• Strategically guide our brand Development and Innovation:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to enhancing brand visibility and engagement, through innovative approaches and ideas

  • Initiate and manage projects for new content creation, exploring untapped avenues and channels for distribution

  • Strategically repurpose existing content to maximise impact and reach across diverse platforms

• Content Strategy:

  • Work with with cross-functional teams to gather industry insights and craft compelling narratives for our target audiences

  • Guide and manage the development (outsourcing where necessary) of multimedia content 

• Strategic direction in Email Marketing:

  • Develop advanced strategies to expand our email marketing capabilities and subscriber base

  • GuideLead the design and execution of engaging email campaigns that optimise customer engagement and conversion rates

  • Analyse campaign effectiveness and drive continuous improvements based on data-driven insights

• Collaboration and Thought Partnership:

  • Act as a key thought partner to the communications team, contributing to high-level strategy discussions

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent strategic planning and execution skills, developing and managing communication strategies and campaigns that drive results 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) with the ability to produce compelling written materials

• Significant knowledge of digital communications platforms and relevant trends within them, particularly in email marketing and social media 

• Excellent project management skills and ability to independently carry out tasks to meet or exceed target results 

• A good understanding of the non-profit, social enterprise, and philanthropic sector 

• Model data-driven approaches to communications 

• Experience of developing compelling and engaging content, and thinking creatively about how it can best be leveraged to achieve the communications objectives

• Evidence of working on communications programmes that deliver directly to brand-building goals

The Cherie Blair Foundation for Women is looking for an experienced and results-driven marketing professional with great know-how in marketing opportunities and managing agencies, and a commitment to women’s economic empowerment to join our team as Programme Marketing Manager for 12 months.

About the role

Becoming the Programme Marketing Manager at the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women is a fantastic opportunity to help drive progress for women entrepreneurs in low and middle income countries by engaging more people in our work.

The key purpose of this role is to effectively market our programmes to participants – chiefly our HerVenture business skills microlearning app and our sector-leading Mentoring Women in Business programme.

This will span three main projects:

· to successfully manage a marketing agency to effectively market the HerVenture app to women in South Africa (as part of a fixed-term project with active marketing ongoing until Mar ‘25);

· to successfully manage the same marketing agency to promote the app in Nigeria (as part of a separate fixed-term project with active marketing ongoing until Dec ‘24); and

· to effectively promote the opportunity to become a mentor to a woman entrepreneur through our Mentoring Women in Business programme to paying professionals worldwide. Your objective will be to secure 18+ paid mentors for the Nov ’24 programme intake and 20+ for the May ’25 intake.

Following the completion of the two HerVenture marketing projects, you will also lead other programme marketing initiatives in 2025. These will be determined in late 2024.

Following the May ’25 Mentoring intake you will deliver a strategy, harnessing your learning and analysis to outline an approach for marketing the programme to paying mentors in future.

You will also be called on to support other forms of programme marketing on an ad hoc basis, for example advising on development of corporate pitch decks, or co-designing materials for fundraising events.

This position reports directly to the Head of Communications and Marketing, however this is a highly collaborative role and you will also work closely with the Entrepreneurship programmes team and the Programme Funding team to develop and deliver plans and manage projects.

Our ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable and motivated marketer with experience in ‘selling’ professional development / online volunteering opportunities, and in managing agencies and contractors to deliver on fixed projects as aligned to good marketing practices. You should be highly organised and goals-driven, with a collaborative approach, a growth-oriented mindset, and a strong desire to harness the power of marketing to support women’s economic empowerment.

About the role

Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser with an interest in working in the international development sector? Are you creative, strategic, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator and strong team player? 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. If you are seeking a dynamic and engaging fundraising role which offers you the chance to play a pivotal role within a small but ambitious organisation, then this could be the job for you.

You will be an exemplary relationship builder and have experience in developing multi-faceted corporate partnerships (ideally with experience and success in employee engagement, corporate sponsorship, and/or operational partnerships).

The role also line manages the Senior Fundraising Officer post, a position that provides administrative and fundraising support across the whole fundraising team.  Please note that we are a small team and so you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to help out team members and to support new business across other restricted income streams. 

If you think you have the skills, qualities and drive to fulfil this role, but don’t meet all of the specifications, or perhaps you’ve gained your experience in (for example) commercial sales or within relationships management and are looking to move into development work, we would still welcome hearing from you. JOB PURPOSE

This role will support the planning and delivery of digital projects and campaigns that aim to raise awareness of the Start Network, build engagement across membership and support the Start team to work in effective ways. The postholder will create, edit and share digital content, manage online communities and will support the planning, development, maintenance and management of digital platforms.

