Digital Engagement Co-Ordinator
Temporary - 3 months
Locations - London/ Remote
Pay - £17.94 PAYE plus £2.17 holiday pay per hour

Charity People are thrilled to be working with Action Against Hunger to find them a Digital Engagement Co-Ordinator to work for three months to help their brilliant Communications Team through a particularly busy period. This is a part-time role, working 3 days per week (22.5 hours), and this role can involve going to their London office one day per week, or fully remote.
You will work well in busy, being reactive, and ensuring you are following up and supporting the team as best as you can with website and email content, SEO, communication and all digital engagement. You will bring excellent Wordpress and copywriting skills. A huge advantage would be if you have used Engaging Networks.
Key responsibilities:
- Send weekly emails that are tailored to the needs of audience and inspire them to take action - whether that's signing a petition, making a donation, or signing up to a challenge event.
- Work closely with the Public Engagement and Advocacy teams to make sure their emails meet fundraising and brand marketing objectives.
- Liaise with the Press and PR team to make sure key media moments and TV coverage are included in the email schedule.
- Manage the email schedule
The pay is £17.94 PAYE plus £2.17 holiday pay per hour. Interviews are next week with the view to start soon after.

Harris Hill has an urgent request for a Digital Engagement Coordinator to join an international charity in a 3 day week, for 3 months.
This is a great opportunity to work with a high profile charity, working within some of the hot topics from around the world.
This role is to support a busy period and will require an initial couple days in their London office before being totally remote.
We are looking for a experienced Copywriter, who has experience of using Wordpress for websites, and ideally Engaging Networks for emails, although Mailchimp or DotDigital can be accepted too.
Some experience of using Canva for graphics would be desirable but not essential.

BRAC UK is offering a 3 month paid internship this summer in memory of our colleague Helen Turner. This internship will invite the successful candidate into the exciting and fast-paced world of fundraising for a major global NGO, BRAC.
BRAC is a southern-led international development charity with the vision for a world free from all forms of exploitation and discrimination. By partnering with over 100 million people and working across 17 countries BRAC aims to empower people and communities in situations of poverty, illiteracy, disease, social and climate injustice. Working mainly alongside the partnerships team, the international development intern will learn about the entire fundraising cycle, from prospecting donors to contracts being signed. AfID is recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist in international NGO grant audit services for development donors such as the UN and the World Bank. Assignments would suit experienced qualified audit professionals with grant audit / management experience, ideally in a not-for-profit/ international development context
Role overview.
Complete international grant expenditure audits for a diverse range of projects (grant recipients) funded by international donor institutions ranging from emergency aid, to long term development in areas such as agriculture, health or infrastructure or technical research. Assignments are 1-3 weeks in length and based across the European mainland and the developing world. These are offered on an assignment by assignment basis, one to two months in advance.
Contractors can be based outside the UK
Requirements
- Qualified ACA / ACCA or equivalent – 5+ years post qualified experience
- Grant management and audit and reporting experience with international institutions. Preference given to individuals that have worked on UN or EC grant assurance assignments
- Diplomacy and cultural sensitivity while working with a hugely diverse range of clients and beneficiaries
- A real interest in international development and associated funding structures
- Ideally but not essential fluency in a second language such as Spanish, German, French, Arabic & Portugese
- Excellent communication, report writing and presentation skills in English.
- Resilience and adaptability
Personal attributes:
- At least 5-10+ years of relevant audit experience
- Ability to work under pressure; Strong planning, organisational and time management skills
- Sound technical and analytical skills, report writing and presentation skills
Passionate about international travel and development and willing to work in international locations. Individual must be prepared to travel to challenging locations when it is deemed safe to do so. Individuals must also be able to demonstrate effective past working practices when working remotely with a range of clients.
