Join Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust (GWT) and use your finance skills to support nature’s recovery across Gloucestershire. We’re looking for an experienced Finance Manager / Financial Accountant to lead the day-to-day running of our finance function. This is a hands-on role overseeing transactional finance and payroll, strengthening financial controls, and improving board reporting — with line management responsibility for two Finance Officers.

The role
Working to the COO, the Finance & CRM Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day finance function and overseeing the operation, data quality, and user support of the organisation’s new CRM system. The role encompasses financial processes, CRM data and reporting, governance, and wider organisational activity.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Administration
• Manage finance operations: ledgers, payment runs, reconciliations, VAT and Gift Aid where applicable.
• Work with the external payroll bureau to prepare monthly payroll.

• Run and validate financial reports and prepare monthly management accounts.

About CoppaFeel!
CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.
We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.

The Role
We’re excited to be creating a new Head of People role to support the next phase of our charity’s development. The role provides strategic leadership, expert input and operational oversight of CoppaFeel!’s people, culture and employment practices, aligned with organisational strategy, values and governance.
Blending strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, the role operates with professional autonomy within the People remit and works in close partnership with the Director of Operations, who retains overall accountability. Duties and Responsibilities

Your role
The People and Culture Lead will be working closely with the Head of People and Culture to ensure recruitment, onboarding, employee reward, employment relations, learning and development and projects serve the long-term goals of CMS.
You are responsible for delivering professional HR service that supports our operations, vision and strategy. This applies specifically to UK contracted staff (some of whom work overseas) and providing support for volunteers (including CMS Trustees) and consultants.