The post-holder will produce and edit a wide range of digital content, including written content and digital media. The post-holder will also support the day-to-day engagement of stakeholders on digital platforms, such as social media, collaboration platforms and other engagement tools. The post-holder will have a good knowledge of best practise in digital while being able to use data to evidence the effectiveness of content and campaigns.

The post-holder will also manage or support new digital developments, such as data visualisation, that will increase stakeholder engagement in our work. Working closely with stakeholders and colleagues, the post holder will support projects to ensure they meet business and audience needs and that they are delivered on time and on budget.

This role will also coordinate third party suppliers in this process.

This role will be full time, based in the UK or another country of Start Network’s operations with occasional travel required.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

COMMUNITIES AND CONTENT

• Coordinate the day-to-day communications of Start Network programmes on social media channels. Take part in planning and coordination of content for all social media channels, in line with digital engagement strategy.

• Create and share multimedia content for social media and website (such as gifs, images and video) to build engagement with audiences around the world. Collaborate with Graphic Designer, Communications Officer and external agencies and freelancers in production of high quality content, in line with Start Network’s brand guidelines.

• Manage day to day interaction with online communities (including social media, internal and member communities), track engagement, respond to enquiries and generate conversation.

• Advise colleagues on how to use and manage social media and digital communities for greatest impact – Work with the Digital Manager and Communications Manager to deliver training for staff, introducing new platforms and digital tools to the team.

• To assist with the marketing and promotion of Start Network’s content across the website, newsletters and social media channels and to contribute to Start Network’s marketing strategy as required.

DIGITAL PLATFORMS AND WEBSITE

• Work together with the Digital Manager to manage the development of digital platforms, working with internal colleagues and external developers to identify and deliver a range of projects.

• Maintain website content day-to-day, publishing news and blogs, resources, events and updating landing pages. Working with teams across the organisation on updating all pages regularly.

• Make changes to the website based on data, audience, (UX) and expert research to improve accessibility, search engine optimisation (SEO) and the overall experience of our users.

• Maintain the Start Network website day-to-day, identifying bugs, escalating internally and working with the developers to deliver solutions. Provide website, social media and newsletter activity reports and statistics and evaluate them in conjunction with the Communications Officer.

• Maintain a Digital Asset Management system Canto; collating and storing photos and sourcing appropriate stock images.

• Support the day-to-day delivery of digital projects fulfilling the organisations communications and digital objectives. These might include development of maps or other data visualisation tools and microsites. 

• Support effective development and use of internal platforms, Including our data management and CRM platform (Salesforce), and document management tool (Box) while maintaining high standards of data security and privacy.

• Ensure inspirational, informative and educational content for Start Network and its key programmes is shared regularly through the Start Network website and other digital channels, including e-newsletters and social media.

• Work with colleagues and members to edit high quality content in a variety of media, including photography, design, animation and video content.

• Contribute to building a strong organisational digital culture, design and support training delivery to all staff.

• Work together with the colleagues from the Communications team to provide advice and support to colleagues to raise the quality and effectiveness of content across the Network, through templates, guidance and training.

• Together with Events Coordinator and Digital Manager, provide technical support to online events, meetings and webinars.

• Manage the digital inbox and ensure enquiries are dealt with swiftly.

PERSON PROFILE

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL

• Experience of managing social media platforms, including advertising and using scheduling and monitoring tools such as Sprout Social

• Experience of digital marketing and the use of different tools, formats and channels

• Graphic design and/or video editing skills - including experience of using Adobe design software and Canva

• A strong understanding of digital content best practice. This includes SEO, accessibility and UX.

• Passion for creating quality digital content that is informative, engaging and inspires change.

• Confident using a content management system (CMS) to create and edit content on a website (preferably Drupal)

• Proficient use of Google Analytics and other digital tools to review the performance of content and make changes to improve it.

• Organised and proactive: you will be able to work on multiple projects together with day-to-day tasks and meet deadlines.

What is expected of you in the first six months?

