About this Role

Together with the Director of Fundraising, the Philanthropy Manager will develop and deliver the Philanthropy Strategy, with the support of the Philanthropy Assistant.  This is a significant part of the organisation’s overall Supporter Engagement Strategy which focuses specifically on unrestricted income generation.  This role will raise unrestricted income through the development of Amref UK’s Major Gifts programme - the Mbele Movement - by identifying and cultivating new high net worth supporters, and inspiring them to make unrestricted, multi-year major gifts, in line with the Philanthropy Strategy. The Philanthropy Manager is also responsible for nurturing and growing our existing portfolio of philanthropists and philanthropic organisations by building strong relationships and securing unrestricted income in line with the Supporter Engagement Strategy.

As one of our Communications Managers you will employ strategic, insight-driven and creative approaches to communicate WaterAid's impact and engage target audiences in WaterAid's mission. In this role you will develop communications strategies which helps WaterAid maximise brand-reach and income-raising potential and lead cross-functional teams to execute them.

You'll also: 

• Specialise in the development of bespoke activity for key partnerships and private sector audiences, in close consultation with external partners.

• Own and be responsible for the development of Strategic Communications Frameworks, which enable multi-disciplinary teams to work cohesively and effectively.

About You:

• Education to a degree level or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrable experience in developing, leading and executing high quality, effective communications strategies that achieve desired results.
• Experience in designing communications campaigns for a range of target audiences and advising on optimum distribution channels to reach them.
• Experience working in, or in partnership with, the private sector, with a sound understanding of corporate social responsibility and sustainability.
• Excellent time management skills, able to prioritise work across multiple projects to meet deadline.
• Ability to generate and develop creative and innovative ideas, with a good eye for brand, design, film and photography.

Consultancy Title: Microsoft Apps Developer for Travel Request Automation

Location(s) where the Services are to be performed: Remote

Dates: to start in May 2023, and expected to be developed, tested and live within 3 months

Role Classification: Depending on the nature of services this contract will require the consultant delivering these services to have undertaken Standard or Advanced pre contracting checks

Scope and Nature of Services

Relief International (RI) is a leading nonprofit organization working in 14 countries to relieve poverty, ensure well-being and advance dignity. We specialize in fragile settings, responding to natural disasters, humanitarian crises and chronic poverty. 

RI is seeking proposals from Microsoft App developers to develop an automated Travel Request Form (Lot 1) and Expenses Claim Form (Lot 2) within RIs Microsoft environment. The Forms will need to be able to populate relevant budget code data from RIs finance management system (Oracle Netsuite), use RIs single sign on (SSO) and MS Identity Service (EntraID) and preferably be able to work offline (sync’ing when the user has internet connectivity). Based on the data collected in the forms RI also requires a dashboard of relevant data to be generated using PowerBI (Lot 3).

Developers should bid for both Lot 1 and Lot 2 separately. The fees for Lot 3 (PowerBI) will be agreed with the successful bidder on completion of the initial scope of work related to Lots 1 and 2 and as such no quote is required for Lot 3 in this submission..

RI is open to revising its requirements based on recommendations from a developer where this can improve the functioning of the forms.

RIs IT department will be part of the developer selection process, and will review and sign off on all deliverables prior to any payment.

Lot 1: Travel Request Automation Requirements

A Travel Request (TR) form is to be created in Microsoft (MS) Apps, with an approval workflow automated using MS Automate, and using MS Lists if needed. It will be run on RIs SharePoint, and accessed the RI Sharepoint MyApps page. It can also preferably be used offline, with the data synchronising when a user has internet access. 

Any RI staff can access and create a TR and submit it for approval in the RI MS environment. The fields for the TR are defined in Annex 1. Note that Annex 1 is broadly based on the RI pdf Travel Request form (with some differences), which is available in Annex 5.

Once a TR is submitted for approval it obtains a system generated unique serial number and follows the approval process and subsequent actions as outlined in Annex 2.

Once a TR is approved a traveller receives an approved TR via email, with a link to a form they can save and/or print, which they use to book relevant travel.

Traveller draft and approved TRs will be available for a traveller to access at any time on a dashboard within the RI Microsoft environment that only shows those relevant to the Travellers RI email address.

Lot 2: Expenses Claim Form Automation Requirements

A form is to be created to support Expense Claims and Cash Advance Settlements, called the Expense Report Form (ERF). 

