tenancy sustainment, legal compliance, and strong financial performance. This includes leading on onboarding and exit processes, embedding a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIPE) approach, maintaining GDPR‑compliant records, and monitoring tenancy issues through internal reporting tools. The role also requires close collaboration with Registered Providers, Local Authorities, the DWP, and Housing Benefit teams to ensure seamless service delivery and regulatory compliance.

A key focus of the role is proactive income management, from rent and service charge collection to arrears prevention and recovery. The officer provides expert guidance on housing benefit, managing claims, appeals, and overpayments while overseeing invoicing and financial reconciliation with external agencies. Alongside this, they coordinate timely repairs and maintenance, ensuring issues are escalated and resolved efficiently while keeping residents and support teams fully informed. This is a dynamic, hands‑on position for someone who thrives on responsibility, partnership working, and making a meaningful impact on tenancy stability and resident experience.

What do I need to bring with me?

You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. To apply for this role, you'll need solid experience in rent collection and arrears recovery, along with a good working knowledge of the pre‑action protocol. Experience supporting vulnerable people is essential; whether that's individuals dealing with mental health challenges, homelessness, or domestic abuse, we're looking for someone who has worked closely with local authorities, support workers, and other partner agencies, and who understands the day‑to‑day realities of tenancy and housing management.

We're looking for an organised and proactive Housing Administrator to join our small, friendly team. This is a key role providing comprehensive administrative support across our housing service, coordinating repairs and maintenance, assisting with letting our empty homes and ensuring full compliance with health and safety and statutory requirements.

You’ll have real impact, helping us improve our services, support tenants, and keep everything running smoothly, so no two days will be the same.

You’ll be a first point of contact for tenants, contractors and colleagues, ensuring efficient communication and a positive customer experience. Working closely with your colleagues you’ll help us to maintain excellent service delivery and uphold our compliance standards across our 165 homes.

What you'll be doing:

• Coordinate day to day housing administration including lettings, tenancy updates, and customer enquiries.

• Assist with our empty homes from tenancy termination through to re-let.
• Support the delivery and monitoring of all compliance activities, including gas, electrical, fire, legionella, and asbestos safety checks.

This role requires travel to our housing schemes in Newmarket, with flexibility to work some evenings and weekends.

About you

Prior experience in housing, property management, or a similar administrative role is highly desirable, particularly with exposure to repairs, voids, and compliance processes.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and energetic supervisor or team leader to take up a full-time role within our organisation as a Operations Supervisor to be part of our small and dedicated team. The role will be based in Southwark as well as potential for wider London working as you will be part several innovative housing projects in London supporting vulnerable households to sustain their tenancies. As well as a team line manager, you will be maintaining and developing partnership with the Council’s housing officers, solicitors, landlords, community services, social prescribers, and mental health support workers to ensure tailored support can be offered for each client. The objectives of these programmes are to avoid evictions, sustain tenancies, increase employment opportunities, improve wellbeing, and increase educational outcomes. About you   

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in staff management and project leadership, knowledge of housing polices, and with proven experience working with individuals who have complex needs. 

You will be responsible for managing and developing partnerships, supporting data collection for reports and monitoring, and contributing to quality assurance processes. In addition, you will hold a small caseload, providing direct, holistic support to individuals as part of your role. 

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and highly organised. You should be confident working independently, with a genuine passion for driving positive change. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to provide holistic support and think creatively to find solutions.

About the role 

Based in the PDT team this role will contribute towards Your Place’s overarching mission to end homelessness one person at a time and meet organisational KPI’s around outcome based contracts.

In response to an increasing proportion of residents who have been referred to us holding refugee status we are seeking to develop our supported accommodation services to meet the particular needs of this group.

This role will be responsible for developing our services to make them more accessible to our resident population who are from a migrant background. This includes:

Responsibilities 

• To work with residents/tenants to develop culturally accessible resources to prepare them for a move to appropriate accommodation, including advice and support on move-on accommodation, rent deposit schemes, understanding tenancies, budgeting, accessing utilities and services, and accessing welfare/housing benefits and grants.

• Identify and liaise with landlords, building relationships to secure move on accommodation for residents. Negotiate reasonable rents and deposit/advance payments.

• Receive details of appropriate properties from landlords, view property for suitability and carry out Health & Safety check.

• Ensure that properties meet relevant standards for safe occupancy (Housing Health & Safety Rating Systems, LA Licencing).

• Where residents have additional support or care needs to lead and co-ordinate on finding specialist accommodation.

• Keep up to date and inform team on changes in law, local authority conditions and benefits that affect move on. Respond to changes and implement strategy.

What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you’ll provide high quality, person centred housing support to adults and families living in temporary accommodation, helping them build the skills and confidence needed to sustain their tenancies and move on successfully. You’ll work flexibly, delivering 1-to-1 support both over the phone and through home visits, adapting your approach to meet the diverse needs, backgrounds, and circumstances of each household. • Signposting & Advocacy: Identifying additional needs such as mental health, employment, or substance misuse, and connecting tenants to specialist external agencies.

• Team Collaboration: Providing “roving” support to colleagues and assisting at other schemes when required to ensure continuity of service.