• You will take on the management of at least one UK Government-funded health partnership grants programme operating across a range of countries in sub-Saharan Africa.
• This includes running the grants selection, award, contracting and onboarding process
• You will take over project governance structures, managing the inputs of programmes team members, Country Directors and implementing partners.
• You will organise and attend a programme launch event in-country, as well as visit health institutions in sub-Saharan Africa.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Programme Management

• Coordinate staff and implementing partners to ensure the timely completion of deliverables.
• Quality assure the application of THET’s grant management processes by other team members.
• Ensure compliance with donor/country agreements, regulations and requirements.
• Identify, track and manage programmatic risk.
• Ensure effective communication with partners, donors and other stakeholders.
• Oversee project budgets, including monitoring spend against budget, undertaking re-forecasting, and authorising spend.
• Oversee the quarterly reporting process to donors.
• Coordinate and support workstream leads within the project.

Programme quality and design

• Contribute to the design of new projects: co-ordinating the proposal team; overseeing a needs analysis; liaising with stakeholders; contributing to a Theory of Change; developing content; and developing the budget.
• Develop and nurture relationships with potential and existing donors, partner organisations and consultants as appropriate.
• Contribute to the design and improvement of project and health partnership quality programme approaches, including standards, processes, tools and guidance.
• Contribute to the delivery of capacity development interventions for grant holders and THET staff.

Monitoring and Evaluation

• With support from the Research, Evidence and Learning team, oversee Monitoring and Evaluation processes for the programmes you lead, e.g. logframe and reporting mechanisms
• Lead the quarterly and annual reporting and analysis review process with institutional donors.
• Write project reports and programme reviews, and coordination of donor reporting as appropriate.
• Ensure grant holders have effective M&E plans in place and coordinate the review of their reports.
• Coordinate visits to project implementation sites for monitoring and audit purposes.
• Facilitate learning and sharing of good practices across programmes and the wider organisation.

Team Support and Line Management

• Line manage members of the Programmes Team (1-2 Programmes Coordinators).
• Oversee the contracting, payments and deliverables of in-country consultants and other suppliers.
• Lead the induction process for new Programmes Team members and other THET staff when required.
• Work with colleagues from across the team to identify areas for improvement and strengthening.

Miscellaneous

• Attend and present THET’s work at UK and international events, including the THET annual conference.
• Join your choice of THET’s and external thematic working groups, such as on gender equality and social inclusion, on the climate crisis, etc.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of THET and play a leadership role in the Programmes Team

GRT are looking for an experienced, passionate and delivery focused Finance Manager to join our team in Birmingham. You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial one-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role. GRT’s aim is to eradicate poverty by providing humanitarian aid, relief and providing sustainable programmes to the needy across the globe. 

The ideal candidate will have a have a genuine understanding of, and commitment to, the aims and values of the GRT to implement the financial policies whilst working to support our dynamic teams. The Finance Manager will report directly to the CEO.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for preparing financial statements, overseeing monthly management accounts, managing payroll operations, handling accounts payable and receivable, and preparing the annual budget.

Main Responsibilities:

· Ensuring that financial and accounting services adhere to legal standards and contribute to the smooth operation of GRT activities.

· Annually reviewing and updating of all finance related policies.

· Creating an annual budget and regularly monitoring and comparing it with actual figures monthly.

· Managing the finance team by assigning tasks and overseeing their performance.

· Entering all financial data into finance software. (QuickBooks, Sage etc)

· Creating financial statements, overseeing cash management protocols, and managing accounts payable processes.

· Uploading pension contributions to the pension provider's platform

· Maintaining accurate ledgers and conducting monthly reconciliation of bank accounts.

· Ensuring the accuracy of monthly payroll processing.

· Handling banking activities for cash and cheques received.

· Reconciling donations received from online gateways such as JustGiving and Givebrite, as well as those received via standing order or direct debits.

· Administering invoice approval and payment processes, as well as operating expense claim procedures and payments.

· Addressing internal and external customer queries.

· Preparing project payments requests and donor receipts.

· Handling communications with HMRC regarding payroll and Gift Aid.

· Overseeing the maintenance of the inventory of all fixed assets in accordance with contractual and financial regulations.

· Overseeing all payments to suppliers and partner projects, including both local and international transactions.

· Generating month-end reports and quarterly project fund balances.

· Responding to bank inquiries and providing necessary information.

· Completing year-end QuickBooks reports for trustees and the accountant and addressing any inquiries they may have.

· Excellent working knowledge of accounting systems such as QuickBooks or similar software.

· Up-to-date understanding of relevant charity and financial legislation, bookkeeping practices, accounting conventions, and best practices.

· Experience in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and systems.

· Strong numerical, analytical, and strategic skills, including database development and management.

· Meticulous attention to detail.

