About the role
Church Engagement and Fundraising Officers (CEFO) inspire churches and individuals to be agents of change within Christian Aid, to live our values and mission to overcome poverty. Your role will offer bespoke support, often face-to-face, to a defined set of churches and Christian Aid groups enabling and enriching their contributions. As a CEFO you will motivate churches, groups and individuals to give, act and pray building on the agency of supporters and developing volunteers within their area of work.

Admin Officer - Resilient Water Accelerator
Contract: Permanent, Full Time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £33,233 - £34,894 with excellent benefits

About the Team:
The Resilient Water Accelerator (RWA), hosted by WaterAid, is a global initiative that aims to:
- Address the climate impacts on water to strengthen resilience in vulnerable communities;
- Secure greater investment from public and private sources in water infrastructure and services;
- Ensure this work can be replicated and scaled to increase long term water security.
To achieve this we will work with policy makers, experts, investors and communities to identify critical climate risks to water and shape a business case for priority projects.
We will work to ensure these projects act as positive examples of a new approach to programme development in the water and climate sectors.
This role will play an essential part in delivering our international programme of work.
As the Admin Officer, you will be a critical part of the Global Secretariat- helping to link the different parts of the RWA together and co-ordinate with our partners around the world.
About the Role:
You will work with the Senior Management Team to ensure the team can deliver our work to the high standards we set for ourselves. As the RWA delivers its ambitious programme of work the post holder will ensure we are delivering high quality events, prompt and regular engagement with key stakeholders, and rapid and consistent processing of contracts, payments and reporting for donors and suppliers. This will require the ability to build an understand of the processes and objectives of WaterAid and the Resilient Water Accelerator so that we respond appropriately to work and opportunities as they arise, and are conducted in line with agreed policies and procedures.
You will be accountable for:
- Providing support and solutions as the RWA puts in place new structures and systems ahead of independence, working with SMT to explore the practical and regulatory steps towards building our own independent systems.
- Take the lead in engaging with WaterAid's finance processing systems
- Process payments
- Develop contracts and due diligence
- Prepare invoices and work with the team to develop budget forecasts
- Support events and publications
- Help the team engage designers and publicity services for event and publications
- Support planning and project management for events and publications
- Liaise with WaterAid's communications team to ensure visibility of RWA activities
- Support Hiring and Training
- Support the recruitment and onboarding process for new staff, organising recruitment campaigns, working with WaterAid's People Team, and liaising with candidates.
- Supporting staff activities, including logistics for travel and accommodation for training, aways days and in-person meetings
About You:

Fundraising and communications at WaterAid is ambitious, dynamic and rewarding. This post sits within the Digital Content and Experience team (DCX), which manages our online platforms and content, and delivers unique digital experiences designed to raise awareness, inspire brand love and stimulate action through a variety of channels. About the Role:
As our creative and meticulous Digital Editor you will take day-to-day responsibility for content on WaterAid's UK audience focussed digital channels, creating high-quality, user-centred material which compels people to act, while communicating organisational priorities.
In this role, you will create, commission and publish first-class digital content in a variety of formats (text, image, video etc.) to support our communications, fundraising and advocacy objectives, across web, social and email.
You’ll also:
- Act as digital lead for select projects, planning and developing web, social and email components, working across all levels to influence, advise and negotiate this content.
- Work closely with colleagues across Fundraising and Communications to ensure integration and consistency of messages with all campaign activity, and ensuring content meets the needs of identified audiences.
- Demonstrate a meticulous attention to spelling, grammar and editorial style, adhering to guidelines and ensuring copy is suitable for its target audience.
- Analyse web, email and social traffic data to maximise the potential of all content.
About You:
- A track record in, and passion for, digital communications and copywriting.
- A solid understanding of content design, SEO techniques, user experience and web accessibility.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, analysing large amounts of data and making decisions that bring about positive change.
- Significant experience of working with content management systems and basic HTML.
- Strategic understanding of the social media landscape, platform best practice and social media marketing.
Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:
- Excellent stakeholder and project management skills, diplomacy, written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in the third sector in a digital content role.

Title: Trusts Executive
Salary: £40,000 per year
Location: UK remote - with a commitment to attend important meetings / training sessions in person in Haywards Heath or UK locations, up to 7 times a year. Availability to travel overseas for events/project visits up to one week a year, if required.

You will be responsible for:
- Supporting the events team in the planning, coordinating, administration and delivery of World Jewish Relief events including our flagship Annual Dinner.
- Managing and leading on the planning of smaller engagement and fundraising events both in person and online.

You should have:

- Lead and manage the payroll process, liaising with both the finance and people teams, employees and the outsourced payroll providers.

Contract Responsibilities
·Assist with proposal and tender submission, including preparing project budgets and schedules, liaising with prospective staff and ensuring all proposals are submitted within the respective deadlines

Role Description
This role will contribute to A4ID’s mission of promoting the UN SDGs, the power of pro bono, and strengthening the rule of law by focusing on climate change and environmental conservation.
The Project Manager will oversee the delivery of a project focused on combatting the Illegal Wildlife Trade (IWT) in the Kavango Zambezi (KAZA) region in Southern Africa. This will include convening partnership stakeholders for project planning and development, devising and implementing activity plans, sourcing experts and developing monitoring and evaluation. This role contributes to building the capacity of legal actors on needed legal support and expertise to tackle issues such as illegal wildlife trade in Southern Africa, as well as climate mitigation and adaptation around the world, particularly in low to middle-income countries. The Project Manager will also have opportunities to engage in coordination and learning activities, representing the KAZA project as part of A4ID’s broader portfolio.
You will lead on and advance A4ID’s climate-related and environmental projects, including related business development and developing and supporting new service offerings and products. The role will also support A4ID teams in relation to climate and environmental projects (including strategic pro bono projects) and will contribute to thought leadership, enhancing knowledge generation, and communications.
You will be based in A4ID’s London office, with possible travel to Southern Africa. This is a full-time (35 hours per week), fixed-term role for one year with annual extensions possible.
