Campaigns Manager Jobs
We are looking for a motivated, creative, and organised Engagement and Communications Officer to join our team. This role is a unique opportunity for someone with a passion for building a fairer legal system through impactful events, engaging member outreach, and powerful communications. Working alongside the Director of Development and the Head of Communications, this role will work across teams to maintain and strengthen engagement through events, communications and corporate outreach. You will play an integral role in communicating our work as widely as possible and improving and increasing engagement with our supporters, including our members, donors and corporate partners.
The Engagement and Communications Officer will work to maximise income and support for JUSTICE through events (approximately 45% of the role), communications (approximately 30% of the role) and membership (approximately 25% of the role). They will report to the Director of Development and Head of Communications.
We want someone who can learn and grow in this role so if you don’t have every skill listed but are organised, motivated, and interested in our work then we want to hear from you.
The JUSTICE team currently work in a hybrid manner. Staff members have access to office space in London, however, attendance is currently optional. Our staff enjoy flexible working conditions, 27 days annual leave, plus the week between Christmas and the New Year, 8% employer pension contribution and access to an Employee Assistance Programme.

Salary: £32,076 starting salary (salary range will increase due to max £34,834 via the length of service) per annum (pro rata where applicable).
Contract: Full-time, fixed-term basis until 30 April 2025, with the possibility of further funding.
Hours: Full-Time 35 hours per week (excluding lunch breaks), although there may be some flexibility around this for the ideal candidate.
Location: The post holder will be based in the Refugee Action Manchester office with regular travel across Greater Manchester. Flexible home working will be considered on non-client facing days.

- Commitment to removing barriers to power for people with lived experience, and commitment to anti-racist practices.
- Understanding of how the UK’s hostile refugee protection and asylum system impacts those affected by it.
- Experience and understanding of cultural diversity and the ability to work with people from a range of different cultures.
- Understanding and experience of working with and supervising volunteers.
- Experience and understanding of how to provide high quality face-to-face group information sessions with the ability to collate information and present in different ways in order to reach different target groups.
- Excellent liaison and networking skills and the ability to work in partnership with external agencies.
- Knowledge of the asylum process and the barriers faced by people going through this process.
- Understanding of and commitment to key advice principles such as confidentiality, impartiality and non-directive approaches and a commitment to equality of opportunity.
- Excellent written communication skills and experience in presenting clear and accurate written documents to present evidence and advocate.
- Understanding of the impact of working with people in a situation of transition and uncertainty, and of appropriate ways of handling that impact at work.
- Ability to plan and manage workload within tight timeframes including the ability to record the data for monitoring purpose.
- Understanding of Safeguarding policy and good practice and experience of working with clients with complex needs according to these policies.
- Ability and commitment to reflect on your practice and a commitment to continual professional development and learning.
- Ability to plan and carry out monitoring and evaluation processes on an ongoing basis and to present the findings in a clear way.
- OISC accreditation is desirable but the post-holder will be supported to qualify at OISC 2 if not already accredited.

Age UK Sutton is looking for someone to join the Let’s Connect programme team as a Digital Inclusion Project Coordinator supporting older people to develop digital skills and improve their access to digital services.
You will champion the service and be responsible for working with people from initial referral completing assessments to understand a person’s situation, creating a goals-based plan to support clients to access digital skills training through group and 121 offers. You will work with older people to enable them to become more confident in using digital equipment such as tablets and smartphones through arranging and delivering digital skills training sessions in both group and 121 settings.
This will be a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, no two days will be the same and you will be making a valuable difference to older people living in Sutton.

MAG is for looking for a highly motivated and dynamic and experienced governance professional who will contribute to the continuous development and growth of the organisation, to join the team as our Head of Governance. You will provide high-quality, strategic corporate governance advice and operational secretariat support to MAG’s Board of Trustees and Leadership Team to ensure that our governance arrangements are efficient and effective as well as comply with regulatory and internal requirements and sector best practice. About you:
We are looking for an experienced governance professional, who has demonstrable experience of supporting and advising a Board of Trustees and its Executive, as our new Company Secretary. You will have experience of working with the Charity Commission and as a Data Protection Officer. Additionally, your ability to analyse and interpret complex data and present written and verbal information in a clear and concise manner is an essential aspect of this role.
You must be able to advise Boards and Executives comprehensively and succinctly on corporate governance matters and excel at building and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues across all levels of an organisation and key external stakeholders (e.g. regulators and external advisors). Experience of having worked for an international NGO or comparable organisation is ideal not essential.