· Excellent communication skills for presenting to various audiences, including non-financial specialists.

We are looking for a dynamic new team member with a PhD in a science/STEM subject to join our innovative Consulting Team and to contribute to the work of our Data and Training Teams. Agriculture and the health sciences are areas we are particularly interested in.

Specifically, we want an individual with a passion for research and sustainable development, a friendly, outgoing personality and a willingness to learn new skills. We’re looking for someone who wants to engage with international development and research projects to help them work more efficiently and have a greater impact.

This role will offer a range of experience and the opportunity to contribute to the diverse range of services that Scriptoria provides.

Approximately half of your time will be spent working with our exceptionally experienced team of knowledge management and data consultants to help us develop and deliver cutting-edge data-management/analytics solutions and project-management software systems to our clients. Your work will also involve working to help us manage and organise the projects we deliver to clients. The other half of your time will involve meeting with and training clients (to pass on your skills in research communications), both online and through face-to-face courses. Finally, you will be encouraged to contribute to company-wide strategy and business development. 

Your role will include:

• Helping sustainable development and research programs to develop and implement digital tools and analytics systems to better manage their workflows and use their data 

• Working with projects in Africa and Asia to provide technical advisory and consulting services to help them to better manage and share information, knowledge and data

• Training and mentoring international researchers by delivering courses, workshops, and individual support in areas including journal article/report writing, grant writing, project management and communications for non-specialists 

• Contributing to business development across the company, including marketing and client outreach.

Working with Scriptoria 

Our senior team has an exceptional skill set, and we recognise that candidates with all the skills we need simply may not exist. But don’t worry, if you have some of the skills we want but lack others – we will train you to fill those gaps. This will include thorough training in the delivery of our well-respected training courses. 

Our staff have the choice to work wholly or partly from home or from our office in Tooting, SW London, during regular operational hours (08.30-17.30). If working from home, staff must have a working environment suitable for holding video-call meetings/training sessions with clients. 

Wherever you work, you will interact regularly with senior team members to gain new skills and exchange ideas.  

This job will require regular travel to deliver training courses (mostly in the UK, estimated 2 to 8 days per month) and may also involve international travel, including to developing countries. So, applicants must be willing to travel (in line with UK government guidance).

Salary and annual leave 

Salary will depend on qualifications and experience but is expected to be between £35,000 and £38,000 p/a (depending on experience). Annual leave is 25 days per year plus public holidays (33 days).

About the FCDO Centre of Expertise: The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) in partnership with Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) has established a Centre of Expertise (CoE) to serve as an authoritative source of expertise, insightful informational resources, analysis, evidence, and advice on “what works” to support democratic governance around the world.

Programme Manager - Centre of Expertise

The Programme Manager will work under the guidance of the Head of the Centre of Expertise to support the delivery of Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD’s) role in the Centre of Expertise, leading on the procurement, contracting, monitoring and management of WFD Experts.

The Moving Minds Alliance (MMA) is an advocacy impact network focused on Early Childhood Development in Emergencies (ECDiE). It comprises a (growing) network of 38 organizations working together to increase the quantity and quality of funding, policy prioritization, and leadership needed to effectively support young children and caregivers affected by crisis and displacement. MMA’s goal is for all children and caregivers to have access to the power and resources necessary to meet their self-determined needs in an environment of dignity, equity and care, especially in situations of national and international displacement.

MMA does not provide funding for implementation of early childhood programs. As a network, its activities are led by members collaborating in working groups responsible for operationalizing specific areas of work, with support from the Core Team and some external consultants. Operational costs and activities are financed by a sub-group of philanthropic foundations, which are part of the overall MMA membership, through a combination of annual member fees and additional donations and grants. A Steering Committee provides overall strategic direction. MMA is hosted by the International Rescue Committee (IRC-UK).

Our Vision: Rebuilding resilience of the youngest refugees

Forced displacement worldwide is at a record high. Young children and caregivers are disproportionately represented among those fleeing from emergencies and crisis-affected contexts. More than 43 million children have been displaced by conflict. One in four children around the world lives in contexts affected by conflict or disaster. Most children born in displacement will go on to spend their entire childhoods away from home.

Children’s experiences during their formative early years shape the architecture of the brain. This creates the foundation for future development, learning and physical and mental health. Prolonged exposure to violence and toxic stress can have life-long negative effects on children’s development. It can lead to higher levels of depression, anxiety, and in some cases post-traumatic stress disorder. Evidence indicates that quality ECDiE services that support parents, caregivers, and families to provide nurturing care during crisis can mitigate the negative effects of trauma and stress on young children and promote resilience and well-being for a lifetime.

