We’re excited to announce the first-ever North West RSPCA Dogs’ Day Out event, taking place on the 5th of July at the Great Harwood Showground. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring our North West RSPCA community together, celebrate our important work and raise vital funds.

 

The event will be packed with exciting attractions, including:

 

�� A dog show

 

�� A Charity Supermarket

 

�� Agility demonstrations

 

�� Food and Drink

 

�� RSPCA Inspectorate demonstrations of their vital  life-saving activities for all creatures great and small!

 

To make this day a huge success, we need enthusiastic volunteers from 10am - 4pm. Whether you’re a long-term RSPCA volunteer or brand new in your role, we’d love your support! Refreshments will be provided and you'll be able to experience the event as a VIP!

 

Volunteer roles include:

 

Interacting with Attendees:

  • Greet attendees, offer parking assistance

  • Process entry payments

  • Answer inquiries, provide directions/event info

  • Proactively offer assistance as needed

Assisting with Activities:

  • Support dog-themed activities & other games

  • Engage participants, offer encouragement

  • Assist with crowd control & queue management

Creating a Welcoming Atmosphere:

  • Decorate event space, arrange seating/activity areas

  • Maintain clean environment & accessibility

  • Help set-up and close down the event 

Providing Information:

  • Share your RSPCA volunteer experiences

  • Distribute informational materials.

  • Answer questions, promote RSPCA & collect contact info if needed