The ERF is to be created in Microsoft (MS) Apps, with an approval workflow automated using MS Automate, and using MS Lists if needed. It will be run on RIs SharePoint, and accessed the RI Sharepoint MyApps page. It can also preferably be used offline, with the data synchronising when a user has internet access. Any RI user with access to RI SharePoint can complete and submit this form. Based on the data collected in the forms RI also requires a dashboard of relevant data to be generated using PowerBI (Lot 3)

Any RI staff can access and create an ERF and submit it for approval in the RI MS environment. The fields for the ERF are defined in Annex 3. Note that Annex 3 is broadly based on the RI Expenses Claim Form (with some differences), which is available in Annex 6.

The ERF must be able to link with an approved TR (lot 1) in such a way that once a user has opened a new ERF they can point the ERF to a particular TR which then auto-populates relevant fields into the ERF (see Annex 3)

Once an ERF is submitted for approval it obtains a system generated unique serial number and follows the approval process and resulting actions as outlined in Annex 4.

Once a TR is approved a traveller receives an approved TR via email, with a link to a form they can save and/or print, which they use to book relevant travel.

Consultant Profile and Submission Requirements

RI is seeking a developer who

• Has significant experience with developing such automations within customer Microsoft systems
• Is registered as a consultant and can provide formal invoices against which payment will be made within 30 days of satisfactory sign off of work by RI

Proposals must include

• The developers CV, showing relevant experience with MS Apps, MS Automate, MS Identity Services, MS Identity Service (EntraID), MS Lists and MS PowerBI, as well as experience with integrating data from other systems (e.g. Oracle Netsuite)
• A supporting letter with
  • a fixed price cost for Lot 1 and Lot 2 separately, including any VAT
  • your hourly or daily rate for any additional work related to Lot 3
  • examples of similar work completed in the past 2 years
  • a proposed timeline for the work, which must include
    • at least 1 detailed scoping session with relevant RI staff to finalise the requirements
    • at least 2 review cycles by RI staff to ensure the final product meets RIs needs.

The Learning and Development Coordinator also works in partnership with external partners, including members of RedR’s Associate Trainer network, as well as other RedR organisations, partners and clients.

ABOUT THIS ROLE 

The Learning and Development Coordinator is an essential role within the Learning and Development Team and the Programmes Team more generally. The staff will closely work and coordinate with other members of the L&D Team as well as Programme Managers, Coordinators and Officers, Associate Trainers and Consultants, etc. The L&D Coordinator designs and adapts RedR UK training materials as well as providing technical L&D support and quality assurance to the broader Programmes Team. In particular, this role will focus on building and strengthening RedR UK’s self-paced eLearning offerings. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Main Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities 

Ensure that the quality of our L&D services and material is maintained, improved and expanded: 

• Contribute to guiding, standardising and quality assuring the conversion of learning/training material, content and courses or course modules to e-learning 
• Contribute to updating, maintaining and expanding RedR UK L&D and training material and resources, store & categorise them, and make them accessible
• Contribute to the update and maintenance of RedR UK’s e-learning and open-source learning platforms
• Provide quality assurance of project outputs or deliverables and assist in drafting high quality reports
• Contribute to the development or updating of RedR UK’s L&D and eLearning strategies 

Support the delivery of RedR UK's demand-led services to a consistently high standard: 

• Provide an end-to-end service - designing, supporting, quality assuring and evaluating the delivery of learning interventions, including developing new training and capacity development services (F2F, online facilitated and eLearning), particularly in connection with RedR UK’s self-paced eLearning offerings 
• Coordinate with the L&D team on planning and scheduling of L&D activities and liaise with colleagues across RedR UK to ensure uniform high quality of services 
• Where appropriate, design and/or deliver learning/training services directly to the participants 
• Where appropriate and agreed by line manager, lead the execution of selected projects, especially L&D projects 
• Assist in ensuring that necessary monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) data is gathered and analysed on all activities 

Support Network of Associate Trainers (ATs) and L&D Consultants to effectively deliver RedR UK's services: 

• Support the capacity building of ATs in L&D and technical Quality Assurance related matters, including introduction to RedR UK training methodologies, innovative training techniques, new training tools, etc. 
• Contribute to the recruitment, assessment and onboarding of prospective new Associate Trainers (ATs) into the trainer pool and/or on specific projects as required 
• Coordinate the work, performance, and planning of Associate Trainers when working under the L&D Unit. Quality-assure their work when working under Programmes Hubs 

Ensure that RedR UK services meet the needs of the sector and work to expand our reach: 