Whilst the international community has made significant efforts to ensure children have access to basic healthcare and nutrition, more must be done to ensure that caregivers and young children can access quality ECDiE services. These services are severely lacking in crisis situations across the globe, as well as in communities hosting refugees and asylum-seekers.

The Purpose of the Role

The Knowledge Management and Learning Lead is a critical new appointment. The post-holder will support MMA’s ambition to become the thought leader and ‘go-to’ agency for the latest global, regional and local thinking, evidence and advocacy content on ECDiE. They will strengthen MMA’s capacity for disseminating learning and evidence for impactful advocacy, promoting uptake of evidence that emerges from research, linking researchers with policy makers and practitioners who can use it, including the development of learning products and policy statements.

The post-holder will understand that high quality research, information and learning exchange is the lifeblood of an effective network. They will support MMA to systematically strengthen learning and knowledge exchange. They will ensure that the views and perspectives of affected children, caregivers and communities are centred. They will support the Research Forum on Young Children in Emergencies, which generates research that can be used to influence policymakers and practitioners to provide more effective support to enable young, displaced children and their families to thrive.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement MMA’s MERLA framework and Strategy with the support of technical experts from across the MMA network:

a. Define MMA’s learning agenda and gather data and evidence on its core research questions.

b. Collect, curate and aggregate learning across MMA member initiatives and generate evidence on the outcomes / impact of MMA activities.

c. Harvest, distil and (internally and externally) disseminate evidence and learning on ECDiE from its members.

d. Create platforms and processes to support and enhance internal learning, knowledge sharing, and alignment across the MMA membership and Working Groups.

e. Develop mechanisms to support the MMA’s ongoing performance improvement. This includes ensuring that appropriate digital platforms are in place for data collection and working with the MMA Director to make sure that our learning approach is supported through effective use of data.

f. Work with the Communications Manager to curate, build and share our digital library of resources, information and knowledge across the Alliance membership.

g. Identify, engage and support local partners to harvest emergent evidence from community-based innovations in ECDiE. Present this evidence in case studies and other learning products which can be used to increase the effectiveness of advocacy.

h. Increase outreach to and collaboration with regional and global organizations working on issues related to young children in emergencies through participation in events and meetings.   

2. Oversee the annual production of key learning products. This will include reports which summarise the extent to which national humanitarian and climate response plans identify and prioritise young children and caregivers.

3. Provide day to day co-ordination and support to the Moving Minds Alliance Research Forum. This will include:

a. Organizing and producing webinars, to shed light on ongoing research efforts taking place worldwide, specifically focused on young children and families in emergency contexts.

b. Creating monthly research roundups to compile the most recent, relevant, and impactful research findings in ECDiE.

c. Promoting the “Meet the Fellows” series on the MMA’s social media platforms (LinkedIn & Twitter), in collaboration with the Communications Manager.

d. Expanding participation by members and Research Fellows at conferences and events.

As part of a small team, the post-holder will also share the MMA team’s collective responsibility to deliver an effective and impactful secretariat function. 

Key Working Relationships

The Knowledge Management & Learning Lead will work independently, reporting to the MMA Director. They will be a senior member of the core team and will be expected to support day-to-day activities. The post-holder will work collaboratively with MMA member representatives. They will work alongside MMA working groups and committees, such as the Steering and Strategy Committees

They will work closely with the Arab Resource Collective (ARC – the host organization of ANECD) in Lebanon and BRAC IED in Bangladesh, two of MMA’s key members which will be actively involved in the management of The Research Forum.

The role will involve coordinating with monitoring and evaluation and/or programmatic staff from the different organisations across the membership and with our partners.

They will identify, engage, and work with local partners directly involved in implementing ECDiE in diverse contexts and settings.

They will collaborate with IRC team members where required. From time to time, they may oversee consultants.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The role leads on the delivery of Bond’s corporate and CEO level events. This role is managed by the Head of Communications but also works with the corporate and marketing team, the Director of Membership and Communications and CEO. 

The primary focus of this role is to manage and deliver high-quality events for Bond’s corporate partners to help them reach their target audiences, and to deliver high level events for CEOs and senior leaders across our network to help provide senior leaders with the support and skills needed to provide effective and supportive leadership. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Corporate events:

• Manage and deliver a range of events to fulfil contractual commitments with corporate partners.
• Ensure the successful execution of events, including hybrid and face-to-face components, across various locations including potential European venues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality events that meet partner expectations and contribute to revenue generation.

2) CEO engagement events:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive program of events targeting CEOs and senior leaders within our network.
• Coordinate logistics, including speaker liaison, venue sourcing, and event planning for CEO events throughout the year.
• Work closely with senior management to align events with organisational goals and strategies outlined in Bond’s membership strategy.

3) Special projects:

• Coordinate special one-off projects and events as required by members or donors, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.

4) General

• Ensure the successful delivery of Bond corporate and CEO events both online and in person, where appropriate.
• Ensure events logistics, including working with any contractors and with any external booking systems are successfully delivered.

• Support all digital content of uploading and editing sessions and speakers on the Bond website.

Transparency International is a global movement sharing one vision: a world in which government politics, business and the daily lives of people are free of corruption. Transparency International UK is the UK national chapter of this movement. Transparency International – Defence & Security (TI-DS) is one of TI’s global programmes and is committed to tackling corruption in the global defence and security sector. Located in London and hosted by Transparency International’s UK chapter, the programme works with defence institutions, governments, defence industry, civil society and international organisations worldwide to strengthen transparency, accountability and oversight systems in a traditionally opaque and secretive sector. We contribute to broad-based coalitions and collective action working with reform-minded actors to bring about change.

Transparency International - Global Health (TI GH) is another of TI’s global programmes and works to ensure that health systems around the world are free from corruption, allowing people to access the health care they need. Our work focusses on tackling corruption, and improving transparency at three key points in the health value chain - medical research and development, procurement, and at the point of service delivery.

About the role

As Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and reporting on impact of the international programmes (TI Defence and Security programme 90%, TI Global Health 10%). You will provide the technical and functional support to the programmes by capturing, analysing and reporting project results as well documenting and sharing project learnings from within the TI and global chapter programmes.

In addition to this role, you will:

Monitoring (40%)

• Be responsible for rolling out the results monitoring framework and results reporting strategy by gathering and analysing outcome and impact data via day-to-day monitoring and quarterly simplified outcome harvesting exercises.
• Present findings to the Programme Management team and donors.
• Lead on devising, coordinating, and conducting regular data-quality assurance initiatives
• Play a key role in designing Theories of Change for TI and global chapters.
• Drive MEL system acceptance and strengthen a ‘MEL culture’ within the team. 
• Review and advise on improvements to the Theory of Change and logframe to ensure relevance and measurable pathway to impact

Learning (40%)

• Develop processes to ensure learning is identified and captured across all areas of the programme.
• Lead the creation of regular learning briefs, including brainstorming key topics, gathering evidence from key TI chapters around the world, reporting on lessons learned, and presenting findings internally and externally.
• Collect, analyse, synthesise, and present on the latest evidence on ‘what works’ in anticorruption sector.
• Facilitate regular learning sessions within the team to institutionalise key knowledge and skills.

Evaluation (10%)

• Assist TI and chapter programme teams in the design and roll out of programme evaluations.
• Facilitate the implementation of programme evaluations by recruiting external consultants and coordinating with donors, stakeholders, and other TI chapters.

Data and Knowledge Management (5%)

• Act as DS point of contact for the M&E lead to capture, disseminate project learning and ensure that this is fed into future TI and partner work.
• Ensure that learning from work is used to tailor and adjust the project approach to maximise impact.
• Be a key member of the Evidence and Impact working group, work with group to further develop TI UK’s overall E&I approach.

Other (5%)

• Assist or lead the design and development of programme concept notes, bids or proposals.
• Assist wider MEL efforts within the TI-UK team where needed.

About you

To be successful in the role you will have/will be:

• Proven experience of the design and implementing of Monitoring and Learning frameworks in international programmes (ideally covering Fragile and Conflict Affected States)
• Applied training in or experience working with research methods (quantitative and qualitative)
• Strong data reporting skills with proven ability to engage with and manage donor formal reporting and ad-hoc requests;
• Excellent communicator, with a demonstrated ability to build networks and collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at different levels of seniority;
• An ability to see both the big (strategic) picture, identifying opportunities for innovation and value addition, as well as keeping alert to programme delivery risks linked to the monitoring and learning aspect of the programme;
• Demonstrable skills in communicating and transforming technical/analytical information into non-technical and compelling stories
• Proficient in managing databases
• Excellent data analysis, interpretation, and presentation skills 
• Experience in conducting quality assurance and critical review of organisation-wide data within international development