• Keep up to date with developments in learning with a focus on eLearning technologies and platforms, as well as other training methodologies and issues in the humanitarian sector and advise RedR UK programme teams accordingly 
• Contribute to identifying and exploring possibilities for expanding the range of services offered by the organisation and source funding for their implementation 
• Support business development efforts and proposal preparation by ensuring that the L&D component of the methodology is appropriate, services offered are in line with requirements, likely to achieve high impact and adding overall value to the programme 
• Represent RedR UK at selected external events and forums, as appropriate 
• Be the Key Account Manager (KAM) for selected Key Accounts (clients and partners) in line with RedR UK’s KAM System 

Additional responsibilities:

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS 

Essential 

• Experience in design of self-paced and blended eLearning programmes, including experience with Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, Vyond and other animation/design platforms including a strong understanding of accessibility requirements 
• Experience managing Learning Management Systems, especially Moodle 
• Experience and understanding of learning and development approaches, adult learning (andragogy) and participatory learning methodologies, including designing and conducting LNAs, designing, delivering and evaluating face-to-face and online facilitated events and revising/adapting training material
• Experience assessing learning, familiarity with the Kirkpatrick Model, and experience tracking, evaluating and reporting on learning data 
• Excellent people skills and experience in the coordination of consultants, including effective cross-cultural communication and strong inter-personal skills 
• Ability to influence, build and maintain networks and relationships, both externally and internally to achieve good results, representing RedR UK at a senior level to a high standard 
• Good workload management skills and ability to use initiative to solve problems

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Using an account management approach, you will thrive on seeking out, building and nurturing relationships with key job roles at every level within our member organisations, offering them regular support and advice on how to get the most out of their membership of Bond. 

As the first point of contact for Bond members, you will deliver outstanding customer service with a warm, helpful, and confident demeanour, lead meetings with members to understand their needs and identify engagement opportunities, and introduce members to Bond colleagues when appropriate. A firm grasp of the Member Value Proposition is essential, as is the ability to confidently and enthusiastically speak to all aspects of it when interacting with members.

Working alongside the membership and marketing manager, you will help to develop and implement strategies to retain existing members, using data (in Salesforce, our CRM) to inform and tailor our approach including identifying members with low activity or gaps in engagement. You will gather feedback and intel from members through surveys and other mechanisms so that we better understand how and why they value Bond and to identify potential new initiatives and services they may find useful. One of your responsibilities is member renewals (which is integrated with Salesforce), in which you will work with the Salesforce Adviser to ensure that the process is optimised and efficient. You will also regularly compose member emails and newsletters and contribute to Bond reporting and Board papers.

While the role sits in the Communications and Member Services team, it is integral across the organisation. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Member engagement and account management

• Create and implement effective strategies to engage members and keep them involved and interested in Bond’s activities and initiatives.
• Build and nurture relationships with key member audiences to better understand their needs and requirements of Bond and clearly articulate the member value proposition.
• Regularly meet members (predominantly online, but also in person) to discuss their membership and engagement opportunities.

The Director of People and Culture leads on fostering a positive work environment in order to help develop a strong organisational culture, providing high quality leadership and oversight on the development and delivery of Girls Not Brides’ People and Culture strategy. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Planning and Organisational Leadership

• Lead the development and implementation of Girls Not Brides’ people and culture strategies to deliver on the vision, mission and goals set out in the Secretariat and Partnership strategies, 2022-2025.

Lepra has been working for a world free from prejudice and disability due to leprosy since 1924, and has an imperative to support people affected by leprosy, and also lymphatic filariasis (LF). With three core principles of being secular, people-centred, and evidence-led, Lepra works across a spectrum of care and support including, prevention, support for those effect by leprosy and LF, and advocating for the rights and inclusion of those affected.

This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis paying a salary of £35,904 per annum. The position can be either fully remote, hybrid or fully based at their Colchester offices.
The Institutional Trusts and Fundraising Manager will provide strategic oversight and direction for Lepra’s institutional fundraising function to deliver on the restricted and unrestricted income targets. The postholder will be line managing and leading the Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser in the delivery of the trust fundraising target, and working with the programmes teams in the UK, India and Bangladesh to identify and develop applications to statutory sources and major trusts, leading on the development of detailed project proposals.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of working in statutory and/or trusts fundraising, including successfully applying for grants in excess of £50,00 to £100,000+. You will have a demonstrable track record of high quality bid writing and production that meet funder requirements.
